“I have used Rapid a few times but with great difficulty at check out sometimes not being able to even check out because of timed out function, however now they have change the system of check out I have had no problems so far, so I look forward to using Rapid even more. The have a good range of components at competitive prices and delivery is usually good even to the north of Scotland.”

“I ordered a Bresser Optik Biolux CEA USB Microscope for my 10 year old, who seems to be interested in such things, as I had seen good reviews of it elsewhere. It arrived promptly, as is the norm with Rapid, however it was fitted with a 2-pin "euro plug" and not the correct 3-pin UK plug. Not only is this not disclosed on the website, but I understand that this is contrary to the regulations governing the sale of electrical goods in the UK. I contacted Rapid, but had to wait 4 days and prompt them by email before getting other than an acknowledgement. At this point I was promised a suitable adapter by "courier". Two days later, the "courier" has still not arrived despite the fact that the original delivery took less 24 hours. I'm not impressed and neither is my 10 year old. I assume you won't use this review as you will filter out the bad ones, but you could prove me wrong?”

“Easy to use website with all components in stock and at reasonable prices, the delivery was fast and the order picking was accurate. The packing of some components could have been better, such as a transformer was just stuck in a polystyrene block, which had come out resulting in a bent pin, same situation with relays. But on saying that Rapid is often forgotten against suppliers such as Avnet, Farnell and RS and Rapid is well worth a try as a price competitive alternative.”
