I sent a question via their web site concerning a part. One week later they still have not replied despite an e-mail chaser. Tried using their 'Chat' system and got no answer just like their telephone lines. What a shower !!!!

Terrible customer service - has no phone number anywhere on website, sent out the completely wrong part and asking a million questions to try and avoid replacing it - stolen my money and are very misleading. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

The negative reviews say it all. My friend made a purchase but never received it. I am not sure if they have even got their money back. You won’t be able to speak to anyone. It is a faceless company. They only wished they read the reviews before making a purchase. They say it bit like putting a burglar alarm in after being robbed! READ THE one-star reviews Also read ransom spares - Google Search reviews Here are some numbers used by Ransoms, but none of them will get you to a staff member. 0844 9800 717 as shown on their warehouse – NOT IN USE 0333 300 1293 automated recording 01935 411247 rings, no answer as inbound is not available outbound only Via Cylex listing 020 8203 5765 rings, then hangs up! 0844 499 9111 – forwarding (UK national number) get an answerphone during normal working hours

Received my freezer seal yesterday, didn't send a tracking no. I was out for the day so it was left on the door step, didn't arrive by Evri, but by Royal Mail. I took it out of its box, flimsy thing, also instructions how to fix in all languages but English!! So it's going back and I need a refund awaiting instructions. They don't answer the phone, nothing but hassle.

A terrible company. Ordered a Hoover part on 9th December, ( now 25th Jan 2024) it still has not arrived. I have tried to contact them, no one answers the phones. The only info I had was that “ I would get an email” when my item was being sent out. You cannot speak to anyone and no method of contacting anyone in the company. I am going to my bank to have the money returned from their account.

@still waiting for my cooker gasket,ordered on 22/12/23 sent email a week ago said they would look into it tried phoning them back 3 times no answer . I would not have dealt

Do not use this company. All looks fine until they have your money. Can’t return parts that don’t fit or are broken. Returns website/ process just doesn’t work and their phone number, when you can find it just rings out and then cuts off. AVOID

I ordered an item on 31st December and paid next day delivery. It’s the 2nd of January and I still don’t have the item. So I need my postage money back

I WOULD NOT DEAL WITH RANSOME SPARES EVER AGAIN I ordered some cooker spares on line, which were in stock. I hadn't received an email after 5 days that the parts had been despatched ( they promise an e-mail after 2 days) Tried to contact one of the 3 phone numbers given on their web site 1 is never seems to be answered other 2 tell you to go on line. When you go online there is no e-mail address that gets you to Ransomes. You have to give all your details to another communications company who hopefully pass on your problem. In my case the part that was in stock on line, but apparently never was in stock. So some third party deals in a fashion with customer complaints. There appears to be NO contact available with Ransomes. So they are not able to rectify their own problems it seems. Poor customer care I WOULD NOT DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN

Very bad service, avoid them. My parts still haven't arrived in a week. Customer service to busy working from home and on the beach maybe to reply to you.

Had to chase my freezer parts after two weeks only to be told not available for another 5 weeks. Rubbish service, don’t use them.

Nearly two weeks and still no sign of the part, it should have been with me 10 days ago. No tracking number and no information on when I will get it either. The item was in stock and their website says 2-3 days delivery for an in-stock item. First they said it was to do with the Royal Mail strike but when I said there had been no strike they said it was to do with a third party's system error?!! Who cares, my contract is with Ransom Spares not the third party? Then I find out the parcel was supposed to be going out with the awful Evri, so nothing to do with the Royal Mail. I don't think they know what they are doing themselves. All I have received is a flippant response "we are currently unable to cancel or credit the orders but if the customer no longer requires the order then they can refuse the delivery or a return can be arranged once it arrives." Huh?! I strongly suspect the positive reviews are not genuine. I Will never use them again.

This company seems to have gone off the radar. I have tried calling them many times but they never answer. Even when you fill out the order with Ransoms parts numbers and submit you just get back a response tell you to fill out the form correctly. You cannot get hold of anyone. Now that’s a bad service . They also have many bad reviews. This company should shut down and take their name off the list of suppliers for anything.

Ordered a dishwasher part over 3 weeks ago. Still hasn’t arrived! They took the money immediately then e mailed me to say it wasn’t in stock ? Really ??? Bad company. Will never use them again .

The badly packed part was of inferior quality and consequently was a bad fit. A Returns form was missing from the package and my emails were not acknowledged. Undoubtedly my worst On Line buying experience

Waited for over 2 weeks for glass for my washing machine door, which states "in stock" when ordered. In the end Shannon from Ransom Repairs failed to answer my emails and still waiting for an apology. I've now gone elsewhere and had the part within 2 days. If I could have given no stars I most certainly would have!

This company does not tell you that it doesn’t have a part in when you order or that there will be any delay. They also take the money immediately which is no way to conduct a business. Very disappointed.

MUST be avoided, VERY VERY BAD SERVICE, SNAILS DELIVER FASTER THAN THESE UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. PLEASE DONT ORDER ANYTHING WITH THEM
