“I cannot say enough about the trip that Quasar planned for us. Every detail was attended to and every activity exceded expectaions. Given all of the moving parts involved in a 12 day safari that spans two countries this is no small feat! When I describe the trip to friends I always lead with "Every day was a surprise!". Yes, we had a detailed itinerary but there just aren't enough words to prepare you for the expanse, the awesome majesty or overall experience of Patagonia. It was truly the trip of a lifetime thanks to Quasar's planning and execution.”

“I have been travelling for about 20 years now, taking 2-3 international trips per year from the US. My wife and I settled on Patagonia. The reason why we picked Quasar was the overland trips - basically self-guided trips in the Patagonia region. From the moment I inquired about it about a year prior to the end of our trip, it was easy because we were already told what to expect. If I had a question, Natalie or Tasha who I have been corresponding with gave me answers quickly and efficiently. The hotels that were picked were excellent. We were spoiled. We were relaxed. Even crossing the border from Chile to Argentina where hardly any of the border agents spoke English was pretty easy, because we were told what to expect. It was a wonderful vacation for 1st time empty nesters like me and my wife. I would not hesitate to recommend Quasar (Natalie and Tasha especially) for your Patagonia vacation.”

“I will preface this review by saying I travel internatiionally often and also use many full tour services. All that to say our experience with Quasar was the absolute BEST experience we have had from start to finish. In the planning stage the communication was excellent and the questions I was asked enabled them to create a perfect full experience for us. While traveling the app was seamless! It provided information and times and we were able to plan accordingly for each day. The guides we had were PERFECT for us (chosen due to my answers to the thourough questions during planning stage). Patrick, our guide in Patagonia, was exceptional! Even with our different styles and fitness levels, all members of our family felt like he was exactly who they would have chosen. He was adaptable and knowledgeable. All our drivers and guides were right where they were supposed to be and anticipated our needs. Every experience we went on was beyond our expectations and so unique and perfectly planned and executed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire experience - the ease of travel, the excellent personnel, and the amazing excurisions and activities. Everything was top tier and well worth the cost. It will remain a most memorable and positive family vacation due to the exemplary work of Quasar Expeditions! “The folks at Quaser (Tasha Williams and Natalie Baralesque) were outstanding in putting together the perfect Patagonia trip for us. They provided many daily options that we chose from. They were very easy to work with and answered our numerous (and sometimes constant) questions about details of the trip. Their responses either came the same day or the next day. They were a delight to work with. They also set us up with one of the best tour guides, Victor Mathus and a car. Victor provided daily, on site, further options for our hikes, excursions. He was most charismatic, friendly and knowledable. He provided us with hiking poles, snacks, first aid, hot tea, water - and basically anything we needed in the remote areas of Patagonia. Then there were two other excellent guides that joined in areas, Juan (last name?) and Lucia Guia. Overall Quasar is a ten out of ten. Highly recommended. They would be my first choice go to, for another trip.”

“We had an amazing week over the Christmas holidays. Everything was seamless- from being met at the gate on arrival until getting dropped back off at the Quito airport. The guides on our trip were all outstanding and each of them contributed something a little different, but all equally good. The photo opportunites were endless and we enjoyed the variety of activities- snorkeling with the seals was our all-around favorite! An added bonus was the other families on board where all lovely and our teens really enjoyed socializing with the other teens on board.”

“We loved our Patagonia trip with Quasar Expeditions. We did the 11-Day Guided Safari. Our guide, Tanya, was incredible! She was very professional, personable, knowledgeable about Patagonia, the wildlife and all the flora and fauna. Tanya was also able to be flexible with our itinerary at the last minute because of weather and quickly change it. I would 100 percent recommend this trip to anyone.”

“Our trip to the Galápagos Islands and the Highlands of Ecuador made me speechless. Quasar took care of all our arrangement (cruise and land) and I can't praise them with a high enough score. From the moment we walked off the plane in Quito to the moment we walked back into the Quito airport, everything was taken care of. The cruise itself was amazing and the crew was outstanding. There were only 30 guests on the Evolution and 3 guides. They were a wealth of information about anything Galapagos and made sure our safety was a priority. Kudos to Bolo, Christina and Rogelio, our amazing and patient guides. All expeditions were on time and well planned out. Meeting in the lounge every evening around 7:00, summarizing what we saw that day and informing us of what was to come the following day. We saw a huge assortment of animals, on land and in the water. We took a 2 day/1 night side trip to the Highlands after the cruise and loved everything we saw. Quasar arranged it all and provided us with our own guide and driver, which allowed us to customize the itinerary. Maria and Frank were the best. The additional days in the Highlands is well worth it. Stunning country and fun to see the markets, indigenous people and the culture of the area. Lots of memories and still processing our trip.”

“I have been on many vacation adventures during my life time, but I have never experienced one as well organized and executed as my recent Quito, Ecuador and Galapogos Island trip with Quasar. From the moment I arrived in Quito and was met at the top of the jetway by a Quasar representative, to when I said goodbye to my fellow adventures and the crew of the M/V Evolution the experience was seemless and flawless. The Evolution crew and guides went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable & memorable. The food service rivaled the large cruise lines or a fine dining restaurant. Everything was perfect!”

“We had a wonderful time on this trip. The yacht, Grace, had all the old world charm I’d hoped for, with a the modern amenities to make it comfortable. The naturalists were as good as could be, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were the oldest couple on the cruise (72 and 74) , but were able to keep up on the hikes and participated in most of the snorkeling. An all around wonderful experience.”

“This was an overwhelmingly unique and positive experience! The entire setup suited us, with various guided activities several times a day. The guides were highly knowledgeable and felt very engaged. We received good information beforehand and knew what to expect on each island we visited. All the crew on the boat were very attentive to our well-being and were flexible and helpful. The most unique aspect of the trip was how close we got to all the different animals and the knowledge shared by the guides. This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I highly recommend it at every opportunity. Thank you!!”
