“I would NOT recommend dealing with this company. I ordered a crank sensor (via eBay) for a 1994 Jaguar XJ40, checking the compatibility using their online registration checker. The part was offered and was advertised as fitting a 1990 to 1997 Jaguar Xj40. Great! I ordered, and received the item only to realise that the part didn’t fit when attempting to install. On investigating, the part they have sold me as advertised only fits in 1995+ model. I discussed the return and replacement of the part and they were not willing to help me, claiming that I should have called them and spoke in person to discuss before ordering, even though the return compatibility checker said it was correct. This is purely based on their Policy of a 30 day refund, which as noted I was well out because the car is stored some way away. They are incorrectly advertising parts that do not fit. I was met with an unhelpful response from customer services, and also when I called the shop (which the number is wrong on google by the way). If I had mistakenly ordered the wrong part and found myself outside of the 30 day period. I wholeheartedly wouldn’t expect a refund or replacement, but this is different. I am in the process of raising a trading standards Complaint under the consumer standards act 2015, and eBay are also investigating RTG Automotive for misrepresentation of goods. AVOID.”

“Initially I was very impressed especially with "Aron' whom directed me to the part I needed. Delivery was super fast.... Well until Amazon delivered it to some random address. I messaged rtg and asked them for help. I had a reply from Phil abruptly saying it had been delivered and sent me a picture of a door way it had been left at. I felt like he was insinuating I was lying. 2 hours I spent on Google maps looking for this door . Thankfully I found it and when I went to get it I was great full when I was handed it 🙏this company seems to know how to stay in business, but unfortunately Phil is a massive let down.”

“Bought a Gates timing belt from RTG Automotive... less than 5000 miles use it snapped, wrecking my engine and bending 10 out of 16 valves. Belt arrived in a plastic bag and no OE packing, so looking back it must have been a fake part. Will be sending it to Gates for investigation of counterfeit parts and contacting trading standards.”
