“Really like the chocolate and vanilla plant protein powders; higher in Leucine than many other plant protein powders on the market. Will try the post-workout smoothie mixes soon. Fast delivery a bonus!”

“I genuinely love all the meals that I’ve had so far and eaten during my multi day hikes from Radix. Each bag is light in weight, the meals are full of flavour and also have really good macros.”

“I liked the breakfasts, the berry ones and the apple cinnamon. I tried the Mexican Chilli and it was nice also but not the Smokey BBQ. Too flavourless”

“Absolutely love Radix. Have tried all plant based meals and working my way through all the flavours of plant based protein and smoothies. So far I love everything. A couple of months ago I wrote to them asking why they didn’t sell sample packets of the protein flavours to try… few weeks later and I get an email saying they are now available to purchase! Absolutely stoked I ordered them all 😁 these guys really do listen to what their customers want. Now it would be great to have a few more plant based breakfasts on the menu guys !”

“As a vegetarian, love these meals! Don't need to supplement with dehy vege as so many included. My only wish is that you formulate compostable instead of single-use packaging; I would rather tip contents into billy and avoid huge amount of waste created by packets - thanks”

Hi Stacey, sustainability is one of Radix's core values and we are always looking for ways to improve our packaging. Currently, our meals are recyclable under soft plastics recycling schemes in NZ. We continue to search for more sustainable packaging options however we must take into consideration the elements in which customers often take our food and the importance of packaging in maintaining a safe shelf life for freeze-dried products.
