“What a wonderful experience. From the yacht itself, to the guides, the activities,the food and the staff -- could not have asked for more. This was not a relaxing type cruise but was an educational activity based week to learn and experience a place like no other in the world. And Quasar, on the Evolution Yacht, was the company that exceeded our expectations. We will never forget our Galapagos trip. Thank you again Quasar!!”

“This was truly a trip of a lifetime. Everything about Quasar's services exceeded my expectations. We had amazing guides for half day tours of Santiago and Buenos Aires, but the real highlight was our wonderful guide and the comfortable Toyota 4 Runner for 10 days in Patagonia. It was clear that she wanted to make everyday as perfect and exciting as possible. We could modify our plans if weather was a problem or if we wanted to do more or less than originally planned. Every hotel was comfortable and well staffed and located. Patagonia is beautiful but very remote. To truly enjoy the experience, you need to have a knowledgeable guide and a quality company behind you . Quasar is the best possible choice for such a trip.”

“My experience aboard the Quasar Evolutiion yacht through the Galapagos was exceptional. From airport transfer to sight seeing suggestions and to the finest of details aboard the yacht - amazing. The crew, the naturalist guides and Quasar support personel go above and beyond. Highly recommend!!”

“Our Quasar Galapagos Islands cruise on the Grace was a trip of a lifetime. From start to finish we had a wonderful time and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff on board the Grace was incredible, the accomodations perfect and the food was delicious. Most importantly, we saw so much wildlife, on land and in the water. Our naturalist guides were extremely knowledgeable and led us to some amazing sights. We were able to snorkle with green sea turtles, rays, hammerheads, marine iguanas, sea lions, penguins and flightless cormorants. We hiked among land iguanas, giant tortoises and our favorite, blue-footed boobies. We paddleboarded on glassy waters and took the panga in beautiful quiet coves. We would highly recommend this cruise to anyone who loves nature, adventure and beauty.”

“My husband and I had high expectations for our Quasar Galapagos adventure on THE GRACE YACHT and every one of those expectations were exceeded beyond our wildest dreams. What an incredible Bucket List experience. The ship and crew were simply devine. Incredible service delivered with such care in terms of thoughtfulness and competence. The accommodations combine modern comfort and tasteful design with a timeless classic, understated elegance. Food was off the chart delicious. The naturalists were so knowledgeable and fun. Every activity was incredible. We were sad to leave are new found family and friends, but brought back so many wonderful members. If Galapagos is on your Bucket List, the only way to go is with Quasar. From planning through your journey's end, they will guide you with great service. “We had an unbelievable trip to Patagonia that was perfectly organized by the Quasar team. Their attention to detail from the very beginning in planning this trip for our crew was amazing. We experienced a remarkable range of adventure-seeking activities including horseback riding, hikes, and glacier treks; all while taking in the most beautiful panoramic views of the Patagonia landscape. “So pleased with our trip to Patagonia and the planning and advice we received from Tasha & others at Quasar. They took their recommendations for some of our excursions and we tailored our trip to include others that interested us. We had a private tour guide (Victor) for the entirety our trip. Even when we experienced a weather-related postponment, he was able to fill the day with a perfectly acceptable option. Highly recommend Quasar.”

“Quasar was very thorough in every detail from the highly knowledgeable naturalist guides, the well thought-out daily tours and experiences, the daily discussions of the experiences, the accommodations and top-notch delicious meals. The guides really help you to "see" the finer points of each experience in a way we would not have otherwise been able to do without their knowledge. And the wildlife is astonishing, but even more so because of the information provided to us by our guides. One of the interesting things we learned is that because the Evolution is classified as an exploration vessel, it has considerable flexibility to pivot to see a different experience should something interesting and unusual occur such as a volcano eruption. The Evolution yacht is so beautiful and the wonderful ambiance it adds to the experience makes you feel as though you have stepped back in time. The top deck outdoor social/bar area was a favorite of ours for just relaxing, enjoying the scenery and the company of friends both new and old. One of the highlights for us was the Captain's celebration and toast surrounding crossing the equator. We are in our late 60s and felt comfortable with every activity thanks to our guides. We would truly love sometime in the next few years to return and take the second itinerary that Quasar offers to explore other islands in the Galapagos.”

“Had a glorious trip to Patagonia with Quasar Expeditions. The menu of activities (ranging from horseback riding to hikes to cooking classes to glacier expeditions) was superb and we were able to pick and choose those that best fit our activity level. That said, there was flexibility if we opted for an activity more strenuous than originally planned --- or wanted to do something completely different. Our guide was so knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to have someone with us to both drive unfamiliar roads and share her passion for Patagonia. We have never enjoyed a guide more in our decades of travelling! Needless to say, Patagonia is spectacular. You can't take your eyes off the glaciers, the fjords, the snow-capped mountains, the waterfalls. It's truly the trip of a lifetime. We highly recommend Quasar!”

