Sail in Greece is the biggest scam ever. Boat has NO AC - Captain and crew were unskilled and unsafe. They lied about weather. Even ended the cruise early. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

With all due respect to our guests and their experience, we would like to respond to the comments ,given that you were on the same ship on the same date I will give you the same answer. • Our captain and our crew have been with us for years and I have never received such a comment before. we all work hard to ensure that you are safe, have a great time, and have the best memories from your cruise. • As stated in the company’s info pack, which is also posted on our official website and which we sent to you long before your boarding, it states that the a/c operates 4-6 hours a day. However, we leave it 2 hours longer because we understand that in Greece these months we have quite a lot of heat. Were you also informed that if you need extra a/c hours you will have to pay for the generator. Τhe cost is quite low per person. • Regarding the food, let me tell you that there is no chance that we have not taken care of your food, even as it happened a few days ago they forgot to inform us about a vegetarian diet and despite all this at the last moment we made sure that there were rich vegetarian options on the menu . We give you months before to complete your dietary choices to take care of your every need. • Unfortunately, regarding the weather, we have to change your program for the safety of you, primarily, and that of the ship. it is also stated in the info pack and in the signed contract. • Let me explain to you that specifically the cook from the crew had a serious issue of hernia in the lower part of the abdomen, we kept him on pills for the last few days until we released him. If I could put zero stars I would. The whole business is a fraud and the experience is extremely disappointing. Do not waste your money or time on a company that only cares about taking your money and nothing about your wellbeing. A lot of their reviews are bought/fake. Such a shame that a company would be more than happy to take a group of 20 people in their own hands for a week trip with zero care factor of their customers wellbeing, safety or experience. We had access to almost zero fans or airflow on the boat unless we paid an additional large costs that then made no sense as the company continued to say it was not in their control the power it was in the ports. The rooms were unbearable to sleep in leaving all the people on the boat including the staff to sleep outside. There were zero safety instructions shown. None of the food recruitments were given to the cook so the food was unable to be eaten by a % of the people onboard. After expressing our concerns and experience to the company, they had little to say or respond to the situation. Lastly, they made us come back 2 days early due to “fake weather reports” and an unwell crew member that was later seen walking about with friends. There are plenty of sail companies out there that will care for you, treat you with respect and make an effort to ensure your time in enjoyable. Go with them because choose this company will only make you regret it

We had a week long trip w Sail in Greece this summer and it could not have been a bigger disappointment. First we were supposed to have all 18 of us on one boat with a chef, but we were split into two boats that were almost never together and no cooks (though our wonderful captain did cook up some octopus which he caught). But worse still, was that we had to wait on shore for a full day for our boats to arrive and get port clearances - so our 7 day trip was only 6 (and we waisted that whole day waiting for the boats as their promised arrival kept being postponed). Of course Sail in Greece did not provide any reimbursement for the shortened trip or lack of cooks. To make matters worse they lied to us repeatedly about why the boats were delayed (weather! When we had calm clear skys - or port papers! When they had all our information for weeks in advance - or the Captain is late! But we found he waited as long as us, etc etc…) All in All I would not trust Sail in Greece to provide anything promised on any timeline suggested… go with ANYONE else!!!

Sail in Greece Terry and Tracie, Ohio, USA Please- Don’t waste your money like we did! September 2022 Zante cruise. Starting with the name, these boats have no sails on them, they have rigging but zero sails. Our main goal was to “sail around the Greek islands” Next it was supposed to be the Aphrodite boat, constructed in 2017 and refit in 2019. The pictures looked good and supposed to have a tender for optional waterskiing, wake boarding etc. Also supposed to have 7-8 air conditioned cabins, we were guessing 14-16 people. They switched the boat to the “Eros” 22 years old, with what appears to be only minimal maintenance done on it since. Picture the movie “Captain Ron”. I will enclose pics. There were 26 people on board, with 1 cabin a no show after seeing the condition of the boat and reading the reviews, you can read what they had to say, in their own review. There Was not even enough room for all to sit at the table to eat. We stayed 1 night, after all power was shut down before midnight, no air, no fan, a very tiny open port hole was the only air for the room. My wife couldn’t breathe, we were both laying in a pool of sweat. She went to sleep on deck, where she was joined by half the crew and many passengers…. Needless to say, none of this was what we traveled to Greece for. We got off at the first port and informed the captain we would not be returning. Additionally the rooms and entire boat were nothing like the video shown for the Aphrodite, very rundown. Also no tender for water sports. Complete Bait and switch. We contacted the company and informed them that all of this was very unacceptable, we were leaving and requested a refund for only our unused portion of the trip. They declined…. Then offered for us to go back on the boat and they would get us a room when they were in port. Not a chance, we were going to waste another moment of our trip on “captain Ron’s boat” Absolutely Don’t book here! The many negative reviews are completely accurate.

