“The 7 days were wonderful Alex was a superb guide, with incredible knowledge. Meals were excellent. Michelle was an excellent hostess, and all the crew were very very good. Nellie kept our cabins really clean. We were most disappointed with the $200 per person drinks charge . Only Sauvignon Blanc , which we don't drink , Cabernet Sauvignon which we drink rarely , beer . No Chardonnay , Merlot , or mixed drinks eg Giin & Tonic which we especially Gaye drinks , which we had to purchase on top . Not explained to me and very poor value . Jimmy , our captain was excellent as previous .”

“I picked the boat because of the itinerary, but now that I've been on it, I'll gladly recommend it on all fronts. The boat itself is beautiful, the suites are perfectly laid out, and the food was delicious. The crew were all warm and welcoming, and they where always ready and on time. Your adventures on the island will depend on your guide, but from what we've seen, Quasar is very good at selecting them. Ours was named Rafael and I can't imagine any guide providing a more enjoyable experience.”

“Our cruise on the Evolution was absolutely outstanding! The cruise staff and naturalists exceeded our expectations, and the activities and wildlife experiences were fun, interesting and educational. I would recommend this cruise to the fussiest of travelers and would most definitely travel with Quasar on another adventure!”

“Quasar Expeditions far exceeded all of our expectations for our week-long Galapagos cruise on M/Y Grace. The classically designed yacht was impeccably maintained, the suite spacious, the food delicious, and travel connections and bookings seamless. The most extraordinary part of our experience, however, were the Quasar travel consultants, the crew aboard M/Y Grace, and the two Naturalist Guides who enlightened us and helped us to share their love for the Galapagos Islands. From start to finish, the Quasar team made us feel like family. We would absolutely travel with Quasar Expeditions again in the future, in fact, we're currently deciding the dates for our next Galapagos cruise on M/Y Grace.”

“An unforgettable week! We are still talking about our incredible experience in the Galapagos - Footsteps of Darwin - in early Feb 2019. Absolutely everything on the Grace yacht was fabulous. The food, the accommodation, the common areas, the feeling of being on such a historic vessel - everything was outstanding. Even better were the staff onboard, who were so friendly, thoughtful and welcoming. Above all, though, the guides, and the well-constructed itinerary in this unique part of the world really made this trip unique. Quasar staff were so helpful from the very start of our planning process, and helped us through the pre-departure process, and all transfers, land arrangements organised by Quasar worked perfectly, as well. We travelled with our 2 children aged 10 and 13 and we all learned so much. I could not recommend Quasar highly enough and we can't wait to return to the Galapagos and Ecuador.”

“Our trip to the Galapagos was fantastic. There was not one thing I could think of that could have been better. The crew, the guides, the excursions, the food, the accommodations were beyond my expectations and my expectations were high. Thank you to Diane and Paul Schicke for being the best booking agents ever! I would definitely book Quasar Expeditions for any trip to South America and I would definitely refer my friends and family.”

“Our tour of the Galapagos couldn't have been better. Grace is a beautiful ship, and from the moment we boarded we were treated to a week of adventure and fun. Alex and Walter were excellent guides. They had the answers to all our questions, and shared information about the islands to make every stop so special. The snorkeling and hiking were well planned to give us the best experience possible. The crew took care of our every need. Rooms were cleaned several times a day, and the food was excellent. Our cruise director, Michelle, was a pro at keeping things running smoothly. The captain was very skilled and clearly concerned about our safety and comfort. We had a minor medical issue arise on the trip, and the crew and tour company coordinated to take care of the situation. It was handled so well that it barely affected our trip. I would recommend this trip to anyone.”

“Our trip to Ecuador and Galapagos in January was one of the best trips my husband and I have ever taken. It had the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, very knowledgeable tour guides and interesting travel companions. We were also thankful for all the planning and organization that Quasar put into making our trip a success. The hotels, tours etc were all great. Thank you to Quasar particularly Diane for making our trip flow seamlessly. We were so lucky to get it in before Covid 19 arrived!”

“We took the Overland Safari by Jeep tour of Patagonia with Alvaro as our guide and companion. Everything from the first enquiry was handled professionally and the each day was an unbelievable experience with each overnight accommodation providing comfort and an experience in itself. Our guide's knowledge and friendly assistance provided a complete package and many enjoyable hours as we covered large areas and saw nature at its best. The hikes we took were great. We consider it is an experience that we should do again one day.”

“I guess my email to my friends in the US and Australia said it all after the trip. I just had the best trip ever to date. We had the best crew, best boat, best guides hand picked from the owner for our group, weather was perfect, best food, more activities to participate in, if this is the standard of a small ship tour, I have had the best the first time. Everyone within our group would use the Quasar Expeditions for another tour with each other again. Words cannot convey the amazing 7 days. And the crew is so respectful of being part of Ecuador's Galapagos Islands. It went so far above what I could have expected. It will be hard for another company to have this standard. This set of Islands needs company's like Quasar to protect the islands while giving people an experience of the beauty and wonder of Galapagos for generations to follow.”

“Using Quasar was easy as they took care of everything in a very professional manner. From providing pre-excursion information to sending detail itineraries, accommodating any changes we wanted to arranging for all the small details - they are experts! The guides are all very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and prompt on pick-ups. We could not have planned or arranged such a holiday on our own! They had all the tickets purchased for trains, buses, exhibits, museums and excursions - all went smooth without a hitch!”

“I highly recommend Quasar for anyone traveling to the Amazon/Galapagos. Diane and Paul's knowledge of the area and experience helped us make informed decisions tailored to our family. They were always available. patient, and candid in their guidance. The Evolution yacht in the Galapagos was perfect - cabins, public areas especially sun deck, food, crew. And, our naturalist guides, Sam and Walter, were readily available to share knowledge and help everyone enjoy the experience. We had a mixed age group ranging from 12 to 70+. The teenagers brought great fun to the experience. Daily schedule was excellent with at least 1 hike, snorkel, plus other activities each day, with time for an afternoon rest and cocktails on the sundeck before the daily naturalist presentation and dinner. Don't hesitate to travel with Quasar - you'll be very happy!!”
