Easy to organise a bag then to fill and get it collected. Saved me trips to the charity shop and I received cash for items sent. Make sure the items you send are clean and in good condition. A good service.

Very slow service. Wouldn't recommend if you actually want to make money from your old clothes - in one 10kg bag I received £4.50, which is the average price one decent item could be sold for online. Will be doing this instead in the future.

Ordering a bag online was very easy, and arranging for it to be picked up was super quick. However I was disappointed that I liked your Facebook page and didn't receive the extra monetary amount because I don't have a laptop or computer, only a phone and iPad, which I think is very unfair. Also I still haven't received my M&S evoucher.

It was good to get some cash for clothes we no longer required. I was disappointed that some clothes were rejected when they were all either new or nearly new. Also very disappointed at the time taken to process the order (over a month) and the policy not to issue any further bags until the first is processed. We had to run nearly 20 bags of clothes to local shops as we couldn't wait for returntoearth to get back to us.

Great service in collecting items from your doorstep but need to improve the speed of turn-around from collecting to paying out. It took over 2 weeks for my clothes to be processed & didn't get an acknowledgement in that time to say they had even picked the clothes up!

Dear Ms. Clapham, The value of second hand clothing is quite low. We pay a very competitive rate of 60p per kilo. I see that you also took advantage of our Facebook promotion and received 70p per kilo of your used clothing, We do advise all customers to weigh their items prior to collection so that they can estimate their payment and ensure our service is worthwhile for their needs. Furthermore, we provide a free collection service from anywhere in the UK so that our customers do not need to go out of their way to find a drop off facility. You received almost £7.00 for approx 10kg of clothing, which is very close to the 70p per kilo rate. Very poor at responding to emails. 6 weeks on and no payment received as yet. So far I have very little positive to say except the bag arrived, the bag was filled, the collection happened...……………..the bag has been received...……….nothing since then

I have booked a collection and it took 2 weeks for me to receive not one, but two bags. So the timeframe suggested by the website was wrong. My collection was done as promised, and I received an email that my bag was received and signed for by Return to Earn on June 8. I have sent an email two weeks later to ask what was going on as the status on my online account still had not changes (very poor website maintenance); I have never received a reply to my email. I then called the phone number asking where my bag was, the person who answer could only tell me that I will get an email when it's processed and that the website will not be updated until then because 'it's not so advanced'. I asked WHEN this will happen and all she could say was 'within 2 weeks'. She was not able to tell me anything more. I finally received an email saying my bag was received on July 2. By my calculations, that is NOT 'within 2 weeks'. I was then told in another email that I will 'soon' receive a digital code for my payment voucher. It's been three days and I still haven't seen that. It might take another month until it comes-if ever. I will never deal with Return to Earn again. Very unprofessional.

I had to wait about 3 weeks for my bag to be sorted and 1 kg of clothes that they deemed were un-acceptable.

The customer service was ok at emailing back. But it sadly took 3 weeks for one bag to get sorted so I haven't bothered to order anymore. It's a shame but if your willing to wait that long then they do pay you. I hate to say it but I won't be using them again as it just was to long a wait :-( ... they were very polite each time I emails etc as a positive.

I was told to obtain a receipt from the courier for a very large sack of clothes yet when he arrived he had no ID and refused to provide any receipt so I had to email the company to confirm they had received my clothes safely. When I did finally receive an email I was disappointed that for a full bag of clothing (much of which was unworn items and NONE of which was stained, marked, aged,smelly etc.etc) I received around £4.00. In hindsight I wish I had taken the time to advertise a few of the brand new never worn items on e-bay and donated the remainder to charity as I am certain I would probably have earned more. All in all a very dissatisfactory experience.

From our records I can see that we accepted 90% of the clothing you sent to us and were paid over £7.00 for 11kg of clothing, which is the price we advertise. However I can see that you were paid over £7.00 for the 12.5kg of clothing we accepted, which is exactly the price we advertise. The value of second hand clothing really is quite low but we aim to provide a competitive rate of payment to our customers. We pay 60p per kilo of all items, which is one of the highest rates for a company of our kind. Customer Service was good (ie sending emails etc) and website was easy to use (ie for booking a collection etc) but I had a few bags collected with a lot of really good quality clothes, shoes, sandals, boots, handbags etc and feel I was paid very poorly for what it was. I weighed bags before they were collected but Return to Earn came back with a different weight and was therefore paid less than what I should have been paid. I will not be using Return to Earn again.

The clothing you sent to us was in very good condition and we were able to accept 98% of your items so we were surprised that you were dissatisfied! We do appreciate that you took the time to weigh your clothing prior to collection. We would advise all customers to do so, so that they have an estimate of the worth of their clothing. However our scales are very accurate, professionally calibrated and Trading Standards approved, so we are confident that they record an accurate weight. I HAVE USED RETURN TO EARN ON 3 OCCASIONS NOW. MY INITIAL 2 EXPERIENCES WAS FANTASTIC, HENCE MY CONTINUED BUSINESS WITH R2E. HOWEVER ON THE THIRD OCCASION I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE AMOUNT AWARDED - A FULL BAG (BURSTING AT THE SEAM) CONTAINING VERY DECENT CLOTHES AND SHOES EARNT JUST £2!!! WHY??

The first bag i sent i was offered a good/fair price for but the second and third bag i did not. I was told items were damaged and worn (which they were not, they were the same quality as the first bag!!) and i was not happy with the response when i complained. Complete con artists and i will not recomend this company to anyone !!!!
