“Rapid is a great site that I use often, it's simple to use, most things are quite cheap and the delivery times are especially good, regardless of what standard of delivery I selected I've never had a package that didn't arrive the next day. I've used the site mainly for personal projects and it has been great for that but I imagine that it would be great for commercial use too.”

“I've used Rapid for hobby and contract work for well over a decade now, and even before that when it was more like CPC. Prices rarely increase for anything but the quality of components have remained steady. I have only had a couple of hiccups with regards to wrong parts being delivered, and on both occasions replacement parts were posted and arrived the next day (for free of course). They have been very consistent in packaging, and dispatch time - almost always receive the order the next working day, with free postage. Whilst they do not have the vast inventory of the likes of Farnell or RS, I tend to order the more generic parts (standard connectors, passives, consumables) from Rapid as it works out a lot cheaper, with the same reliability. Rapid is my default place to look for tooling, parts, and even some consumer electronics such as computer/consumer electronics cables, only ever needing to order elsewhere for really quite specific electronics. Their website is easy to use, provides specifications and datasheets where appropriate and is very clear on pricing and availability. Back orders for out of stock items is a handy feature, and they will email with an accurate estimate of stock delivery. All in all, cannot fault them. It is far better than Maplin for electronics (and even consumer goods) as they have a much large range, as well as being significantly cheaper.”

“Brilliant service from Rapid. I actually made a mistake on my order and could have ended up with a double amount however I contacted Rapid as soon as I noticed and they did the amendment. Delivery was within 48 hours of the order being placed. Couldn't be more impressed. Thank you for your brilliant customer service and a great customer experience.”

“Whilst your service and confirmation of order and shipment emails very good. Trying to find the right products on your web site is messy. I required a few resistors in a hurry, finding them instead of packs of 100's and 1000's proved time consuming. Being confronted with a load of trade names, most of which I have never heard of is not the best way of finding simple items. I normally use either CPC or RS Components but you had the right LED's for a small panic project . It only seemed right to order the resistors as well. Time consuming but the products are good. J.