Dear guests. We are sorry to hear that we did not meet up to your expectations. With all due respect to our guests and their experience we would like to reply to the comments raised so all of our guests are aware as well: 1) Yes indeed all of our gulets do not use their sails, even if they have them and use our engine. This is clearly stated on all our official documentation while booking, as well as in our official info pack. 2) All of our scheduled cruises, such as our Zante cruse operate with multiple gulets and we never warranty the name of the exact boat, only 1 week prior to departure. All of our documentation is transparent as well. 3) Our gulet Eros has been fully renovated during season 2022, with everything being brand new, hence we suggest our guests to either check our official website for updated photos or email us. 4) We clearly state to all of our official documentation that our a/c system does operate at maximum 8 hours per day and not after midnight. We do understand your frustration while joining that you did not realise that, but with all due respect our ops team called you instantly, we did speak with our captain even to keep the a/c system for more free of charge, but 24/7 hours ac system was/is not possible. 5) None of our gulets have a tender that you can use for water sports, hence your statement is right, but we never promise that in any case. 6) On the day you, unfortunately, tried to blackmail our company that if we did not refund you the money, you will cast a negative word for us, but we are sorry to say that we can not accept such actions, especially when we have done nothing wrong from our side. We did try the best we could, as we do for the more than 10.000 guests that cruise on our 10 fully owned vessels annually, but yes indeed we can not accept blackmails. I booked this holiday for my daughter and I as she adores the Greek Islands. A few days before travelling I read the reviews and was horrified. I read stories about safety, dirt, unbearable heat, terrible smells, poor attitudes of staff and one review even commented on the boat sinking. These are basic standards expected even on a budget holiday. We arrived in Zante 24 hours before sailing and could see the boat from the hotel we stayed in. We sat and watched and didn’t know what to do. I had paid £1.500 for this trip but after reading such awful reviews we feared for our life. We made a decision not to sail and booked into an air B&B for the week instead. I lost my money but we felt safe and had a great week. Maybe one star is harsh when we didn’t even board the boat but if you read carefully the good reviews are fake and written by the crew. I don’t regret my decision but just wished I had researched the company before paying.

If I could give a minus rating, I WOULD. WE BOOKED ON MS HERA and We were held up in Corfu due to late arrivals and advised we would have to stay in port for the night, although the boat does have A/C, we were not allowed to have it running for some reason. It was a very hot day that day and the cabins were extremely hot, and yes we have a tiny little fan in the room to move hot air about. Day 2, resulted in people sleeping outside on the decks to escape the heat from their cabins as it became unbearable and they were unable to sleep in these conditions. Day 3, we have 2 people leave the cruise to go home as they had enough and could not handle they poor show this company has presented. Today when I complained to the company they said that we only pay for 8 hours of A/C a day. This company lies and tries to make the customer at blame, do not waste your money and find someone that is more respected and reputable than Sail in Greece. My advice, AVOID AVOID AVOID

As we tried to explain to you, the a/c on all of our cruise boats operates for 8 hours a day, which we did exceed during your cruise to 10 hours per day free of charge. Worst boot trip ever... The engine of the boot was stuck, so we didn't sail for a week. Airco was stuck and bad communication. Also we didn't get a refund of our Harbour Tax, while we didn't even sail. Worst holiday experience ever... Boot named Artemis..

Indeed our generator faced a technical issue for 3 days, which forced our guests to remain on the port, but we had a contingency plan in place, offering a day trip to a nearby island, as well as bus tours to close beaches for swimming. We do understand that this does not cover a sailing trip and we again sincerely apologize for it. Thank you
Terrible travelling experience with Sail in Greece. The boat called Artemis was very old, poor equipped, dirty and smelly. The water running from the siks was brown. The crew and the captain were not skilled to manage that kind of boat and to fulfill the expectations/requests we made signing the agency's contract. The boat was not fit to host kids, even though the agency knew we were in a Family trip. The manager of the agency was unreachable for several days after we start the trip and we did not have any kind of assistance. To avoid!

Awful experience ever. The boat (Artemis) was so dirty and without any kind of comfort, no window and A/C in the room, pieces of glass on the pavement, disgusting smell and very poor quality of food. avoid it!!

I cannot begin to express how disappointing this experience was. The boat was absolutely shocking and terribly maintained. We were sold a lie and we wouldn’t go back on that boat if we were paid. The food was shocking and low quality. We paid for four days and only saw two islands. We literally couldn’t wait to get off the boat.

