Dear Mrs. Aistrop, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I wanted to investigate this matter further to ensure you had received the payment you were due. From our records, I can see that you should have received an M&S e-voucher on 17/04/2013 for £11. WE have a receipt from M&S to confirm that we did indeed pay for your e-voucher. The e-voucher would have been sent to you via email from M&S directly. We accepted 99% of the clothing you sent to us. They were of very good quality. It would be very disappointing indeed if you did receive compensation for your clothing. If necessary I can contact Marks and Spencers to see if they can reissue this voucher to you. Way too much stuff is turned down due to marks and bobbles. At 60p a kilo they should be accepting more. For example a worn item from fat face, white stuff or boden should be completely acceptable as that is how they are. If it was all from Primark then I would accept it, but I even had expensive jumpers from All Saints refused when they were still wearable. A jumper has bobbles after one wear! Wont be using again!

Dear Mrs. Stocker, Thank you for taking the time to review your Return to Earn experience. We wanted to reach out to you and discuss your comments as we are always seeking to improve our service. You placed two orders with us and had 59% and 87% of your clothing accepted in these bags. I can see that of the items which were rejected, there were several reasons which prevented the items from being suitable for purchase - namely heavy wear, bobbling, damage and staining. However we sell the clothing to be re-worn and as such, we are only able to purchase second hand clothing in very good condition. If clothing is stained, damaged or bobbled its value depreciated to such an extent that we cannot feasibly sell it. This is why such clothing is disqualified from purchase. We do try to make our purchase criteria as explicit as possible to potential customers. We provide our purchase criteria three times prior to collection - on our website, at the bottom of the registration form (where you must tick a box to confirm you have read them) and once more in the letter you received from us. i gave a bag of clothes and i didn't get the money. i was most disappointed. i had another bag of clothes but i didn't bother sending it because of what happened. at the moment im cleaning up and emptying my wardropes but im giving it to charity regards tina mehta

Dear Ms. Mehta, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Return to Earn. I am sorry to hear that you did not receive payment for your bag and as a result were disappointed with the service. I would like to explain why we cannot pay for bags weighing less than 10kg. Transporting the clothing is quite an expensive process. In fact the costs associated with transporting the items, can quickly outweigh the value of second hand clothing, which is quite low to begin with. If we do not receive at least 10kg of clothing, we actually experience a loss on our end. If we were to pay for all underweight bags, this loss would become significant and we could not operate. We do try to make the 10kg minimum as clear as possible to customers. It is listed on our website, in the letter which is sent with the bag and once more when the collection is scheduled online. We would advise all customers to weigh their bags prior to collection to ensure it meets this threshold. We will certainly take your comments on board and try to make it even clearer to customers that we impose a weight requirement. Furthermore, we rejected a number of your items which failed to meet our purchase criteria, due to heavy staining and damage. I have included a link to the photos of these items so that you may see why they were unsuitable. This is a SCAM - do not send them your clothes. Bag arrived almost immediately and collected by courier next day even though Xmas period........6 months later no cash, no response to emails and can't het through by phone as line ALWAYS engaged.

Complete scam artists ! Do not use! They rejected over 33% of my clothes claiming them to be over worn or dirty when thIs was not the case as a lot of it was brand new with labels wish i’d Just took the clothes to the charity shop they have only paid me a measly £3.74 for 30 kilos of clothes which I am stIll waiting for a month later

Out of 14 kg of clothes in good condition you only accepted 2 kg and I received 78p in total payment. You take forever to reply to emails. You are a rip off and I will tell my family and friends never to use you!

I recieved confirmation my bag was being processed back in August. After numerous emails with no response I finally was advised the bag had gone missing during the processing department. I was then told they would sort a payment out the following week however I’m still waiting and the company is not replying to emails. I would definitely not recommend this company as my bag was collected in July (nearly 5 months ago) and still no payment. They are a big scam

Bag ordered in 29/08/18 - collected 03/09/18 - after emailing bag was finally processed 15.10/18 - not worth the effort and very low payment. Would not recommend.

Actually it’s less than 1 Star! Shoddy service from the date my bag arrived 30/7/18, the 3 week process to award my e-voucher took 7 weeks. My account says I’m due an £8 e-voucher;despite raising a query, sending an email and unawswered phone calls I doubt I’ll ever receive what I’m owed. Avoid this company!!!

I would have given 0 stars if I could. They apparently lost my bag after it had been weighed and offered me a £7 M&S voucher!! What an insult I have no use for this and also they have been ignoring all my emails I would say to people DON’T send your clothes here it’s just a big con

This company is a complete rip-off. Please don’t use them they are completely dishonest. Shocking that they are allowed to operate. Awful reviews everywhere. Avoid!

Do not use this company under any circumstances, we can't all be wrong!!! 19.5 kgs carefully weighed became 15.47 kgs according to them. 5.65 kgs of clothing unsuitable - liars, the clothes were carefully sorted, clean and totally conformed to their strict criteria. Then the pitiful amount of £4.91 before the Paypal fee for all that......this company are operating a serious con. They must be raking it in for all the excellent quality clothes they are receiving from so many dissatisfied customers (Facebook, Trustpilot, here and no doubt loads of other review sites) and ripping off people left right and centre. Return To Get Ripped Off - please do not bother responding with one of your standard lying patronising messages - you are robdogs pure and simples.
