Only really used for the trading app. Maybe suitable for beginners with small amounts, as only 22k is protected if anything happens to the company!! Also, they don’t give very up to date PnL or Unrealised Return figures for your shares and the latest news is virtually non existent, so latest information must be sought on other sites. They do not use an average for your share prices, but operate a FIFO system. So the profit you think that you might have if you have averaged you share price will actually be lower. Initially the help chat seems ok, but in the end it is all chat and no action. So if you have serious problems it is no good. I’ve had issues with the app where certain shares did not display the PnL that have been ongoing for 1 year, when I ask for an update the answer is always the same!! In conclusion, for regular traders there are better options to use.

I bought 2 lounge passes, you can't reserve the lounge you just turn up. But as I suspected I was declined entry at Birmingham Airport, they basically said they don't accept card entries like revolut, so trying to get a refund for the service that was never going to work. But as yet no refund.

I am feeling more and more unhappy with Revolut. It started being a quite good app and I felt more encouraged to used them instead of my traditional bank, specially for traveling. My experience is being so so as I am feeling unprotected with them. I travelled to Tunisia and I read on Revolut forum that QNB is the only bank that they do not charge commission/fee for withdrawal money. I looked for that ATM and on the screen I was no indicated that they would charge. I found out days after that I have been charged £2.53 extra fee. I contacted to Revolut team/customer service and they said there is nothing they can do. So unhappy and unprotected.

QUINTELINTELLIGENCELTD. COM is excellent and amazing, Even though my loss was less than it would cost to recover my funds, QUINTELINTELLIGENCELTD. COM was still helpful and quick at responding, They gave me a free guide to try to recover my money on my own. I am so thankful they were able to give me some sort of solution and also helping in recovering all my lost funds I give them 5 stars

After verification, the account is deleted without explaining the reasons. I tried to create an account 2 times and the account was deleted 2 times. Letters are answered with questions and within 3 weeks. I spent a lot of time and it was all in vain, I don’t recommend this bank

Revolut is great for making small payments when travelling, but the customer service is abysmal. Copy and paste answers and long waiting times, sometimes many hours, on the chat when something goes wrong.

The customer service is not helpful. They request unnecessary information to keep you busy. Give you answers for questions you do not ask and are not interested in find a workaround nor a sustainable solution.

It started ok, but then, Revolut blocked the money on my account two times in a row ( >3 weeks from last time and still blocked) leaving me without my salary, without means to pay for apartment, food, car. I have depts now, because of that. DO NOT receive your salary there, use real banks where you can come and ask. Revolut support not even trying to help, just say - it is our internal security check, please wait, we will update you once the decision is made. Decision on what? What did I do wrong? Before doing any transactions, I asked the support whether it is fine and will my account be blocked? They replied that it is ok!!

I have used Revolut sincer 2018 and I loved it. Great exchange rates, fast transfers, great app which is incredibly easy to use IMO. It was good up until the moment I actually needed their assistance. Last week I had money taken from my account through phishing. I completed an online form for a chargeback and not even 10 minutes later I got an email that my chargeback claim has been denied. That's the first red flag. People might think fast responses are good, but they are not. When I ran into the same problem with ING, they took a month to investigate and look into it. Revolut thinks that in under 10 minutes you can solve a case of fraud? Bad. Second red flag was that they didn't even ask me for additional information. They just straight up refused looking into it further because I guess, more work for them to do? So I proceeded to contact a live agent and discuss it with them. I gave them all the proof that showed I was scammed, screenshots, THE POLICE REPORT, everything. And all they had to say was "we are so sorry but our team decided this case is closed, so you have to cooperate only with the police from now on". Right. Thankfully at least the police is professional and I am making progress with them. But Revolut has been shameful. After 4 years of being their client I canceled my card and will never support Revolut in any way again. I will stick to real banks that take the time and responsibility to do their job properly. There are a lot of things to complain about with INF, Raiffeisen, Erste, Barclay's etc, but all of them, when I filed a complaint, actually did a thorough investigation and cared about my situation. Revolut is a flaming piece of garbage when it comes to this.

