Faulty Items & Endless Excuses: My order arrived damaged. Rather than taking ownership and resolving the issue, their customer service team forced me through endless scripted loops - demanding absurd photo requests (such as photos of a taped-up cardboard box) and attempting to fob me off with tiny partial refunds to keep damaged furniture.
Forced Escalation: Getting them to collect their bulky, defective property was like pulling teeth. They only moved to collect it after I was forced to launch a bank chargeback and issue a formal legal notice under the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977.
Unauthorised Use of Personal Photos: While delaying the collection of the damaged unit from my property, Rit Concept listed the item on their website using private photographs taken inside my personal residence without my consent. They essentially attempted to treat my home as free storage while exploiting my intellectual property for commercial gain. This resulted in formal Google Copyright (DMCA) strikes being filed against them and shockingly, even after the listing was initially removed, they re-uploaded it using the same stolen images.
Conclusion:
A business that requires credit card chargebacks, legal notices, and DMCA copyright takedowns just to pick up damaged goods is not a business worth trusting. Save yourself the stress, money, and headache: do not buy from Rit Concept.”
