Had my Tissot since April and to date not heard a thing back as at the 17th of July, Just informed them that they have 3 days to return my watch or I go to the police. Shocking way to treat a customer

**** DO NOT USE ! **** This so-called "business" is a joke (either that or it's a scam). Here's an abridged account of my experience with them: I was looking for someone to take a look at my automatic Rotary watch. The watch was running fine, the day indicator clicked over at midnight as is it should but the actual date indicator was stuck on '27'. After searching online (but failing to check for reviews - big mistake) I emailed a few companies on 6th April 2020. RWR's quote of £79.95 for a service was the most affordable so I sent it off on 7th April. I heard absolutely nothing for a quite a while and on checking the Royal Mail tracking app they hadn't even collected it (it was sent to a PO Box). I was not happy and emailed them straight away. A few days later I received an email telling me the cost would be £245.00 as the watch wasn't ticking at all !!! (remember, they had originally quoted £79.95 for a service). Needless to say I did not accept their kind offer and asked for my watch to be returned thinking that would be the end of the matter. Oh no, more was to come. First, they demanded £10.00 to return my watch. Even though I thought this was a bit excessive (maybe not) I paid it straight away. Was this the end of it? Nope! Despite several emails to them chasing my return with no response I finally snapped. I emailed them an ultimatum. Either they supply me with a tracking number for my watch return within a couple of days (I was still being somewhat generous) or I would be reporting them to Kent Trading Standards. That finally got their attention!. I eventually got my unrepaired watch back today, 29th April. Guess what? I gave it a few shakes and it started ticking just fine despite their claim it wasnt working at all (the date is still stuck on 27 though). I'm currently awaiting an estimate from a reputable company. Let's hope they're better than this shower (they couldn't be any worse if they tried). In summary: This 'business' is a complete joke. Communication is almost non-existent. Their initial quotes are not to be trusted at all. Response times are completely unacceptable. **** DO NOT TRUST THEM ****

Tag watch went for battery and reseal, 6 months later first time swimming on holiday face steamed up, they told me to send watch back, which I did and they found nothing! Sent to tag £720 bill for water damage. Won't answer emails so makes 12 month guarantee a joke!!!

This company has been absolutely terrible, be aware. They have taken my watch and have had it now for over 3 months. I was promised it would only take a couple of weeks for a glass repair. After lots of chasing to work out where my watch was I finally had an email saying its ready and to make payment to an individuals bank account. (not a business account). I have asked for a photo of the repaired watch (as their kiosk in Tunbridge Wells is shut) and they have so far not replied. I genuinely don't know whether my watch has been stolen or not. I may have no alterative but to report a crime. Madness considering all I wanted was a simple repair.

I am still awaiting the return of my watch. It is impossible to contact anyone for information. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate. I am thinking of contacting the police as my next option?

As others have commented, I used RWR's service due to a lack of other options during the Covid-19 lockdown, in my case due to a battery replacement being required for my Tag Heuer watch. I was really impressed with how quickly the service was completed and how RWR kept me informed by e-mail every step of the way. I've had my watch back for a few days now and everything seems to be fine; the battery replacement came with a two year guarantee but time will tell on that count! The service was a little pricey (especially adding the cost of having to send the watch out using Special Delivery, though the return postage was paid for) but I'm hoping the quality and convenience will prove this worthwhile.

I’d previously been quoted £1,500 for a new bracelet for my Omega Constellation to replace the worn and now broken 17 year old bracelet. Ross Watch Repairs made completely new pins for the old bracelet (nothing wrong with the links after all) and cleaned it, for the princely sum of ... £85!!! I collected it the following day, but it was too tight: after the repair, the bracelet had returned to the size it should be rather than the loose size it was with the very worn pins. So they refitted a spare link while I waited and without charging me. A saving of more than £1,400 and 6 weeks - I couldn’t be happier. Recommend these lovely chaps to anyone. Thanks guys.

Very poor service - I sent my Ebel watch to them for a battery replacement and it took 3 weeks to be returned. They also offered the watch to be re-polished at the same time for £30.00 extra, which I agreed to. When the watch arrived back the polishing was dreadful - The previously highly polished bezel came back with a dull satin finish. I had to send the watch back again at a cost of £7.50 which they will not refund. I would not use them again or recommend them. Very poor.

Not possible to leave no stars RWS have Had my watch for three months won’t answer the phone won’t reply to email or what’s app If you have a treasured item I’d keep it in the draw like I should have done

Had a new battery installed in a Tag Heuer watch today at Tunbridge Wells. In 20 minutes! Would have taken weeks to send back to Switzerland. That's quality service. Many thanks.

My TAG watch had not been serviced since it was purchased twenty years ago. I was happy with the cost of the service, the quality of the work and the turn around time in which it was completed. Would definitely recommend Ross Watch Repairs

Posted them two Tag Aqua racers for new batteries, ultrasonic clean and Polishing. Can’t praise there service, the time it took or the quality of there work enough. Don’t be put off by the low prices, the quality of workmanship is anything but low and there constant communication updates superb. Will definitely use them again.

10/10 very trustworthy company who did a fantastic job. Quick turnaround sent my watch off on Tuesday and had it back on my wrist by friday lunchtime. Communication throughout (email/whatsapp) was very good as my query or question was answered immediately and politely. I had battery, reseal, pressure test, Ultra sonic clean and removal of 1 link for £49.99! Excellent value, my Tag Heuer looked brand new. What a brilliant company, thank you so much RWR. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 10/10

They have had the watch since September for a repair of a button and a full service, no updates in these last few months despite calling and visiting the Bromley branch a few times, I don't feel like they care about customer service at all and will not use this company again. No communication, no contact, no updates in months. And would not recommend.

Waste of time.They say it's 2 week turnaround usually. had my watch for 6weeks and in the end said that there is no parts available.( Broken crown to any generic. ) No communication in between, nothing. They are just joke. Maybe good fo changing batteries an stuff.
