“This was such an unforgettable trip on the Evolution and much needed as my first international trip during covid times. The staff was so professional and bent over backwards to make sure everything was clean and organized so we did not have a care in the world except to enjoy the galapagos and the cruise. Ceasar with the drinks, the very knowledgeable and friendly guides Bolo, Roberto and Monica, the staff Eli, Kevin, panga drivers, boat crew, that sanitized and especially the cabin elves that cleaned our room 10x a day, the variety of food, good and clean equipment, everything was above and beyond expectations. And the animals.. Wow, the access and unspoiled underwater adventures was just beyond comparison! Thank you Quasar for planning and organizing such a stress-free trip that we all loved and enjoyed! We also loved that Dr Diana was on board since our friend forgot her inhaler and she was able to get one, and eliminated all her stress! I think the most enjoyable was the friendships and respect / trust of everyone on the boat, too! Thank you!”

“The Quasar MV Grace trip through the Galapagos Islands was an event of a lifetime. Captain Jorge, Christian the boat manager, Javier the famous mixologist, the Chefs, the two naturalists, Walter and Hernan, and every other crew member provided extraordinary service to all the guests. Every day was filled with new adventures: swimming with sea lions and penguins, seeing exotic birds and other animals, hiking through the magnificent landscape on the islands. There was no down time. I could not rate the Quasar experience any higher.”

“The cruise was great and the crew was fantastic making certain we were physically able to enjoy the activities (we are older ). The ground transportation was very poorly organized. We had to get our own transportation to the airport from the hotel.”

Hello Jackie, Thank you for your review and we are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your cruise in the Galapagos with Quasar. We are sorry to hear about the transportation issue that you experienced with the Wyndham hotel in Guayaquil. This was a free shuttle provided by the hotel where you were staying and it appears that the first shuttle was full and therefore left before you arrived. This does not happen often, but it’s our understanding that the next shuttle came about 10 minutes later but you decided to take your own transportation to the airport. We've contacted the hotel about the issue so that they do a better job of explaining the frequency of the shuttles to all guests, and please remember that we also provide all our guests with a 24/7 emergency contact number that they can call anytime if they need assistance. “Absolutely wonderful. Very diverse group of guests ranging in age from 8 to 80 years old. Somehow the naturalists and crew succeeded including everyone and making the trip special for all. Amazing place. Exceptionally well organized. Great opportunities for viewing the wildlife without intruding on their worlds. Naturalists extremely knowledgeable, skilled and personable. Crew the same. Wonderful accommodation. Delicious food. Interesting briefings. Perfect blend of land excursions, panga rides, kayaking and snorkeling. Everything was great even down to the Covid-19 testing prior to our flights back to mainland Ecuador and the US. I cannot say enough good things about the trip and the people involved. I am recommending Quasar and "Evolution" to everyone and have already booked another holiday with your group. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation.”

“I have traveled all over the world on many tours. This was the best of the best. Great knowledgeable tour guides. Besides their incredible knowledge of the creatures their friendliness was exceptional. The entire crew were great. A fantastic trip. I would go back tomorrow . My number one trip. The food and service were five star”

“Quasar Expeditions did an exceptional job of designing a trip around our needs, budget, and interests. They assisted us in planning and booking a well-rounded, luxury experience that accommodated our desires to explore Ecuador's capital, the Galapagos, and Amazon rainforest. They were responsive to our questions and concerns, whether it be through email or over the phone. We found their pre-trip information documents and travel App to be especially useful. Overall, if you want five-star South American travel experience with service that puts your mind at ease, we recommend Quasar Expeditions.”

“Absolutely impossible to single out any one individual greatest funniest trip ever. The naturist were brilliant, food delicious. Was amazed the Captain up on deck assisting crew and welcoming us back on board , it felt like family right down to the panga drivers . The water bottle really keeps water cool , but would love to have more swag”

“Our trip was all kinds of awesome. Diane was exceptional in helping us gather information, answering questions, and taking care of every detail. We traveled on the Evolution Ship which was perfect for us. Our days were very well organized. Our naturalists Bollo, Soto, and Daniel were extremely well informed providing us with a wealth of knowledge. They did everything they could to make sure that we saw the spectacular wildlife while respecting the environment. I will without reservation recommend Quasar to anyone who is thinking of heading to the Galapagos. Traveling with Quasar was an AMAZING experience !!!”

“We had an AMAZING time!! The boat was beautiful. The staff was attentive and naturalist were engaging and made the trip so memorable. If I had to give any constructive criticism, an acknowledgement of my sons birthday would have been a nice touch (his bday is 7/26 but for a 10 year old it’s all month long!)”

What you experienced is certainly not common on our adventures. On our trip registration forms we provide a section to include the date for the celebration of any special events while on the cruise. “Traveling with a group of seven people, ages 9-75, could be very challenging. Quasar Evolution solved every possible problem, by creating the perfect travel experience. Cruising, by nature, can be fattening, boring, overwhelming, no fun at all. This cruise was the polar opposite. We were involved with activities from the minute we hit the boat. Because there were only 29 passengers, we met everyone right away, we had a group name for off boat activities so we always knew when and where and what. The food was healthy, traditional, tasty, using local fruits and veggies. We had a different, beautiful dessert after lunch and dinner, daily. The activities ranged from hiking, long and short, up and down, rocky and beachy, to snorkling, easy to very challenging with naturalists/guides who helped me personally and watched over everyone, kayaking which was so much fun because the sea lions put on a great show worthy of Seaworld. Each day's activities were posted the night before, with all the information we needed for shoes, clothes, time, etc. The night before a naturalist chatted, amiably, about some phase of Darwin's islands. Then we all walked to dinner. Drinks were great, sunsets were better than great, casual attire all the time. We all talked to each other, experiencing a slice of other people's lives. Children? Treated like gold. The kids were all pretty great, enjoying the same activities as adults. If a person did not want to go on an adventure, that was OK too. Best trip ever.”
