“I have been using premier for a year now and All Staff I have had dealings with have been friendly, polite and extremely helpful. I would Highly recommend Premier to anyone wishing to train.
Thank you to everyone I have dealt with to date and I look forward to doing further training with you in the future.”
“I found that the overall course was good and teaching was good. BUT the wait time for the A&P exam is ridiculous! This needs to be sorted out, they have 2 weeks to mark it and it still takes longer!”
“Tutors where amazing! Nikos, Patrick, Ian and Sam all need a pay rise they work their arses off 24/7 for this company!
However it is well over I believe it is £1000 too much and I was upset to find out that we don't get any premier student tshirts or gym wear which we could use for reference.
Other than that it was an amazing course, the business and sales need to be done in class rather than on your own terms as I struggled to complete on time with no help from tutors”
“Course was good and intense ( to be expected )
Course tutors in particular Greg Issacs and Craig Salmon was great very helpful and informative at all times.
Venue at David Lloyds Dartford was good but at the time undergoing a refurbishment which in the gym great results but incase of the class room was a let down due to no doors being fitted so the noises travelled into classroom was distracting especially on exams .
The only criticism is the length of time receiving Certificates seem to take too long to receive .
Overall tho I would and do recommend Premier to others as I intend to carry on with more CPD courses with Premier and would like to thank them for guidance in my new career.”
“The trainers and people were really good. The course was really enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it. I would have left a 5 star review but it took 5-6 phone calls and 6 months to get my certificates.”
“Learnt a lot about myself by trining with Premier, and how best to train other people. I feel more confident in myself and what I am capable of. I fully recommend Bristol Hengrove Park Leisure Centre as a training centre and all the staff/tutors who work there, they do a great job, and actually care about you as a person, well, you have to in such an industry where you deal with people however, it does take a special kind of person to do it for real. I invite anyone to go out there and do it for themselves, do what makes you happy....”
“Overall, I really enjoyed my course with Premier. The 6-week intensive diploma program was full on, but worth while. I feel we could have benefitted from more group training practical sessions, with direct instruction from our mentor versus "pair-up and try on your own." I feel the class learned lots together during our circuit and kettle bell training days, and a few more hands-on training sessions similar to those would have been beneficial. I also feel that shadowing or a short internship with an established trainer would really benefit new students. Trying to break into a fitness industry as a "green" personal trainer can be difficult and an internship with a gym-based trainer could improve confidence, build skill sets that could set the new students up for a successful future.”
“The course I did with premier training gave me a great understanding about how to be a top personal trainer. I learnt a lot with the teachers at premier training Windsor and I even still sometimes refer to my training now.”
“I came from a medical background and was amazed at the standard of teaching that the trainers had. They managed to get everyone understanding the workings of the human body within a relatively short space of time!
The trainers were great, making all the training sessions interesting and the resources provided were clear and fully informative to support the lectures.
I haven't stopped raving about Premier since I qualified and would recommend them to anyone thinking of joining the industry.”
“Here are the Pros:
Excellent training materials covering what we needed at each stage. The materials were engaging and easy to read.
The tutors were all knowledgeable and approachable and engaged the learners well.
Cons:
I felt the biggest gap for me is what exercises do we do with clients and how to create a well thought out session plan. It would have been nice to have a resource that explains exercises for each muscle group and how to use these exercises effectively. I've since found a resource that I've invested in that tackles this and much more.
Overall I would recommend Premier and I've been really impressed with the careers service team who've answered all my questions and queries quickly and easily.”
“choosing to train with Premier Training International is not a bad idea, the course content is so rich and well understood, the programme enrich my knowledge of Anatomy, exercise physiology, method of instructing and first aid to mention but a few. I can now confidently design and deliver fitness programme in the Gym. the Instructors are very good in terms of delivering and always willing to assist, the instructions were simple, clear and well packaged, reading materials were readily available to assist and guide you. I am proud to be trained by Premier Training International and I will always do.
thanks to all Premier Staff”
“I am really glad I chosed Premier for my PT qualifications course, it was really great, the tutors were nice and explained everything, they made sure we understand the topics. I appreciated the option of installments plan as well.”
“I feel like the follow up from the course is deeply lacking. I haven't received my certificate yet and I haven't really been followed professionally at all. I discovered only by calling yesterday that the membership to then require the insurance wasn't something already set up for me but actually something I had to request. I feel there could be a more efficient and attentive process with graduated students.
Having said that, I am happy with the course and with where I am at.”
“Tutors excellent and knowledgeable. I have done gym instructor L2 PT L3 and Sports Massage Therapist course L3/L4.
The only thing that let the whole experience down was trying to get hold of certificates. As a military leaver this created massive confusion. Seeing as the owner of premier is ex military this surprised me. I completed my sports massage therapist course in May 2015 last year. I finally got my certificates in January 2016. Endless calls and emails to the customer service didn't seem to get the message through. Obviously I was annoyed as without a certificate I couldn't purchase the necessary insurance thus effecting my earning potential for over 6 months. Not even a apology or real reasons as to why the delay. I'm not unreasonable but when you've paid $$$$ you don't expect this from the leading trainer in the UK.
Good courses, good instructors, average gym, bad administration”
“-Presentations were clear and easy to understand
-The instructor related the course material to real life experiences , made connections across the lessons and activities and provided prompt and clear feedback on homework lab activities, and tests or quizzes
-All staff was prepared for each class; The gym was sufficiently stocked with equipment for all courses we done.
-Class participation was enhanced through effective use of questions
-Students felt comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas
-The activities and labs helped me achieve the course objectives
-The classroom and gym equipment functioned properly and satisfactorily.”
“I felt the training did not at all prepare me for the PT world and not enough skills were learnt for example simple plyometric or calisthenic training which every gym is now doing, failed to be taught in detail at premier.
Not to mention getting a diploma and graduating from the obesity and diabetes management course did nothing to get a good job in this field. I felt wrongly advised that this would be a great choice of education and an "emerging sought after" employment field! That was totally the opposite. There is no investments from the government at this current state and I had no voice but to return to the office field and write off this experience as a complete waste of money.
Another point I wish to raise is the total rip off for the fees. I paid full price for all 3 states that I took where other class mates got 30-50% off because they joined at a later stage that year.
Louise Skinner, another person in my class even had the obesity course for free.
Would not recommend this to anyone!”
