“My experience, please don't use Route1. So many issues. On first order color variation. Printing quality was not good. Second time they make an issue of artwork after the time deadline for next day delivery and than accept the same artwork. And 3rd and the last time, I inquiry about the delivery which I suppose to receive yesterday and today I ask them and they said, the system is showing my order but there is no order production system. So I have to reorder it. They are worst company for online orders. The only reason I used them it there express delivery before 12. Which I never received. Never ever using them again.”
“Route 1 Print used to good at one point when I first started using them 5 yers ago but for the past 2.5 years a very awful and poor service overall. They always let you know on the day if they cant deliver your order and there is nothing you can do to then to let down your own clients. If you rely on R1 Print print and have no other choice then I'd say carry on with the stress but they can't be trusted on a professional or business level to deliver.”

“I use 3 print houses for 90% of my client work and typically choose which one depending on the needs for high quality and/or reliability.
Route1 are cheap, perfectly acceptable quality but terribly, terribly unreliable for anything time critical.
Time after time after time orders are late. The famous "sorry we have had production issues" email is far too frequent.
But the real problem is the fact you get no communication about this at all and are left chasing customer services 24/7 for a new delivery date and all they say is "we can't give you one'.
If you really press you may get a promise that it will ship by a certain date but that will also fail to materialise and they then shut up shop and refuse to give you ANY information on a new date, leaving you to have to cancel the order, apologies to the client and find a re-print elsewhere. They really don't give a hoot.
We've removed Route1 from our holy trinity of printers and hope they can improve their communication in the future so we can return. We understand production issues happen from time to time, but the sheer unwillingness or inability to rectify production issues with a commitment to a new delivery date minimise delays is simply not workable.
Shrugging your shoulders when things go wrong is a completely unacceptable way to deal with issues.
They either don't care or understand what an embarrassment it is for a design agency to be constantly letting their clients down with broken print promises caused by Route 1 Print's unreliability.”