I made arrangements for a special group ( wife’s 50th birthday) for 19 people on one boat, the Herra. I made the reservation over 1 year in advance. 2 months before the trip ( after our deposit had been made and after flights were booked), I was informed (only by email) that Sail in Greece had made a mistake and had booked our boat with someone else. No single boat for our group was available on our dates and they offered dates only after our kids returned to high school and college. Instead , they offered us two boats ( splitting our group) for an up charge of $6000 Eu. At our cost, not theirs. The 2 boats were supposed to have a kitchen and chef each. Two weeks before our departure, one of our group looked up the boats and saw that nether had a kitchen nor chef. Sail in Greece never let us know this. It was up to us to find this out for ourselves and had we not looked, we would have never known about this significant change. When we called the company, No discount nor rebate were offered as we had already paid for the trip in full. We, at this point, had no leverage. Upon arriving at the port in Corfu at the expected departure date and time, neither boat was in harbor and no one let us know this. I called sail in Greece and they responded by email noting that a sail in Greece representative would meet us in 10-20 minutes to explain why the boats were not ready to board. 1 hour and 10 minutes later, the representative showed up stating that our boats were delayed due to “ Bad weather” and would not be in harbor until 10pm that evening ( 5 hours after the expected departure). “Bad weather “ was the reason for the delay. The weather was perfect with calm seas, a mild wind and no clouds. Clearly this was not the truth. I am disappointed with this company and would highly recommend against booking a trip with them. Their integrity is highly questionable. From start to finish, Simos, their marketing director has been exceptionally poor with communication, vague and often times misleading and untruthful. When asked pointed questions, he skirts the issue and we have come to expect delayed and confusing replies to simple questions. I f you do book with this Sail in Greece, expect beautiful waters and warm pleasant winds; these are the given “ Natural talents of the Greek Islands”. But this is for free. For the hard earned money you will spend on this trip, equally expect disappointment, frustration, mistruths and an significant damper on a once in a life time trip. . I believe they could do better. I believe there are better more honest, companies to book with. Please look for additional comments from my group on this incident. All 19 of us will write about our own perspectives on this trip so please look forward to these upcoming comments. I would say zero if that were possible. This is a dilapidated malfunctioning boat below deck with no working air conditioning and hellish sleeping conditions for a greek summer day of 30+ degrees. The crew are inexperienced do not understand each others languages and u able to work as a team. Zero understanding of the word hospitality and zero understanding or respect for the fact that we had paid a lot of money for a holiday. Avoid them at all cost.

Ich kann all die guten Rezensionen wirklich nicht verstehen. Wir waren mit der Harmonia unterwegs. Der „Onboarding Prozess“ war eine Katastrophe, wir wurden 4 Stunden ignoriert, bis wir endlich Infos bekommen haben. Dann wurde uns erst mitgeteilt, dass wir erst am nächsten morgen losfahren und das Abendessen ausfällt. Auch die ganze Reise über wurden wir nie über den Tagesablauf oder ähnliches informiert. Der Kapitän war unfreundlich und grimmig. Das Schiff war in sehr schlechtem Zustand und musste ständig unterwegs repariert werden. Die Kabinen sind sehr alt, muffig und nicht sehr sauber. Die Getränkepreise auf dem Schiff sind sehr teuer. Wir hatten fast keine Nacht Strom, auch nicht wenn wir im Hafen waren. Es gab die ganze Reise über nur kaltes Wasser. Das einzig wirklich gute war das Essen sowie die Route. Wir können Sail in Greece nicht weiterempfehlen und können nur davon abraten.

Unsere Crew hält sich über unser Tagesprogramm an Bord auf dem Laufenden und informiert unsere Gäste täglich auf Englisch, aber nicht auf Deutsch. Daher schätze ich, dass hier das Kommunikationsproblem liegt, auf das Sie während Ihrer Kreuzfahrt gestoßen sind. Wir bieten während unserer Kreuzfahrt rund um die Uhr heißes Wasser und die Barpreise unserer Getränke sind sichtbar. Wir verstehen, dass sie teurer sein können als der Kauf von außerhalb, aber bitte bedenken Sie, dass die Bootspreise normalerweise etwas höher sind als üblich. Last but not least gibt es tatsächlich Häfen, die wir während unserer Kreuzfahrten anlegen, die keinen Strom vom Ufer liefern, und nach Mitternacht gibt es keinen 220-V-Strom auf dem Boot, aber alle Ihre Kabinenlichter und Toilettenanlagen funktionieren ordnungsgemäß. The worst sailing company in greece. A complete fraud. Do not even talk with the . They cheat all the time if they don't lie. I would like to share what we have experienced, we won’t be able to solve anything because the trip is already lost, but I want to transmit that Sail in Greece is a complete fraud, so this company won’t do this to anyone else. It has been a huge FRAUD. No respect of you have in contract, always lying, it doesn't matter what you tell them, they do what ever they want. I went to a trip on August 21, in arthemis boat, for 5 days, on the third day I had no boat, I was in a hotel waiting for the boat. Once in the boat, it has nothing to do with the contract, photos, collateral services etc. A complete disaster.

Scam! To avoid at all costs. Cancelled the cruise less than 24h prior to departure, inventing 3 different excuses and so far making other excuses to delay the refund. Do not care about leaving 18 people stranded, including children.... #Artemis #doublebooking

Awful cruise with Aphrodite M/S in beginning August 2021. The new captain of the ship put us in danger in a couple of situation, the worst put the anchor in Antipaxos in the channel outside the safe water limit and suggested us to swim between the passage of the boat. No one of our wishes described in the list sent by the company has been fulfilled. No fish meal, no sea sport. And fire on board. The crew was very helpful but the captain was unable to deliver a service of quality.
