“I loved the style of this bag with the convenient flap-over close and the leather trim. I also chose it because the canvas body would make it lighter weight than a fully leather bag. Unfortunately after using it for 2 summers, about 10 months total, both back corners are worn through. It seems to be a function of how the leather meets the canvas, the stiffness of the leather and the softness of the canvas. I especially wanted to love this company’s products given that they honor women.”

“I love R Riveter bags and have bought them for many years. I recently bought mugs and wine glasses from Sean and Sam and it was fulfilled by R Riveter. There must be a lack of communication with Sean and Sam because I never would of received my items without many emails. R Riveter customer service was great but Sam and Sea was not and although their products are beautiful I probably won't order from them again or recommend them. Again their products are very well done but the process to get them was extremely frustrating.”
“The zipper on the outside pocket separated. I think it will be ok, but took a bit to get it corrected. Hopefully it won’t separate again. Otherwise I love the look of my purse.”

“I bought R.Riveter as a gift. My wife was impressed with the process of manufacture and the legacy that it represented. The quality of the piece itself is good, although I expected the hardware to be stainless or brass, all of the hardware and zippers are plastic. Most dissapointing was the presentation. There was no box, no attention to shipping or thought about the anticipation of what is in a branded container. Just a plastic bag like a pair of socks.”

“Unfortunately, the RRiveter Khaki brown purse received had a different strap than was pictured in the RRiveter photo page where the purchase was made. It was a gift and fiancé did not like the strap. So, it was returned.”
“I ordered the Dot and the Otto, both were not as wide as described. The Dot was 10 inches wide instead of 12 inches. The Otto was 10 inches wide instead of 14 inches. I love the purses, quality and style but they both were too small for what I wanted. Sent them both back and will try for the Dot in the future.”
“I like the purse, but have a couple of issues:
The strap is too long and even though I've adjusted it as short as it can be, it's still too long.
The zipper is not secured at the ends. The bottom stop keeps coming out of the purse. When I unzip the purse, I have to reach inside to hold the stop end so that I can zip it back up. Really annoying.”
“Love the size and the opening was great. I was able to see all my contents. But the canvas collected lint, the inside pocket was not enough for me. Outside pockets were fine but inside pockets are more important to me.”
