“A low cost introduction to refurbishd, ( not origional manufacturer ), ink catridges. I found quite satisfactory. (More than 33% cheaper than origionals).”

“I was a bit wary of using remanufactured catriges, as I had been caught out before with one of my printers refusing to accept them as they were not the manufacturer's product. This time there was no need to worry, my Epson R300 accepted them with no problems. I know where to go when they need replaced. Highly recommended.”

Dear Customer Thank you for your query regarding the recycling of your used ink cartridges. UK retailers must provide a process which allows all customers the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge, on a like-for-like basis. Therefore, if you are purchasing a new ink or toner cartridge, we are pleased to offer the opportunity to recycle your old, unwanted or used ones for free. I have arranged for a recycling bag to be sent to you in the post to enable you to forward your old ink cartridge to us so that we can send it for recycling. Waste electrical and electronic equipment is collected at local council recycling centers and at some retailers. They are no longer generally collected from the kerbside. This is to prevent items that need to be disposed of safely not ending up in landfill. Where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination, harming wildlife and even human health. To locate a local council recycling centre closest to you, please use this link: https://www.recyclenow.com/local-recycling To remind you of which items can be recycled, all products are now marked with a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol. “The ink arrived promptly so good service there. Sadly having loaded both cartridges my HP Desktop 2600 refuses to function. All I can assume is that HP technology does not allow none genuine products.”

“Actually this review is to point up the fact that Printer Basics doesn't have a recycling policy built into their service. I think the time is gone when companies do not take responsibility for their plastic and recycling. And toner is an obvious candidate. PB should send out a recycling solution (e.g. return label) with every cartridge so the user can send their spent plastic toner to whichever company PB partners with for this purpose. If nothing else it would be good publicity. And if extra paper is thought wasteful, put a big button on your website that directs customers how to do it.”
