“My machine failed in the same way as Chris Hannon's did (twice) in her review below, namely, the hydraulic system broke and the plate stopped retracting, rendering the machine useless. I noticed oil up and down the piston rod so I imagine the hydraulic seal broke. Whatever went wrong, I'm told it will now cost me $250 to ship it back for a free repair. For that price, I can buy a whole new 2 ton table top press. Oh well, expensive lesson learned.”
“I've had the Pure for a week. I purchased a refurbished one. I'm writing this review for anyone looking to purchase a higher end juicer to give my perspective/experience. *PROS: The Pure makes great juice, it's clean, crisp, and with nearly no pulp. The separation of grinding and pressing stages can be beneficial for certain non-juice things like butters. I love love love that it is all stainless steel, minus the press clothes (which your food/juice does touch and come into direct contact with, so semi-con there). Also seems like "the" juicer for Gerson therapy folks. ~ That being said, for me, that's about where it ends. *CONS: The Pure is messy. My number one biggest issue is the grid plates. When making juice with anything that has a fibrous makeup (kale, celery, ginger etc) I have to CONSTANTLY pull the plate out, and waste time cleaning it and unclogging all the fiber, plus use a skinny chopstick to get all the particulate that stick back behind the plate. While putting things into the feed tube, there is juicing slowing oozing out the front of where the grid plate slides in, plus kick/fly back out the feed tube from high water items (cucumber). Another annoyance is if I am wanting to do a semi-high volume (I'm talking 1L of green juice to last 36-48 hours here, not huge), I'm not able to grind and press all of the ingredients together. For instance, because the fibrous stuff causes so much grief and time consumption, I save it for last. So I begin with cucumber, apple, lemons etc. That gets pressed and I have juice, but without kale and celery or ginger yet. So the batch I make is not fully incorporated until I'm entirely done with all juicing at the very end. Even then, I've got to swap/mix different juice batches together so all veggies are mixed. When I made 1L, I had to to stop and remove the grid holder and plate 4 times, this was quite honestly annoying and gross. Meanwhile, my juice is sitting, oxidizing, waiting to be put into press clothes etc. If you don't operate the pressure properly, juice will spray out, or if there's a press cloth that isn't positioned just right (or super watery) it will slide off to one side and cause juice to leak out over the plate... messy. Then there's the massive amount of cleanup when you're finally done... brushing out each cloth, the plate, the feed tube, the grid plate and holder and yes, you need to pull the cutter blade off each time, clean it and clean all the gunk buildup behind it and pull of the O-ring and clean under it. I was displeased with how easily food particles get into the moving components of the juicer. To me over time this means potential problems. Hence, I'm now in the process of requesting to return the Pure (it's been 7 days since I bought it and had to do some digging on there website to find that you can return it within 10 days (that was not easy to find). I'm just hoping it is a painless process. I honestly feel that this is best for those who have to do/choose to do Gerson therapy. But if you aren't please go with something else, or at lease fully do your research and understand what your needs are. I plan to go with a Nama for the ease, simplicity, power, less counter space, warranty is 3 yrs longer, and cleanup. Good Luck, be well, and be sure to always search for discount codes before purchasing these things”
“I just bought it about a month ago and have used it just twice. The vegetables get heated up after two minuets using the machine and the shut constantly every 5 min has to be cleaned so that things will still go thru. I could make soup , it’s easier and get the same nutrition, because this machine heats the vegetables as you juice!!”
“I did not receive the juicer ordered from this company. They told me I was secured due to it being insured. When I connected with the owner of the company, David, he said he would be my advocate in getting this resolved. The owner did not get this resolved, did not file a claim for the lost package, and is now providing information to my bank that is inaccurate in hopes that the case will close in his favor and have me out 2k. If you don't want to encounter a similar experience shop with Nama juicer, or any other juicer.”
“I ordered a Pure juicer about 10 months ago. While the juice is fabulous, the hydraulic system has failed twice. After 5 months I had to exchange for a different juicer (which appeared reconditioned not new) because the press tray wouldn’t return to its original position and the hydraulic system was groaning. Now, the exchanged product is doing the same thing. This is an outrageously expensive machine and shouldn’t fail after five months use TWICE (one juice per day)! I am 72 year old woman so hauling this thing around is a big deal for me! AARGH!”
“The Pure Juicer is simply the best...above that, Anna is THEE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. She is attentive, very knowledgeable and very helpful. I LOVE this product and this company!
Cheers and Happy Juicing!”
“Carrot juice coming out of this juicer is amazing: more yield and efficient extract.
The machine is simple to use, easy to clean. If something can be done about the
bits of fruits spitting out of the tube... that would be an improvement.”
“Hi Pure! I just opened my Pure juicer yesterday 🤗 I can't tell you how excited I was to finally meet this machine that SO many rave about!! The first juice I made was black grape juice......and WOW!!! The flavor was amazing!!
The machine is beautiful to look at and easy to operate!
Thank you Pure for making such an amazing health changer!!
God bless and keep up the good work!!”
“You really get to know your juice, with this juicer. I am more involved with my nutrition and am experimenting like a scientist. Learning to Love it. I think my husband is too. Sweetveggies!Cheer xo”
“I love being able to press a huge variety of vegetables and fruit, and store it in the fridge for a week. I don't use the liners, and find that I can minimize pulp sticking to the clothes it I juice the stickier things last. I am incredibly satisfied with my Pure Juicer and am very anxious to begin using the new ripstop clothes. Thanks so much for designing such a superb machine!”
“I purchased the juicing cloths. They work great except for when you load them with pulp, a lot of juice is left behind when you move them to the press. They drip a lot of juice out. Other than that they are great!”
“We got the product to peel our oranges quickly and it is extremely easy to use and does the job very well. We like it. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is that for the price (this is at the top, top end of fees for a product that peels oranges) the material of the machine seems a bit cheap.”
“I love my PURE JUICER! Very happy with the pressing process! and how well it extracts the juice out of the pulp. I really love that I don’t have to worry about how long I’m pressing! David has created a monster! Love love love the PURE🍏”
