Avoid, avoid, avoid! I would give less than a star if I could. I ordered and paid for a Velux window. On delivery, the driver told me he had to leave it ‘curbside’. This firm had not informed me of this in advance. The window is worth £400 and weighs 40kg. I could not move it. I called this firm and they took no responsibility. They said I could have simply sent it back with the driver. I need it of course for planned work. Rude and unpleasant to deal with.

So after ordering the wrong lead I rang up to see if I could return it to them which they said I could explained to them that the tape had split on one role in transit which they said was fine....Took a 3 and a half hour trip to there from Nottingham just for the guy to go back on his word and not take the one where the tape had split saying to me I had opened it when I didn't and didn't even need to as I managed to sort some more lead from Notts on the day of the job so their lead was just left to aside...Said he would agree to taking it back but at only 25% OF THE original value....asked him why this wasnt mentioned ovwr the phine and tbh he wasnt trying to have a conversation with me or give me the customer service i felt as tho i deserved after driving down from so far. Tbf he had this take it or leave it attitude and as I have learning difficulties which is embarrassing to have to deal with sometimes but anyway, had to suck it up and ask him the reasoning for him only giving g me 25% of the original value back...he began started to argue with me and say I was going back and forth with him I genuinely wasnt and believe after a 3 and a half hour journey I wasn't trying to do that with the man that was supposed to be giving my money back as I'm just not that guy.... asked him very politely why he had to be so abrupt with me as im being very polite from my end...keeping in mind i just got out of the car afrer being stuck in London Traffic for an hour after coming down from Nottingham. He was very argumentative, was trying his best to antagonise the situation as I could tell he wasn't happy as I didn't want an exchange and wanted my money back..... But as soon as I asked him why he had to be so abrupt he said he wouldn't take the roll which had the snapped tape on....tbh it started from my mistake as I ordered the wrong size lead but ive been in the trade for over 15 years now and have never expected such a low level of customer service and general understanding of a situation. They seem like a drop shipping company and I wish I had read there reviews before using them as someone had to take them to court to get there money back on an order that was wrong like mine.... and the fact you can't leave anymore reviews on Google for em just says it all really... Poor service, rude man, and even worse attitude....

I rang roofing outlet because on there web site it said delivery within 2 to 3 days.I asked the question if i order today will i get the coping stones by Friday?.I was told yes.So i arrange bricklayers to come in the next Sunday. They have had to build the wall with no copping stones as you know what is coming they never delivered the stones as promised. I rang Roofing outlet to see what was happening and they told me 2 to 3 weeks delivery. Totally unacceptable. This has put me out Physically and financially because i have to call a brick layer in for half a day to fit the stones.(now ordering from somewhere else)Very poor service

Placed a few orders for some Sandtoft roofing supplies and velux windows. Some of the ridge tiles were broken and denied replacement saying I had signed the delivery note. Is the expectation to open all the pallets when receiving the delivery and then sign the delivery note?? Swallowed that loss and placed another order for new ridge tiles at my expense. This time the delivery was left on the curb when nobody was onsite..so nobody signed the delivery note. Luckily these tiles weren't smashed, but the delivery note is just an excuse! Denied return of incorrectly ordered dry verge units even though within the 14 day timeframe and when I asked for a complaints procedure the sales person cancelled my order...quoting I was being a pain to deal with. Extremely unprofessional and incompetent bunch of sales guys who are outright rude and take no accountability

Not one, but two bad experiences with this company. When I initially ordered some Coping Stones in April last year, Roofing Outlet were quick to take my money although they were unable to fulfill my order. I had to call them to find this out as they did not reach out to tell me themselves. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again on 2nd May this year as the site promised 2-3 day delivery for which I paid £65. Needless to say, they were unable to fulfill my order again. I called and emailed to find out what was going on and was promised updates (which I didn’t get). I was eventually told they’d be with me by the end of May. The responses that I got to my subsequent emails promised they’d be back in stock in a week (mid June). I have only just had a call directly from Castle Composites to schedule delivery for Tuesday 12th July. Two months is a bit longer than the 2-3 days specified on their website. Awful customer service, ridiculous false advertising on delivery timescales and a complete lack of care from the team. I wish I’d seen the other Trustpilot reviews before dealing with this company and I certainly won’t be buying from them again. Very disappointing.

Ordered some porcelain coping stones on 27/10/21,I have sent several emails since requesting an update on the order and just keep getting excuses. It is now 02/02/22 and still not received the goods. Very poor service.

This is the worst experience I've ever had. 2 months after making an order I've been fobbed off with fake delivery dates and still not received my order. Im nearly £800 down. Please don't order from these people

Ordered a roof lantern with an estimated delivery time of 3 weeks. I have just been told a delivery date 8 weeks after placing my order. Not happy, whole job will be put back a month now.

Worst internet seller!!! Do not use this company!!! Paid for materials with promises to receive materials in couple days becouse there wasn't communication with me at the end of the day stayed with no materials at all.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Ordered two weeks ago, get an email this morning to say they have tried contacting me 'several' times to say there is a £200 + VAT delivery charge. When I question it I'm told that 'Harry' left two voicemails (clearly not on my phone!). Website states free delivery to Mainland UK (which we are!) and then asks for you to enter your postcode to calculate shipping, still comes back as FREE delivery. 'Harry' tells me to check the T's & C's which he attaches to his email and no mention of anything in the 'delivery' section. He tells me to go all the way to the bottom where there is a child's version of a photoshopped map showing delivery charges to certain areas. Website is very misleading and false, customer service is non existent. When I told Harry that I wasn't paying for delivery as their website states incorrect information and is misleading I get the order cancelled and refunded with no further communication!! Avoid at all costs, take your business elsewhere where it will be valued.

I ordered a velux window online and actually ordered an incorrect flashing kit for the size of the window by mistake. I rang the company to check special arrangements on my delivery and checked the ordered which they had spotted and altered because they realised I had ordered a wrong part to go with the window. The items were delivered when they said so all in all very delighted and they saved me time. Thank you very much for excellent service !!
