Very poor quality ink 540 and 541 for cannon printer.... lines through printing and pictures..

The ink arrived promptly so good service there. Sadly having loaded both cartridges my HP Desktop 2600 refuses to function. All I can assume is that HP technology does not allow none genuine products.

Bought two cartridges for my HP printer. Managed one black copy ok. Next use was a banded colour copy and no copy at all with the black one. Absolute rubbish. Wont buy again

They arrived quickly enough, but print cartridges are no good if they don't work. We printed two sheets before a message appeared to say the cartridges were empty. Will be seeking a full refund and are not intending to use this supplier again.

Hi Gintaras, I am sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with the canon re-manufactured Canon PG-540XL Compatible High Capacity Black Ink Cartridge purchased from us. Canon printers have no way of looking inside the cartridge or detecting fresh ink. Instead the cartridge just monitors how many pages have been printed and the average page coverage since it was first installed into a printer. From this information your printer estimates the ink level of the cartridge and when it believes the ink cartridge is running low/empty will present you with the “Check Ink”, "Low ink" or a support code 1686 or 1688 message. As a result of this way of estimating ink levels, even an original Canon ink cartridge will almost certainly have some ink left when your printer warns you it is empty. Canon printers allows you to continue printing with a single button press and will usually give this prompt in a fairly sizable message once it detects that the cartridge may be empty. Simply hold down your printers STOP/RESET/RESUME button for five seconds and then release. Whilst the name with which the button is referred to may change, the symbol it is represented with will always remain the same. ( A circle with an upside down triangle inside). The cartridge should last as long if not longer than the original and we do guarantee this. Please let me know how you get on with the advice above. The ink cartridges won't work in my HP Envy 5530 even though they are advertised as compatible.

Good Morning Philip, Order Number PB180128-LV115863 Thank you for your recent feedback, I can see that you have not contacted us to advise us of the issue previously. I'm sorry that you are having a problem with the (301XL) Compatible Text Quality Black & Colour Ink Cartridge Pack supplied by us. There may be a problem with the communication between the cartridges and your printer – this is usually caused by dirt, such as dust or even a fingerprint, on the copper contact plate on the cartridges. Please follow these cleaning instructions on the cartridges to hopefully resolve the problem: Place some old newspaper down to capture any spillage of ink. Remove the cartridges from your printer – switch your printer off. Using a piece of damp kitchen roll, gently wipe the copper plate on the cartridges to give them a thorough clean. Allow the chips to dry. Once the chips are completely dry, re-install the cartridges into your printer and switch the printer back on. I would recommend that you run the print head cleaning program on your printer to clean the heads and push the ink through. For best results you should run the program three to four times. As you are using a 'Text Quality' cartridge I would also recommend to go onto your printers maintenance settings, you should be able to change your printers settings to "Picture Quality", this will ensure a better quality of print. If you find that after following this procedure you are still having a problem please let me know by replying to this email and we would be more than happy to replace the cartridges for you on a like for like basis or refund you. Ordered cartridge, delivery was fine but the ink ran out after printing just 8 pages ! After paying £20 that’s extremely poor. Update: just wanted to update on my review, after contacting customer services, I must say they were very prompt replying when dealing with my issue above and the matter was resolved very quickly, so thank you very much.

I received a dry ink cartridge and emailed customer service twice and received no reply. Very bad after service so will not be using them again.

The cartridges failed to work after 5 printed sheets. Customer services came back quickly to tell me to reset the machine each time it stopped. Pretty pointless having a wireless printer you have to keep resetting and when I tried it, it didn't work anyway. Asked for money back under their no quibble guarantee and they ignored me. Waste of money and I'm guessing when I look at taking actions, their location in Channel Islands will prevent me.

Why has every cartridge I have purchased from you never print more than 1 or 2 A4 sheets then stop printing, the recent purchase of black and colour cartridges stopped printing after had an erro

The product is a complete scam. I installed both the black & coloured cartridges but I was only able to print 5 pages with the black ink & nothing at all with the coloured ink... I kept taking out both cartridges and reinstalling them but each time I try, it brings messages such as ink volume not known, ink cartridge empty, a cartridge that was once used is replaced. I thought I could get a bargain but I got was utter disappointment and this happened at a time I needed my printouts urgently. I will never introduce printer basics to anyone for whatever reasons. Thank you.

Really disappointed with the product. It arrived on time. I put it in the printer last week and printed off 3 sheets of A4. Now it's saying the black cartridge is empty. We don't use our printer much. The last cartridges lasted well over a year. Do I need to phone you Monday to discuss this.? Thanks
