I submitted my first claim with Protect Your Bubble in August 2024. I received my repaired iPhone on 31st August and began using it the following day, but serious issues emerged within just four days of use. On 4th September, condensation appeared in both the front and rear cameras after minimal exposure to rain. This happened despite PYB's recent repairs. I contacted them as soon as possible, and they responded that they do not cover water damage for iPhone repairs—even though the issue clearly resulted from their poor workmanship. The most frustrating part is that the faulty seals around the screen could only be identified after the phone was exposed to rain. Considering that the original device is IP68 certified and PYB claims to return phones to full working order, I would have expected the phone to withstand light rain. Additionally, the phone's NFC (Apple Pay) functionality never worked after the repair. When I raised this issue, PYB conveniently refused to cover it, citing that they do not cover devices that have experienced water damage. This left me with a phone that did not meet the standard of an adequately repaired device. I have been a paying customer, spending £19 a month for two and a half years with PYB, and I feel ripped off and poorly treated. PYB states that the repairs are quality assured and tested, but I have not been sent proof. I highly doubt there is quality assurance testing, as both the issues of poor sealing and faulty NFC would have been picked up. PYB has demonstrated a lack of accountability, and their customer service has been deeply unsatisfactory due to their predatory policies. I strongly advise others to seek alternative insurance providers who take responsibility for their repairs and offer better customer support. To resolve this, I expect PYB to review my case and either repair or replace my device to restore it to a complete working condition. Until these issues are fixed, I will file a complaint with the Ombudsman and continue to write negative reviews on all platforms where PYB can be reviewed, sharing my experience to dissuade others from doing business with them.

Terrible product . Can't make any bubbles with this product . When we tried the product and didn't work could not find the receipt so out $11.00

This was a while back now - I got gadget insurance on my phone and daughters iPad Gave em all the serial numbers etc Paying for 9/10 months when my daughter broke her iPad Called them and they said the iPad was to old , it was over two years old so 3 years old Baffled because you was happy taking the payments for months They said must of been a mix up and paid me back only what I paid for the iPad Cancelled the policy SCAM company

It's virtually impossible to make a claim, and out of the blue just had my policy cancelled and cover rescinded because my bank accidentally and incorrectly informed them that my DD had been cancelled. They illegally removed cover despite being within a pre-paid period, literally 3 days after taking payment. They want your money and they DO NOT want to provide the cover that they state Avoid. There are much better companies out there These are just the one that spends the most of YOUR money on advertising to new customers. EDIT: To add, you're threatened with your negative review being taken down if you don't provide them with extra information. Nothing they can do will make me change my rating as I've had nothing but negative experiences with the company. This shows that their positive Trustpilot rating is inflated due to pressure placed on reviewers to allow the takedown of poor reviews. The response to a negative review was faster than the pending call-back I was promised. This shows that they are more concerned with public image than actual customer service and speedy resolution of issues. EDIT : 15/05/2024 Dropping this to a 1 star as I've been chasing a complaint for more than two weeks now I've had 4 promised call backs that never happened Complaints that go straight in the bin and straight up lies about the status of my cover I'm referring them to the ombudsman as they are a fraudulently operating company. If I could give a zero I would, multiple times I tried to log back into my account, multiple time request a new password or password reset never once received an email neither any help from customer service, only way I could cancel is by canceling direct debit won't be long until I get a email saying I haven't paid

I Contacted PYB several times only to be told iPhone was waiting to be ‘quality checked’ Took 18 days to return iphone only to find the Apple battery was replaced with non genuine battery & only lasted 24 hours & won’t switch on. I now have to return iPhone, so inconvenient. I will leave further review one iPhone has been returned

If I could give no stars I would. We can’t believe this company. For almost 3 years paid out 575.64 p to this company. My phone wouldn’t charge so rang up to try to sort . They said would try to repair it and if not repairable would give me a refurbished phone…. The refurbished ones are 200 odd pounds so taking off the 90 excess this would be 110 only they were paying out…. A new phone was around 400 to replace. Decided to go to a local shop called Arma force who charged me 35 pounds . So over the years would of saved 540.64 What a rip off. I think if you are insured they should replace like for like.After all you are paying out so much . Beware don’t go with this company. Hence we are terminating our policy. I think this one needs to be on ‘Rip off Britain. ‘

I have theft and loss cover which i pay extra for, had my phone stolen, they wouldnt cover it. Have crime refference numbers, been with them for years, as soon as i want to make a claim, sorry nope! Stay clear, been requesting there T&C for days and still nothing. Absolute rip off. That will teach me for being honest with these scum bags, should have just said i lost it down the pub, maybe i would have had a chance at getting my phone replaced. Typical insurance company, any loop hole so they dont have to pay out. Why look after your loyal customers when you can just shaft them and move on?

