It would have been nice to receive a new battery or at least to have been told it was second hand it is in worse condition than the one I have taken out of the machine

Rude woman with cockney accent took my phone order. I complained but nothing happened. She was still there two years later. Orders arrive in several batches on back orders.

I bough a few times from them and they are always too slow to ship. Last time i bough some solenoids on stock. After i payed i was informed by their website that some on back-order. I called and their sales person told me they are on stock but in their warehouse in Germany and they will ship them by priority as i paid for next working day. 6 days later i am still waiting for them. They have a good selection of parts but they really need to work on their logistics

I wanted to cancel my order so I could add something else without paying P&p twice but I don't think you can, I asked support and didn't get a reply.

Ordered some components on Friday afternoon. Received an email to say that they had been dispatched and hoped I would get them on Saturday. They arrived on Tuesday because in fact they had not really been dispatched until Monday! (I know that from the frank on the package). Very disappointing.

Order was split, no obvious indication on item page it would be. The only reason I went with you, was the exclusivity of the product. Farnell is superior.

I received my order a few days after ordering. One item was missing and one item that I did not order was included. I phoned Customer Services on the same day and they assured me that the problem would be sorted out. One week later nothing had arrived. I then emailed Customer Services repeating my problem. It is now two weeks since my order. No contact from Customer Services and no missing item plus I still have the incorrect item ready for collection. Very disappointed. I am a Rotary Club past President and this company was recommended by our Rotary District to supply items to many Rotary Clubs for our annual Youth Technology Tournaments. I could not recommend this Company to my Rotary colleagues.

I ordered 2 key-switches, which on the page description, the picture, specification and manufacturers part no. was a complete unit, so I ordered two of. the delivery arrived but only the front part(Key+Barrel) was present no actual contact parts were there. I contacted Rapid who said that it didn't come complete even though the website intimated this with the complete description, I was put through to Technical who also said it wasn't a complete part - they offered a refund! I wasn't happy but they wouldn't move their position even though their website said otherwise, so I decided that even though I thought they were in the wrong I asked to purchase "additional part" only to be told that they didn't have enough stock. This was Friday afternoon and then I had to try and fulfil what I needed for the following week from elsewhere. Not good customer service at all, am surprised that I received this review request.

Free next day delivery used to be ok with Rapid, then it gradually became very late end day, now 2 days later I am still waiting for the goods with no traceability.

A ridiculously large cardboard. Box for two very small button batteries that could have been out in an envelope at a fraction of the cost for P&P The batteries cost 40p each but the P&P cost £2.99 - ridiculous Very disappointed

Unfortunately batteries are legally not allowed to be sent by post due to them being classes as a hazardous product and can be flammable, therefore we have to send them by courier and package them in a cardboard box to ensure there is no damage in transit for health and safety. After 1 use of the cable rods the crimped ends pulled off at least 3 of the 10 rods.

I paid to have my order delivered next day, which it wasn't. On enquiring the order had been lost in their system! The staff then dealt with the problem very well, the order was sent next day delivery and they refunded my postage.

I bought a cork borer. Very cheap quality. It bent when I boring just second hole in the cork and broke when I was on 4th. I have used other cork borers before of very good quality than this.

Terrible (no) effort to establish relationship with us - we give Rapid so much business. Never once had a call from our account manager (would't surprise me if we didn't have one). Awful policy of handling fee (25% or something ridiculous) condsidering we may only have an issue with maybe 1% of our orders and again baring in mind the amount we spend buying Rapid products. Otherwise, stock range is fantastic and delivery is included and next day when in stock - that all is brilliant.

On latest order one item missing no indication of reason. I had to phone to be told it was on back order. However when I placed the order over 4000 were shown to be in stock. I was promised the item would be posted to me and I expected it to arrive next day, but it hasn't yet arrived. I'm not happy that so many of your products are now only available in larger quantities.
