“Generally, excellent service. - except for delivery. I would rather they didn't use Evri, in my experience the worst courier. My criticism of Postscript is the number of damaged deliveries I've received. They should use DPD, as they used to. And they need to use stronger boxes. On two occasions, I've received just an empty box, with the contents having totally broken through the packaging and been separated and lost. Speed of delivery doesn't matter to me, but the condition of the books is paramount.”

Hi Michael, I am very sorry to hear that you appear to be having issues with your books being delivered to you in a condition both you and we would expect. We do not currently have the ability to use DPD as you have yourself identified, but I can assure you that we are constantly reviewing our delivery partners to ensure we can attain the best service while also maintaining value for our customers. Our service with Evri continues to surpass our expectations and consistently achieves successful delivery rates of over 98%, which from an industry perspective is very good. However, we do recognise that where we view this from a holistic perspective, individual concerns from our customers matter just as much. We will raise an investigation into the depot servicing your local area with a view to addressing any mishandling locally which may be impacting on your experience with us. Beyond this, as I said previously, we are always reviewing the delivery options we can offer to our customers and as a result of this we have recently taken on a new delivery option via Royal Mail's Tracked48 service. Perhaps this may be an option for you on future orders if your experience has previously been better with them? The service costs a little more at £5.50 but as is implied, the service is a 48 hour trackable service where the standard Evri option is 3 to 5 working days. I know you stated time is not your biggest driver for making your concerns but the alternative service may provide you with another, better local option for yourself and your future orders. Please continue to let us know if you have any concerns with future orders or deliveries, we welcome feedback as an opportunity to review our services and assess the impact on our customers. “I have been a customer of Postscript for several years - and they have a fascinating range of books! I now only allow myself one purchase a month. I use them for gifting - and for myself. I adore history and theology - and I can simply indulge at fantastic prices. Now I have a grandson - I can also indulge for him as well. Their range seems to offer more and more options. Only once have I had to contact customer services - and they couldn't have been more helpful. I cannot recommend them more highly, for the curious or the obsessive mind.”

“Problems with tracking which said my postcode did not exist. Then unable to find out when it would be delivered. It was eventually delivered without much warning. Postscript needs to use a better delivery company.”

We appreciate your feedback on our chosen delivery company and while Evri has a very high success rate for delivering their parcels, we appreciate that this isn't the case for every delivery made and we're constantly reviewing the services that we offer our customers. We're currently offering Royal Mail as an alternative, which is slightly more expensive at £5.50 but is sent on a tracked48 service, and this option is available if placing your order online or over the phone.