Thank you accepting the claim. I was extremely disappointed to know that I was lured into buying insurance from Protect Your Bubble. Customers be aware!!!! 1) They don't cover your device colour, even though in the terms in condition it says they will attempt to find the same colour. They don't even an option for them to request your colour. They will send you any colour they have in stock. 2) They will ONLY send you a refurbished phone! which means you will automatically have battery issues. I bought iphone 13 pro max 256gb Alpine Green in June 2022. Protect your bubble have sent a grey, refurbished phone and the battery is already dying. It went from 100% to 97% in an hour. Please go with Apple Care + theft/loss. They cover you for like-to-like and give a new phone. I am so disappointed with Protect your bubble. My brand new phone was stolen and then I was told that I will receive an refurbished phone and any random colour.

Customer service is ZERO they are rude and they have no idea how to handle complaints. They will try to get you to give your credit card over the phone 1 digit at a time. In doing so it make it so much easier for fraud to take place but unfortunately they are ignorant when to complain.

DO NOT INSURE ANYTHING WITH THEM I have sent item for repair never got it back should give 0 stars but that is not an option. Customer Services lie to me every time I call. In addition to this they barley speak simple English. They said to start with 5 days, then it was 2, then two times 1 day and I still have no item back. Complaint department ignoring calls and emails. I lost a tablet worth £120 and £50 excess. ABSOLUTELY A FRAUD NOT REPAIR CENTRE.

People you Must avoid protectyourbubble.com , all replacement devices are faulty and refurbished terrible. Claims took 2 month to settle, my god the delivery service DPD the worst delivery company I have ever came across drivers stealing your device and take pictures of your address and saying it has been delivered. Without the help of financial ombudsman you won't get compensations for your lost and stolen device. You must think twice before you choose protectyourbubble.com. Very rude customer service , I do have a proof of email stating your claim will be settled in 1 to 3 working days and Monday to Friday is 5 working days but with protectyourbubble.com it's 2 working days . Terrible phone line , nowhere near the UK standard company. I paid £1200 to my phone plus £150 access for my claim I end up with getting £950 after 2 months of swearing and fighting with the customer service . I simply advise you find alternative insurance provider

They accepted my money and my laptop, Mobile and camera under their insurance. When my camera was stolen back in February, it has taken them until July to tell me that because my camera was older than 12 months old the insurance wouldn't cover it. So much effort to process and collect the countless documents that were needed, to be told I was never covered with them...wow

Absolutely disgusting service!!!! CANCEL UR POLICY B4 THEY LEGALLY "STEAL" ANYMORE OF YOUR MONEY!!!! Been taking direct debits for nearly 2YEARS, I put a claim in 16th Feb 2022, I have sent numerous emails as to why my claim is still pending, I phoned them today as a bank alert saying they had taken money again reminded me to call, I call them an she says "oh ur claim has been accepted" I said when was it accepted? She said today, 6th June 2022. Ive literally been begging them to sort phone out or put back all the money taken. I've paid for absolutely NOTHING!!! DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE. GO WITH UR DEVICE PROVIDER INSTEAD

it is the worse company to insure your phone with , i payed all my subscription and when i needede help with my phone being stolen whiles i was in a bus on my way home, they declined and cancelled my insurances . the claims officer (Finn chilton) said to me that i should have carried my backpack in front whiles standing in a bus and also i culdnt provide a bus ticket for my journey because i didnt remember paying cash or card. FIND A BETTER COMPANY OR YOUR BANK TO INSURE WITH THAN THIS FRAUDSTERS, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY MONTHLY AND WHEN THE TIME COMES FOR THEM TO HONOR THE INSURANCE THEY WILL NOT. I WAS WITH THEM FOR 1 YEAR. STAY AWAY IF YOU DONT WANT A HEAR BREAK.STAY AWAY.

Horrible customer experience. After one month complaining they refuse to repair my phone! I have been a client for over 2 years, paying £13,49 a month. I also paid the excess fee of £90 to repair my phone. They received my phone, ran diagnostics, said it has no issues and sent it back to me. Done this three times after complaining each time, as my phone keeps turning by itself and I have to charge it 4 times a day. They refuse to even give me the money back from the excess fee. Ridiculous!

I have sent my iPhone three times within the last 6 weeks to Protect my bubble offices to get repaired. The phone is till not working. My phone was working fine until one day turned off and never turn on again. After the first time I sent it to get repaired, the phone would turn on but the battery would drain in minutes! After sending the iPhone three times, it still not working properly and they say they cannot do anything about it. Then I ask myself why do I want an insurance then? I sent a complaint a week ago, and they do not have even the decently to reply.