“I cannot say enough about the trip that Quasar planned for us. Every detail was attended to and every activity exceded expectaions. Given all of the moving parts involved in a 12 day safari that spans two countries this is no small feat! When I describe the trip to friends I always lead with "Every day was a surprise!". Yes, we had a detailed itinerary but there just aren't enough words to prepare you for the expanse, the awesome majesty or overall experience of Patagonia. It was truly the trip of a lifetime thanks to Quasar's planning and execution.”

“I have been travelling for about 20 years now, taking 2-3 international trips per year from the US. My wife and I settled on Patagonia. The reason why we picked Quasar was the overland trips - basically self-guided trips in the Patagonia region. From the moment I inquired about it about a year prior to the end of our trip, it was easy because we were already told what to expect. If I had a question, Natalie or Tasha who I have been corresponding with gave me answers quickly and efficiently. The hotels that were picked were excellent. We were spoiled. We were relaxed. Even crossing the border from Chile to Argentina where hardly any of the border agents spoke English was pretty easy, because we were told what to expect. It was a wonderful vacation for 1st time empty nesters like me and my wife. I would not hesitate to recommend Quasar (Natalie and Tasha especially) for your Patagonia vacation.”

“I will preface this review by saying I travel internatiionally often and also use many full tour services. All that to say our experience with Quasar was the absolute BEST experience we have had from start to finish. In the planning stage the communication was excellent and the questions I was asked enabled them to create a perfect full experience for us. While traveling the app was seamless! It provided information and times and we were able to plan accordingly for each day. The guides we had were PERFECT for us (chosen due to my answers to the thourough questions during planning stage). Patrick, our guide in Patagonia, was exceptional! Even with our different styles and fitness levels, all members of our family felt like he was exactly who they would have chosen. He was adaptable and knowledgeable. All our drivers and guides were right where they were supposed to be and anticipated our needs. Every experience we went on was beyond our expectations and so unique and perfectly planned and executed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire experience - the ease of travel, the excellent personnel, and the amazing excurisions and activities. Everything was top tier and well worth the cost. It will remain a most memorable and positive family vacation due to the exemplary work of Quasar Expeditions! “The folks at Quaser (Tasha Williams and Natalie Baralesque) were outstanding in putting together the perfect Patagonia trip for us. They provided many daily options that we chose from. They were very easy to work with and answered our numerous (and sometimes constant) questions about details of the trip. Their responses either came the same day or the next day. They were a delight to work with. They also set us up with one of the best tour guides, Victor Mathus and a car. Victor provided daily, on site, further options for our hikes, excursions. He was most charismatic, friendly and knowledable. He provided us with hiking poles, snacks, first aid, hot tea, water - and basically anything we needed in the remote areas of Patagonia. Then there were two other excellent guides that joined in areas, Juan (last name?) and Lucia Guia. Overall Quasar is a ten out of ten. Highly recommended. They would be my first choice go to, for another trip.”

“We had an amazing week over the Christmas holidays. Everything was seamless- from being met at the gate on arrival until getting dropped back off at the Quito airport. The guides on our trip were all outstanding and each of them contributed something a little different, but all equally good. The photo opportunites were endless and we enjoyed the variety of activities- snorkeling with the seals was our all-around favorite! An added bonus was the other families on board where all lovely and our teens really enjoyed socializing with the other teens on board.”

“We loved our Patagonia trip with Quasar Expeditions. We did the 11-Day Guided Safari. Our guide, Tanya, was incredible! She was very professional, personable, knowledgeable about Patagonia, the wildlife and all the flora and fauna. Tanya was also able to be flexible with our itinerary at the last minute because of weather and quickly change it. I would 100 percent recommend this trip to anyone.”

“Our trip to the Galápagos Islands and the Highlands of Ecuador made me speechless. Quasar took care of all our arrangement (cruise and land) and I can't praise them with a high enough score. From the moment we walked off the plane in Quito to the moment we walked back into the Quito airport, everything was taken care of. The cruise itself was amazing and the crew was outstanding. There were only 30 guests on the Evolution and 3 guides. They were a wealth of information about anything Galapagos and made sure our safety was a priority. Kudos to Bolo, Christina and Rogelio, our amazing and patient guides. All expeditions were on time and well planned out. Meeting in the lounge every evening around 7:00, summarizing what we saw that day and informing us of what was to come the following day. We saw a huge assortment of animals, on land and in the water. We took a 2 day/1 night side trip to the Highlands after the cruise and loved everything we saw. Quasar arranged it all and provided us with our own guide and driver, which allowed us to customize the itinerary. Maria and Frank were the best. The additional days in the Highlands is well worth it. Stunning country and fun to see the markets, indigenous people and the culture of the area. Lots of memories and still processing our trip.”
