“The crew and naturalists were wonderful, the food was great, the bar was superb, and the activities were non-stop. The Grace rooms were wonderful and the common areas spacious and comfortable. The wildlife, snorkeling, views and kayaking were as advertised. A great experience. It truly was an adventure and not a vacation.”

“Quasar organized the trip of a lifetime. Everything was taken care of from shuttles to airport transfers to flights...you name it. The Grace was beautiful. I was traveling with my son so we shared a room but it was spacious and comfortable and conveniently positioned for all things. The crew was incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic, our cabins were stealthily attended and even the captain participated in our daily excursions. Our expedition guides made everything fun, but they were also incredibly informative. I loved it all and can't say enough about the trip, the boat, the people and Quasar”

“The crew and staf f were great. Ariana, our cruise director, was kind and lovly. Naturalists were interesting as were all the islands visited. My dietary restrictions were not met, not at all. And, I suffered in the toilet for it. The cook and chef should have read my concerns and provided a solution. Another passenger had issues worse than I. We are not so fond of group tours so I mostly kept quite. Some had displayed a propensity towards the right wing but I remained tight lipped polically. The boats rocking and rolling made me think, as an after thought, that the ship was not as calm as, say, a wider more stable craft with double hulls.I”

However, I am genuinely sorry to hear that your dietary restrictions were not met adequately. Our chefs are always very attentive to such needs and usually receive great compliments for their ability to accommodate various dietary requirements as you can read on the many other reviews about our food on this platform. They were indeed aware that you do not consume whole corn kernels, mayonnaise, cream or buttery sauces, and prefer very few fried foods. It's disappointing to hear that this attention did not meet your expectations this time, and we apologize for any discomfort this may have caused you. Regarding the ship's stability, I want to clarify that catamarans are not inherently more stable when navigating rough seas compared to our monohull vessels equipped with stabilizers. The Galapagos experienced particularly rough seas during your trip, which contributed to the increased rocking and rolling you felt. We understand how this can affect your comfort and appreciate your patience during such conditions. While we strive to make each cruise as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, it seems we fell short during your trip. We take all feedback seriously and will use your comments to improve our services. “This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Really enjoyed the intimacy and personal attention we got on a ship with just 16 passengers. The guides, Walter and Diego, were outstanding. They took us to all the right places to see the incredible wildlife on the land, in the air, and in the sea. The food was also excellent. Would highly recommend Quasar.”

“Quasar exceeded my expectations! This was a trip of a lifetime, and yes, you should go. Each day we didn't think it could get any better and then it did. Every detail was taken care of from meeting us at the airport to getting us to the yacht and finding our luggage in our stateroom. The staff/crew of the Evolution are very friendly and helped with every need, especially my dietary needs. The Galapogos Islands are magical. The animal and plant life there are unlike anywhere else. The blue footed boobies, the marine iguana, the lava lizards, the albatros, the hawks, the dolphins, sea lions, pilot whales, and different sharks were just a few of what we saw. I have so many favorites that it's difficult to pick just one, but swimming/snorkeling with dolphins and sea lions was at the top. However, seeing a volcano erupting from 150 yards away was beyond amazing too.”

“Our family of four had the most incredible experience with Quasar on board The Grace Yatch. For us, this experience extended beyond wildlife watching; it was an educational journey that helped us learn and appreciate our beautiful and fragile ecosystem even more. The biologists on board were outstanding and incredibly knowledgeable, providing insights into the rich biodiversity and geological formations that make this destination so unique. This unique ecosystem supports a variety of species, from the giant Galápagos tortoises to the playful sea lions, an activity that we enjoyed very much. The islands offered numerous opportunities for daily guided tours and snorkeling. The meals were amazing, and the staff was very friendly. This was an unforgettable trip. “Absolutely amazing experience! Quasar did a spectacular job from beginning to end. The hikes, snorkeling and sea kayaking were fantastic. The enthusiam of our naturalists Diego and Lola was infectious and their knowledge added greatly to our experience. Chef and food was outstanding. Highly recommend Quasar to anyone considering going to the Galapagos. We had so much fun that we are planning on going to the northern route after our southern route experience!”

“Hands down the most incredible animal encounters I've ever experienced in the wild in the most breathtaking of islands. Each island offered unique sand, terrain and wildlife with surprises around each corner. The guides were magnificent and extremely knowledgeable.”

“The crew/staff on board the ship " Evolution" were extraordinary! They knew everyone by name and accommodated all of our individual needs. They were warm, inviting and extremely organized. We never met anyone who was not there to listen and address our questions. The naturalists were so informative and interesting I was always looking forward to the next outing! From the moment we landed @ the Quito airport till we boarded the plane back home everything they promised was executed. I felt safe and in the best of hands. The food was fabulous, too!
