“RM needs a couple more filter choices. The option to eliminate Student properties, would make it faster to check current homes available, for non students. A filter for Ground floor properties, would help those with mobility needs.”

“Your site is lacking because you do not make it mandatory for agent to put in full details. The most important one being the size (gross internal area) it is very hard to work out. It should also be possible to search on area, For example If I am searching for an apartment I want to know if it is 800sq ft or say 1500 sq ft. Thai is basic information that all agents should know and also provide a floor plan. Also It should be clearly stated what the heating source is, e.g gas oil electricity LPG etc. energy cost are such a significant cost the days. This together with clearly stating all other costs such as the council tax band and the current years charge should be made mandatory in order to list on your site. It is a real pain when searching as this information is not listed and one has to call the agent who are reluctant to give any information without insisting that they take all our details, and then send inappropriate properties. Such a waste of time for both parties. You as Rightmove could force a change to get agents to do their job properly as they do in many other countries. I am always astonished the agents in this country can get away with doing so little to earn their large fees.”

“Even though you can find information and accurate prices many times the listings are misleading. For example if you advertise a 2 double bedroom flat it usually it is a master and a single bedroom with a double bed. This is misleading and it should be highlighted. Also there could be more clear information about other things such Council tax band, exact post code, information about other expenses (even average). So clarity is missing in many cases. As this information comes from the agencies, then the a site like Rightmove should regulate the information required to be included. This could ease the search for everyone and also put on right terms what each property is.”

“Very disapointed with a visit from a rightmove agent when she came to put a value on our apartment. Was not interested in even looking around the property. Just gave us a depressing view of what properties were selling for.”

“Rightmove is quick and easy to use for browsing properties. Only downside is some of the info given by the estate agents in either: a) 'missing' (or just left out!) e.g. there is someone living in the property as a tenant and you can only buy if you want to take that on board!!! or b) not up-to-date e.g. they've already sold the property... I would give Rightmove a better rating if it could/would monitor how up-to-date the esate agent info is”
