“Port pickup and drop off was great!
The scooter I rented was for heavy person and worked good until it stopped working one day in port. My wife and I had to push it manually back to ship. It was not a dead battery it just would not go. Ships crew said it was a key problem. The ship replacement was for lighter persons. It worked but I was not as comfortable.”
“The wheelchair was in our cabin when we arrived. We noticed one of the foot rests was loose. So we exchanged for a wheelchair on board. Norweigan cruise line was very good in replacing your wheelchair and yours was never picked up by your company until we left the ship at the end of our cruise.”
“Rental was nice. Other than we were told to leave the scooter in our room and had difficulty getting through customs as they did not have enough wheelchair porters. Next time we would take it off the ship and drop it off after we go through customs yesterday..”

It was perfect for my wife's needs, being intricately manœverable and compact enough to fit in elevators and through stateroom doors. We will being using Scoot Around again on our next cruise in November, this year.”
“The website is wonky to rent from, best option is to call Scootaround. I've been double charged twice and it was a hassle to get it corrected. Several phone calls. Otherwise, scooter is always where it's supposed to be on time and in good shape when I rent for cruises.”

“Pick up and drop off at the cruise terminal was seamless. The scooter, however, was a little rough on the edges. Part of it was coming off, and there was a definite scuffing sound as I tooled down the aisles (maybe something was rubbing again a tire?). The battery lasted, though, and I had no real mechanical problems with it. I just felt like it had been used and abused in the past.”
“Everything was fine although instead of being in my cabin, the scooter was waiting for me as we boarded the ship. This worked out well. What I don't like is having to leave the scooter in the cabin on the day of departure.”
“Appreciate that the scooter is in the cabin when we board the ship. But, we've had issues with the chargers. Fortunately, on our last cruise our cabin attendant was able to find us another charger to use. But, on a previous cruise we were not as lucky and the scooter couldn't be used. Had to resort to using a wheelchair. But in both instances you compensated us for our inconvience. That is why we continue to use Scoot Around.”
