“We loved our Patagonia trip with Quasar Expeditions. We did the 11-Day Guided Safari. Our guide, Tanya, was incredible! She was very professional, personable, knowledgeable about Patagonia, the wildlife and all the flora and fauna. Tanya was also able to be flexible with our itinerary at the last minute because of weather and quickly change it. I would 100 percent recommend this trip to anyone.”

“Our trip to the Galápagos Islands and the Highlands of Ecuador made me speechless. Quasar took care of all our arrangement (cruise and land) and I can't praise them with a high enough score. From the moment we walked off the plane in Quito to the moment we walked back into the Quito airport, everything was taken care of. The cruise itself was amazing and the crew was outstanding. There were only 30 guests on the Evolution and 3 guides. They were a wealth of information about anything Galapagos and made sure our safety was a priority. Kudos to Bolo, Christina and Rogelio, our amazing and patient guides. All expeditions were on time and well planned out. Meeting in the lounge every evening around 7:00, summarizing what we saw that day and informing us of what was to come the following day. We saw a huge assortment of animals, on land and in the water. We took a 2 day/1 night side trip to the Highlands after the cruise and loved everything we saw. Quasar arranged it all and provided us with our own guide and driver, which allowed us to customize the itinerary. Maria and Frank were the best. The additional days in the Highlands is well worth it. Stunning country and fun to see the markets, indigenous people and the culture of the area. Lots of memories and still processing our trip.”

“I have been on many vacation adventures during my life time, but I have never experienced one as well organized and executed as my recent Quito, Ecuador and Galapogos Island trip with Quasar. From the moment I arrived in Quito and was met at the top of the jetway by a Quasar representative, to when I said goodbye to my fellow adventures and the crew of the M/V Evolution the experience was seemless and flawless. The Evolution crew and guides went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable & memorable. The food service rivaled the large cruise lines or a fine dining restaurant. Everything was perfect!”

“We had a wonderful time on this trip. The yacht, Grace, had all the old world charm I’d hoped for, with a the modern amenities to make it comfortable. The naturalists were as good as could be, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were the oldest couple on the cruise (72 and 74) , but were able to keep up on the hikes and participated in most of the snorkeling. An all around wonderful experience.”

“This was an overwhelmingly unique and positive experience! The entire setup suited us, with various guided activities several times a day. The guides were highly knowledgeable and felt very engaged. We received good information beforehand and knew what to expect on each island we visited. All the crew on the boat were very attentive to our well-being and were flexible and helpful. The most unique aspect of the trip was how close we got to all the different animals and the knowledge shared by the guides. This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I highly recommend it at every opportunity. Thank you!!”

“Truly the trip of a lifetime! My husband and I didn't go away without the kids for 24 years, and this was the trip we finally took on our own. It exceeeded our expectations, and we were totally spoiled! The ship, and the crew were both wonderful. The naturalist guides were amazing as well. We love the adventures of snorkeling with Sea Lions, Sea Turtles, Sharks, Rays and countless fish! The land walks were like being put into a modern Jurrasic Park adventure! The birds, iguanas, lizards were all aplenty and had not a care at all that humans were there. Of course the land toroises were a treat as well. The food, company and service were all top notch. “Land portions were very good. The Evolution needs work, tired, worn, dated. Dietary needs were, at times, honored. One guide left his group by themselves in the water snorkeling because he was "cold". This was a safety concern to me. This happened three times. Food was above average. Captain was very good. Cruise director was very good.”

“We had an amazing trip on the Evolution! Everything was well-organized and service on board was exceptional. It was a great blend of adventure and relaxation. Our guides (Bolo, Christina and Diego) brought us close to wildlife during the day, and we were treated to amazing drinks and great conversation on return (shout out to bartender Caesar!). The meals were incredible - tasty and varied - with caring attention to our kid's allergies. Highly recommend Quasar for a memorable Galapagos experience!”

“We recently complete a week long trip to the Galapagos on the M/V Evolution. We were well cared for from the time we arrives at the Quito Airport until we returned a week later. The activities were many, generally 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. If you want to do everything there is minimal down time except in the late afternoon before the next day briefing and dinner. As a couple over 70 there were a couple of hiking activities we passed on. Snorkeling among the sea lions and turtles was a fun experience. Lots of different fish and crabs to view in the water. The sea lions were particularly playful and would even nudge you in the Ponga if they wanted to play some more. The wet suits, masks and fins provided worked well with the help from the experienced staff. Snorkeling was offered almost daily. An underwater camera is a great asset. After snorkeling, time in the hot tub warmed you up. There were times we could relax at the beach and watch the children make sandcastles or explore the length of the beach. Once back on board, the open bar was a favorite of the adults and the children. We were broken up into 3 groups and stayed together when in the Ponga. We became experts getting in and out of the Pongas (rafts). The expert guides rotated among the groups so you became familiar with all of them. The passengers were very friendly with our large group (18) as we mingled with them during meals and social time. Dining was both indoors and outdoors depending on the weather. Many different types of food were offered catering to the meat eaters and vegetarians. There is Wi-Fi available, but the band width is not great. When fewer passengers were on the ship, it was faster, but not speedy. There is no laundry service but there is a drying line with clips for all types of things at the front of the boat. But “everyone was in the same boat” Dress was very casual. Certainly recommend the trip with Quasar vs a land based trip with day trips to the islands.”