I worked in Revolut for a several years. What can I say: toxic environment and bad work-life balance all true. All features launched as MVP in a big rush, so you can expect some bugs. Tops have no clue how to manage people. What they are worried about - only company valuation. So employees just a resources which should be squeezed out. In the end when you decide to quit they will try to stop you if you are good performer. They will promise a lot (especially changes in there mindset, but this will never happen), so it is up to you to decide. I feel the same way they think about customers - just a resources. I used Revolut as a customer as well, so far no problem. But I don’t used any fintech features really. Just received salary and usual spending. For other stuff I am using another apps, not a fan to keep everything in one basket. Also considering to open just usual bank account, maybe will keep Revolut for small spendings. For traveling it is a great account, but now, I believe, you can find something else with better currency rate.

Revolut was good to use until I was contacted by several different advisors about proof of my source of income. I have provided them with all I could, unfortunately day after day I got more messages from at least 12 different people to send all those documents again and again. It became annoying as I felt very uncomfortable sharing my savings, bank statements with so many different people employed online. Seem like there is no connection between advisors and sharing my data with all of them seems dangerous and very suspicious. No phone number to call, no answer just repeating messages to send my documents. Seriously I am very disappointed and actually worried now how my information will be use. All of you be careful. I started to believe this is some kind of scam !

I transferred money £2,250k and after a day it was refunded without explaination so transaction was a failure. I wanted to close my account but they asked me to pay £13.98 for the remaining two months of my premium account to complete the 12month period contract as they say. To ease myself of wanting to close my account so I paid the £13.98 because I just want to close my account out of frustration of not completing transaction including poor customer service. But to my surprise Revolut dors not want me to close my account because it says that I still have some remaining balance in stocks amounting to few pence. I said to myself that I don't need that few pence anymore Revolut can have them all. All I want is to close my account so I get rid of annoying disappointing app that does not work when you need it most. By the way I was charged with service fee when I transferred the money 3times but that charges did come back when money was refunded. The only relief I had was that I got my £2,250 back which I immediately withdrawn when I smelt some suspicious act by Revolut. No, don't use this platform or app it is UNRELIABLE!!!

Difficult to get to the bottom of issues and Revolut are acting irresponsibly with customers. I do like the app and the principles of making money handling easier and more responsive. I have had a significant issue however which Revolut have been very unhelpful with. They claim fee free top ups using a variety of payment methods and encourage people to use credit cards and apple/google pay. I chose to top up my account using a credit card purchase through Google Pay as Revolut assure there will be no fees. On reviewing my credit card statements I saw my deposits had led to fees and interest. Revolut are taking cash advances from credit cards (like a cash withdrawal which nearly always attracts fees) rather than charging as purchases. My bank say they have no control over how this money is requested from them i.e. why a cash advance rather than a purchase. I then spoke to a Revolut agent who said they offer fee free top ups and the cash advance payment type is nothing to do with Revolut which directly contradicts what my bank has said. I also see that the app accepts credit card top ups directly with no warning that these are cash advances which are rarely fee free. This may lead to significant financial issues customers and is irresponsible customer service. I have been left in the middle with no clarity on what is going on and why. I have received quite clear communication from my bank that it is Revolut who decide to take cash advances from credit cards, rather than purchases --- this will clearly lead to fees for customers and should be made much clearer. Be more open with your customers Revolut!

Opened a premium account with Revolut, mainly for easy trading and because of vault interests rates. Interest dropped from 1.35 to 0.80% within 2 months. Trading is buggy (graphs not up to date or showing false information), with huger delays, and is only good for playing, not for proper trading. Then I was asked for evidence of revenue sources, which I provided immediately. 3 weeks later, account was blocked, the reason being "pending review of evidence provided". That was 2 days ago, I have been trying to get support from revolut since. I am not sure how to put it, but my feeling is that I trusted an amateurish, careless business with quite a lot of money, which I cannot access (i.e. use or transfer) anymore. I would not want to be in an emergency situation and have to rely on revolute. My trust in this business is below zero. I would advise everyone to only use revolut with money that is not going to be needed. Revolu give online banking a very bad name. If in any doubt, avoid.

Revolut will limit your account meaning that no money can be transferred in or out. No payments can be made. They will do this on even small sums of money eg 5000 pounds. So far I have been waiting over a day. But i read others waiting 6 days! It means you cannot transfer anything substantial sums into your account without huge disruption and no one to tell you when it will be approved. I will no longer use Revolut for large transactions. Its not worth the hassle. Moneycorp you can speak to an account manager at any time. On line chat service is a farce. No one has replied to my app requests.
