“A truly excellent travel experience. The planning stage was superlative and both segments of my trip, the Galapagos and Sacha Lodge, far exceeded my expectations. “Our trip of a lifetime to the Galápagos Islands on the the Evolution was spectacular. The service aboard the ship was just wonderful. There was nothing they wouldn’t do to make you feel comfortable. The food was delicious ! Anything you wanted they would accommodate you. The naturalists were just great. They knew everything and went out of their way to make sure you saw everything. It was such a special trip and we were lucky enough to have such a wonderful group aboard to share the experience with. Thank you all for a very special trip”

“Quasar planned our two week vacation to Chile for us.In preparation, they asked us in detail about our preferences for sites and experiences. They listened carefully, proposed options and implemented all our choices.We picked three areas in the country on which to focus and Quasar provided both terrific accommodations and outstanding guides who made each stop a comprehensive, inclusive exposure to the people and places. The Corona virus burst on the scene just as we were starting our trip. We ran into many other travelers whose plans were crushed by cruise or flight cancellations or requirements by their governments that they come home immediately. Our timing was extremely fortunate; the only direct impact for us was the closure of the National Parks which were to be two days of our Patagonia stay. Our guide, Trisha, took advantage of close friends she had in the area and drove us into their lands to observe, and participate, in the sheep ranching estancias of her friends. And she took us to park-adjacent areas of beautiful countryside, rivers and falls where our desired photographic opportunities abounded! We also met the people she knew and felt the warm hospitality they extended. Trisha's knowledge of the area and quickness to adapt our program to these unforeseen events meant that our trip was not substantially affected. The timing was so tight that the last two hotels we stayed in were closing the day of our departure due to the crisis. Our fortune held as our flights home were unaffected and we completed our vacation with so many wonderful experiences and memories. Quasar kept checking in to see if we felt we needed to change our plans, and supported Trisha as she adapted our schedules when we chose to stay. We would welcome another opportunity to work with Quasar on the next vacation!”

“I cannot praise Quasar enough for making our trip to the Galapagos as perfect as could be. Everything about the experience was five-stars, from first email contact through the last goodbyes at the airport. Before the trip we experienced the best in customer service and thoughtful planning, preparing us for every step of the process. Once on the trip, the naturalists were extremely knowledgeable and experienced; the crew was professional, friendly and gracious. As vegans we were feted with specially prepared dishes at every meal, an extra effort we could not have anticipated and impressed us deeply. It was the trip of a lifetime.”

“I went on the same boat last October and booked again because every single aspect of the trip exceeded my expectations. The itinerary and staff ratio led me to book the first time, but the food, accommodations, and crew made it an easy choice for trip #2. The islands are wildly different depending on the season, I definitely recommend going more than once! The guides are excellent and the small groups lend to not only seeing the animals up close but also amazing pictures. If you're into focusing on the scenery other guests are always glad to share photos (airdrop saved me this trip as I left my DLSR at home). I've done both trips solo but would also return for a 3rd (or more!) trip with a friend or my boyfriend. I'm sure a +1 would be great but as for solo trips, booking with Quasar is by far my favorite. The other guests are good fun and every detail is handled making this the most refreshing week ever. I love that there is no guest phone/wifi service on the boat, I hope that never changes. Food is excellent. I'm vegetarian and was very impressed with their attention to detail and always having separate plates for those of us with dietary requirements/preferences. I requested almond milk and on the first breakfast I was promptly brought a glass before I could even pour my coffee. Outside of the boat, Quasar's level of service is remarkable. I (half-joking) emailed Diane for a local orthodontist recommendation since I melted my retainer on day one of my week prior to the cruise, when they didn't catch me at the hotel - they called my guide en route to our excursion with an appointment scheduled that day. I was impressed but not surprised given their excellence with every other detail of my previous trip. Speaking of recs, Diane's suggestion to stay at Hacienda Jimenita the week before my cruise was also wonderful and I would definitely stay there again! I didn't even have to think of my flight, Quasar organized everything with the hotel for my transfer and pickup time. I cannot imagine visiting the Galapagos with anyone other than Quasar and have recommended them to all of the friends and coworkers that have asked about my trip.”

“Quasar Expeditions far exceeded all of our expectations for our week-long Galapagos cruise on M/Y Grace. The classically designed yacht was impeccably maintained, the suite spacious, the food delicious, and travel connections and bookings seamless. The most extraordinary part of our experience, however, were the Quasar travel consultants, the crew aboard M/Y Grace, and the two Naturalist Guides who enlightened us and helped us to share their love for the Galapagos Islands. From start to finish, the Quasar team made us feel like family. We would absolutely travel with Quasar Expeditions again in the future, in fact, we're currently deciding the dates for our next Galapagos cruise on M/Y Grace.”

“All Quasar staff members attend to any detail that one might encounter when traveling.Upon arrival of our flights, there was always someone to meet us at the arrivals gate with resources and staff to get us to our hotel. Drivers were all very personable, knowledgeable, and prompt. Tour guides were very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Food provided was excellent. Accommodations booked by Quasar staff were excellent. We really appreciated the expertise of all Quasar did for us as we journeyed through Peru, the Amazon, and the Galapagos. It was a very memorable trip of a lifetime. We would truly welcome the opportunity to travel with Quasar again to any of their destinations.”

“We found everything to be excellent--the crew, the food, the itinerary and especially the guides. We're hoping to do it again in the not too distant future with even more family. One thing that would be nice is a list of passenger names (just first names would work) and maybe where they are from. If the passengers would be agreeable, it would really help in learning the 25+ names in shorter time. Sometimes we could remember one of the couple's names but not the other. Or we might remember where they were from but couldn't remember the names. (This is what happens when you are transporting mostly older people with shorter memories).”

“Tasha Williams's recommendations for activities and accommodations were spot on. Both Tasha and Martin Munoz were responsive to all of my queries in an expeditious manner and most pleasant. I felt Tasha understood my expectations and delivered. The only reason I didn't rate my experience as excellent is that I felt they didn't need to schedule private transportation with an interpreter for me from the Tierra Patagonia to the airport when the hotel already provided the service. Although it is an excellent example of their attention to detail, it was totally unnecessary.”

Shared transfers offered through the properties such as Tierra Patagonia, offer a limited schedule, which do not always fit all flight departures.
