“Our experience with using Roofsimple to replace our roof did not go well. BUYER BEWARE! Although we were happy with the high quality of the GAF roofing material in the end, Roofsimple made huge mistakes in not covering our brand new TREX deck and patio for protection. Consequently, when they replaced the fascia, the Roofsimple team allowed a large amount of nails and other debris to fall onto the deck and patio. In addition, when they removed the existing gutters, Roofsimple dropped the gutters onto the deck and patio, scraping it badly. Overall, Roofsimple caused a significant amount of damage to our personal property, and we weren’t pleased. We were surprised to hear that they told us it was not part of their standard business practice to provide protection to a homeowner’s property when replacing fascia. Wow, we called that response extremely neglectful and disrespectful! Our deck isn't even two years old yet (built in November, 2022) and the fact that they didn't care about the damage they caused, they showed no empathy for our feelings or property. Their lead foreman (Nathan) eventually did work with our patio-deck builder to replace the damaged pieces. Kudos Nathan. However, when we raised the issue and dissatisfaction with their lead sales guy (Luke) and headquarters management, we asked for compensation for the trouble and they ignored our emails and phone calls. Crickets! Clearly, Roofsimple was trying to hide from their mistakes and failed to provide any just compensation for damaging all of our personal property. Stay away from Roofsimple!”

“Well I’ve tried to contact and have corrected the problems with my roof. I chose Roof Simple because of their rating with GAF. Also Josh met all my needs within the quote. The quote included removing and replacing all flashing on the roof. In fact it is imperative that new step and apron flashing be installed to prevent leaks on dormer edging. This was not accomplished. Drip edge corners were also not finished well. Large gaps and poor bends in the aluminum. I was ready to have a new roof installed with what seemed to be the best installer in my area. So far I have not seen the best or proper installation.”

Hi Perry, Thanks so much for taking the time to share feedback. I'll be reaching out ASAP to make sure I can meet with you onsite and resolve any issues. I know Josh had sent emails on the 4th and the 12th to get in touch, maybe email isn't the best channel so I'll reach out by phone. I know you and Josh had discussed replacing all the flashing (which is what we do by default) however, you have custom log siding on the dormer portions which means we can't physically install the step flashing behind it without doing damage to your home. In these scenarios we can't typically replace the step flashing. I would like to personally meet onsite with you and review the situation to see what we can do and double check everything is done correctly. Best, John Hepler COO, Roofsimple Inc
