Awful. No reply to emails, chat useless, technical department emails I was sent were the wrong address. Phone number refers you to chat. Just awful.

They use DHL for delivery. DHL are one of the worst courier services - and Rapid On-Line do - or certainly should - know that. My expected delivery never happened. Avoid Rapid On-Line at all costs.

Great idea and slick website designed to deceive. You wont get what you paid for and the company don't give a toss. I spent £45 on various bits one of which was a pack of three duct tapes, only it wasn't because they only sent one. They show the tape elsewhere as a single at £3.67. The scammers charged me over £7 for the one tape which makes it dearer than gorilla tape (amazing stuff)...all the other tapes were shown as singles and priced accordingly apart from this which muggins fell for. They offered to waive their 20% restocking fee if I told them to shove the incorrect order. They also show you prices without VAT which is illegal so are clearly about as slippery as can be. The chumps wont be seeing my money again. I'm sure trading standards would like to know too and I will be making a chargeback against the card.

Took over week to come to late for the YFC competition that I brought it for,usually I get second class post in 2 days 3 at the most. Also when the package was delivered to my daughters hand it was dirty with a foot print on it. I have photos. Likely the pulleys where not damaged.

Order was placed on line for collection. Was informed by email that it would be ready for collection in 1.5 hours. After a couple of hours I went to the Trade Counter but order had not been picked. Warehouse was phoned and told I was waiting. I still had to get the counter staff to chase again after about 15 minutes. Nobody seemed to be acting with any sense of urgency at all. I have never seen your staff move so slowly or with such little enthusiasm. Hardly "Rapid" Electronics.

Sent wrong items, then charged me extra for the correct item.Life is too short to waste time on companies like this.

I phoned to ask what process I should follow to allow me to get the Young Engineers Scotland negotiated discount and was told to place the order via email to sales (by a sales person) which I did. I then sent an email with the order in which I asked someone to contact me if this was not correct or there was information missing (30/1/17). But I had no response after two days. I emailed again (01/02/17) asking if I was following the correct process or if they needed any more information, but this email was ignored as well. After two weeks (15/02/17) I phoned sales again to complain and was told the emails would not have been ignored? So the person checked the original order and generated a pro forma invoice which I paid promptly and the order was dispatched that day. When the order arrived I realised that one item on the order was missing and one item sent twice, but that was partly my fault for not checking the pro forma thoroughly enough as the item was duplicated with two lines being repeated instead of the third item. I then ended up having to raise another order online immediately (without our discount) just to get the missing goods to arrive by the date I needed them. Altogether not a very smooth experience!

They have advised that your order was despatched via Royal Mail and due to their claims criteria, we are unable to despatch free of charge replacements until 15 working days have passed. After this has elapsed you can contact us advising that the goods have not been received and we will despatch replacements at no extra cost. Regards, Sam

I had to return one of the items I bought. I contacted the customer service. After about a week I received an email that they take 20% handling charge and I have to pay for the post myself. I could buy the that item from Amazon, a bit more expensive, but at least I could return it without any hassle, or directly from the main company. No more shopping from Rapid.

Absolute rubbish courier 3 attempts 1 squashed box of goods UK mail are ruining your buisness. I use CPC and will not be returning guys great prices bad delivery!

Update. Rapid contacted me by phone after leaving previous feedback. They will not refund postage despite parcel going to wrong address. Yes it is human error but it isn't what I paid for and therefore should not be charged. I have had to compensate the neighbour with a box of chocolates and an apology for the trespass into her shed! UK Mail or Rapid should do the same for me. Its called a gesture of good will Rapid! UK Mail delivered my items to the wrong house........... number 11 is nothing like number 3 is it? Apart from that Rapid are ok but they could have refunded the delivery charge as the delivery was so poor.

After buying a product as a guest user I was offered the option of making my account permanent. Being pleased with the prices I decided to complete the sign up process. Order arrived next day. Very happy so I went to order some more parts, I log into my newly created account only to find my account is showing the order details for someone else from 2013. How you've joined my account into theirs I don't know. I think you're potentially in breach of data protection regulations. Well over an hour chatting to customer services I get no where! Phone customer service the next day and after a long time chatting on hold (Tom was helpful but unable to fix it himself) I'm told customer service can't fix it and the web team would phone me back. 48 hours, still no phone call from the web team. Account now doesn't show ANY orders! I've wasted well over an hour of my time trying to get my account sorted so I can use your services again. Don't think I'll bother!

Items were missing from my last order, I've detailed this in 3 emails and the response has been to ask me what items were missing. My last email was ignored. Hopeless. I'll be going elsewhere in future.

I paid more for my next day delivery . But it has delayed for three days. I have contact staff both online and by calling which did not work at all.

I ordered 2 bottles of photo-resist. Only one arrived, and it was half empty as it leaked. The lid had cellotape around it so it must have been a return. very poor service
