“The reason is I could not get the original covers which was 3 x 3 x 3 metres, short of half a metre and apparently you do not do covers without the steel frame. Thank God that I have a technical background and that helped me to down size the frame by half a meter to fit the covers. Yet to finish though.
As the covers suffer the most wear and tear, my humble request is to sell covers only in future as an option. I will definitely get one. Your price very competitive and the cheapest.”

“The item arrived as expected and on time. It was solidly packed. It did need a lot of drilling and screwing to get it erected and unfortunately parts of it were warped which meant unscrewing and rebuilding some of the ready made sections. Due to a lack of professional tools we needed to make a couple of alterations to get it finished but it is now a very nice and solid Arbour. It looks like it did in the picture.”

“This is a lovely canopy and enhances our garden. The quality is brilliant. I would have given 5 stars but I saw the same product on https://www.gardenstreet.co.uk/garden-buildings-structures-c13/canopies-awnings-c27 for £100 less. I requested a price match and was firmly told no. A £100 difference for the same product is a lot and I would have expected Rowlinson to at least offer a partial refund. It is very true the Latin legal maxim caveat empto - 'Buyer beware'. This has left me £100 out of pocket.”

“The Tivoli arbour is very good and we are really pleased with it, but what really let you down was the delivery service, it stated 2 to 7 working days, and we were contacted very quickly by your courier, but having taken the day off work to receive the delivery, I was told on the morning that due to a driver having an issue our delivery was cancelled too the following day, no good for us as work commitments meant we would not be available, also there is no secure place to deliver the product to, I asked for a new date for the following week but was told that was not possible till the next week, I explained that we would need notice to arrange for someone to receive the delivery for us, in the end I emailed your office and obviously you had a word with the courier, as within 2 hours we were contacted and a suitable delivery was arranged, so in summary the Arbour is lovely and looks great, but the grief your courier caused us, will make us think twice before buying from you again, sorry great product let down by poor customer service.
And the loss of a days pay to boot.

The Archway, whilst being top quality had one shortcoming in that if, as in my case, the posts need to be set into the ground , this leaves little headroom, if like me (6'2") in height. I ended up going to B&Q for longer posts. But it is what it is, and the result is good.

“As a professioal craftsman the product is fine but....the ends of the Nylon rods are sharp from 'machne' cut off. For the unskilled pushing through the cloth fold would be impossible.
Shamfer the ends !!!

“Overall an excellent prodict with just a couple of minor niggles.
The quality and finish is excellent apart from the very rough semi circular cutouts on the front legs just below the arm rests. More than just surface roughness, it will require some work with several grades of of sandpaper to get them properly smooth.
Assembly was straightforward but the main screws were not the easiest to tighten so the job took longer than anticipated. The hexagonal slots in the screw heads were too shallow allowing the allen key to easily slip. As a lot of torque is required to tighten the last inch or so of each screw to full tightness this made the entire process both difficult and slow. I found that coating the screw heads in vaseline did help, but onlt to a certain extent.”

“The parasol itself seems to be quite sturdy and well made although we haven't used it much yet. Two points regarding the customer service: we were not informed that we would receive 2 separate deliveries so thought there had been an error. Secondly, there doesn't seem to be a way of putting the cover on without partly dismantling the parasol. I enquired about this but am still waiting for an answer more than a week later. A couple of tips: if you are going to fill the base with sand, make sure trhat it is kiln dried sand, otherwise it will take you hours, if not days. And in windy weather it does swing around a bit so I had to tie it back with some strong cord (as I couldn't get the cover on!).”
“Pleasantly surprised to find the replacement canopy still available for our gazebo that is over ten years old. Perfect fit replacing the original because of the seams now tearing due to weathering and fair wear and tear
Only disappointment was the high price for the replacement canopy compared to the price for a new gazebo, as it represents 40% of the current price, which seems a little disproportionate.”

Our new propagator is extremely well made and was simple to assemble. Good materials and thoughtful touches.
Delivery was v quick. However, the large and very heavy box was deposited flat in the middle of the drive. My wife couldn't move it. It should have been placed on its side at either side or rear of the property.”
