Every time I've spoke to someone they tell me they'll get them mailed the b next day. Still waiting.... can't get them to even answer my calls now. Definitely DO NOT use this company. “Ordered couple pets back in December and they were never shipped. Always an excuse and fake promises. Asked for refund next thing I noticed I was double charged without notice. Promised a refund but of course more fake promises. Made a complaint with Bob and they didn't respond to them either. So I went through my credit union and got my refund. Reptile city and other names they use do not trust. Felton is a criminal and will rip you off your hard earned money. Seriously Buyer Beware do not buy from them”

Felton scams people out of their money and ignores BBB complaints. He needs to be stopped. If you have had these issues with this business you need to report it to the Texas AG and FTC.”

I ordered a bearded dragon from them. It came late but that was not the problem. He came to me sick with Atdenovirus, and I couldn't tell he was sick till it was to late. I will never do business with them again. I wish I could get a refund I spent 119.94 on October 7th just so I could receive it October 20th paying 4 day shipping just to have it die with a virus . Very heartbreaking watching a lizard seize out then die.”

“Baby turtles were great...when we got them. Initial order was short by a couple of turtles. Eventually, ReptileCity sent them to us, but they were sick and both died the next day. Got the promise that they would replace the 2 dead turtles...that was almost 8 weeks ago...then they sent one turtle. So now, 3 months after my initial order, I am still missing a turtle and am getting nothing but silence back from the company. Promises made and not kept is a terrible business model. "live guarantee" is only partially true. Overall, the healthy turtles were great and the sick ones sucked. Move cautiously with Reptile City.”

“I was skeptical about ordering from Reptile City due to the many bad reviews. Free shipping up to 30 days to ship. No problem. They shipped in about 15. Emailed me with tracking number. The shipment through USPS took 2 days. I was so upset about my decision to buy animals this way. Shame on me for ordering turtles through the mail. They arrived very well packaged. 3 very healthy turtles that started eating right away. Price was great too. Good experience!”
“I wish I would have checked online reviews prior to putting my order in. This experience was the most unprofessional headache I’ve ever endured. First and foremost, don’t expect to receive your animal if you order from Reptile City. I purchased a Bearded Dragon that qualified for the free 6-10 business day shipping. Low and behold after day 14 I could not receive a clear response from this company. When I called on day 10 a gentleman let me know that my ordered was being prepared that day (total lie, they were now marked out of stock on the site), I was skeptical but decided to see what happens. Obviously I never received any word back until I emailed stating that I would be opening a dispute with my credit card company if I did not get my money back. Almost instantly they respond to this email letting me know that they’re behind due to the corona virus, but they’d be happy to give me my refund which will take 3-5 business days. Six days later... nothing. I email yet again asking for some sort of documentation that my refund was issued or I’ll open a claim. I get another response that the refund was issued today and I’ll need to wait 3-5 business days. So basically the only way you’re getting your money back is if you file a dispute or email them every day. I understand these are tough times, but the lack of communication and care is not something that seems to be new to Reptile City based on their reviews, it’s always something.
Please, save yourself a headache and order elsewhere. I went to “Kids And Dragons” and received my order in ONE DAY. Reptile City only wants your money. Check their F rating on the BBB and there are many complaints identically to mine.”
“Super fast customer service and shipping. Ordered my yellow belly slider late at night received a call to confirm later that day and boom received my turtle, other over night shippers can still take a week to process. Great service Reptilecity!!!”
