Having bought from them, they refuse to issue a VAT invoice depsite asking over a dozen times over the course of 8 weeks. Ask to speak to a manager and they simply hang up the phone. God only knows what service you will get if you ever need to make a warrarnty claim or return a purchase - do yourself a favour and buy from a professional organisation not these jokers.”
“Purchased item on ebay, not by price but because RTG offer 5 year warranty on parts. Well i fell for that. Warranty is worthless when RTG don't respond to any query after a component has failed within even the first year.

“Bought a Gates timing belt from RTG Automotive... less than 5000 miles use it snapped, wrecking my engine and bending 10 out of 16 valves. Belt arrived in a plastic bag and no OE packing, so looking back it must have been a fake part. Will be sending it to Gates for investigation of counterfeit parts and contacting trading standards.”

“Ordered a stepper motor , they sent the wrong item,before they would do anything I had to send photo's of the item, then they said return it to them, I had to pay to return it as they wouldn't send me a return slip, they told me to follow a link but it wouldn't work I tried several times , then in the en they refunded me the initial price but not the cost of return. ..why did they not resend the correct item I ordered....so 2 weeks after ordering an item I am still without it....... These people don't care about customers. STAY AWAY!”

“I bought a Febi Control Arm Suspension Kit with a 5 year warranty, after 9 months a part failed so i contacted RTG they started off saying sorry we will sort this out and send you a new part please confirm your address, then no reply so i contacted them and they said how about a partial refund then they said oh we need all the kit which is about 8 parts on my car suspension taking off my car returning then they would send it back to febi and await a reply. RTG Automotive in my view have conned me. they listed the parts brand new on an ebay sale, the person i dealt with was Lois.”

This company is a sham, I ordered a exhaust system, it was meant to be next day guaranteed, then they said it will be three days. It’s now been two weeks and still nothing. They will not refund me the money until I return the parts, I haven’t received them yet they insist I return them when they arrive… it could be months before they say it’s lost and return my money.
