I have received order details, invoice, delivery info for some one else's products. I have never ordered from you. I also was given the name and delivery address of a complete stranger- not good for data protection purposes!

my product arrived broken and after several email and photos sent, am still waiting for a new one. Have phoned into today and am waiting for customer service to call me.

They use UKMail for their deliveries, who are shockingly bad at a very simple job. The website was a bit clunky to use, but had everything I needed, but I won't use them again till they offer a choice of delivery companies.

So-called first class postage £4.79 to ship ten 8-pin DIPs costing £11.64. Ordered on Thursday, arrived on Tuesday. Farnell, RS and CPC charge far less postage and deliver within 2 days at the most, probably because they have the commonsense to send such a small packet by ordinary post instead of putting it in a disproportionately huge bag and sending it by an exceptionally slow (cheap?) courier. Next time I'll buy elsewhere.

the leds light but don't flash, have tried various voltages but no success. have checked via meter all joints ok.

The delivery service was not good. Having waited in all day for the scheduled arrival I was then told it had been delivered and signed for. This was not true. The staff I spoke to were polite but my order of a small item took 6 days to come and wasted a lot of my time.

Delivery service is good but the web site is rubbish. finding things is VERY difficult, you need a proper search feature like Farnel and RS has. Grouping the items into 3 random sections and forcing you to default to one of them makes this even worse. As a result of this I rarely use Rapid unless I cant find parts anywhere else

The problem is not with Rapid Electronics but with the courier (UKMail) that they use. According to the tracking, the delivery man arrived at 9:00. I was at home but he apparently did not ring the door bell and did not leave a note. According to the tracking, he then delivered the goods at a non-existing address to a person whose name is not known in the neighbourhood. No parcel turned up after checking with all my neighbours. Rapid sent me an email that they will refund.

Bad time to ask me I suppose since you have not delivered my item yet. Please investigate and let me know where my blowtorch is. A quick response will get you a better review response Mick Gavigan

I ordered a Bresser Optik Biolux CEA USB Microscope for my 10 year old, who seems to be interested in such things, as I had seen good reviews of it elsewhere. It arrived promptly, as is the norm with Rapid, however it was fitted with a 2-pin "euro plug" and not the correct 3-pin UK plug. Not only is this not disclosed on the website, but I understand that this is contrary to the regulations governing the sale of electrical goods in the UK. I contacted Rapid, but had to wait 4 days and prompt them by email before getting other than an acknowledgement. At this point I was promised a suitable adapter by "courier". Two days later, the "courier" has still not arrived despite the fact that the original delivery took less 24 hours. I'm not impressed and neither is my 10 year old. I assume you won't use this review as you will filter out the bad ones, but you could prove me wrong?

Multi-function meters used to come supplied with all necessary leads to support the full functions of the meter. The product I purchased required the purchase an extra USB cable to support the data logging functions (The software is included with the meter, so why not the lead!?) which I found irritating but begrudgingly purchased. To my dismay when I opened the box, the temperature probe was also not included and seems will also require a separate purchase. The batteries which were included arrived dead. The battery compartment may well be patented, but is nigh on impossible to access intuitively. This was the expensive end of the budget multi function meters and am very disappointed at the value for money here. If all leads were included in the standard meter retail price then it would represent reasonable, but not great value for money.

Paid nearly £8 extra to have the order delivered next day - it never happened! The delivery company said it was the companies fault - I don't know! All I know Is I had to wait three days for my order to finally arrive.

Despite paying for pre-12 and calling the sales team to complain when it didn't arrive, the best that the sales team could offer was a refund from a pre 12 rate to next day rate. I suggested that the right thing to do was to refund the full pre 12 amount as the goods failed to arrive until later in the afternoon. I was met with a refusal and to date I haven't had confirmation of any refund. Pretty poor service at any time, and as it was my first experience, it will be my last.

Promised same day dispatch on in stock item ordered late afternoon. Helpline couldn't explain why it wasn't picked until 11am the next day. Items are priced including vat on the web page. P&P is quoted less vat and is rather expensive for a small item.

screwed up the order, I ordered 10 off NE5532, you sent me 2, I ordered 2 off LM1458 you sent me 10. large box used, could have easily gone in a jiffy bag and thro the letter box.

Delivery was almost a week for just batteries and a magnet; plus all the batter boxes were damaged; yet to test batteries, though. Not to the usual standard.

Order was incomplete when it arrived. One item was missing. I called to report this and was told it would be investigated and I would receive an email straight away to confirm this. No email was sent. The next day I called again to report the missing item. This time more details were taken and I was given a case number. Another 2 days has passed and I've still heard nothing. I don't want an investigation, just a refund or for the item to be resent. Note: this was only a £4 item. I doubt I'll be using Rapid again based on this very unsatisfactory experience.
