I personally will not use this company again, I don’t recommend anybody else does either, a bad experience from start to finish, I wasn’t going to review the experience but they kept hounding me with emails

Appointment was made for 4pm and people came to collect the car at 7pm.

I am not satisfied with the services of this company, we agreed on a completely different price and after taking the car, which was in working order, I was informed that I would not receive the agreed amount but a lower one. The company stated that one of the parts in this car was not original and after all I did not sell this car for use but for scrap, so I do not understand what this has to do with it. I waited several days for a bank transfer ... I do not recommend

We understand how frustrating it is when expectations are not met, and we are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused. Furthermore, we apologize for any confusion caused by the discrepancy in the selling price, especially concerning the non-original part in your car. As you rightly pointed out, since the purpose of selling your car was for scrap. However by submitting your vehicle on our website you are agreeing to our terms. And these are that the part in question should be the original part. Due to this part having such a high value, this obviously infulenced the value we were able to pay. If you wish to go back to our website and view the section agreement terms within our terms and conditions this should clarify all of the issues for you. We also acknowledge the delay in the bank transfer, which further added to your dissatisfaction. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and the time it took to process the payment. Payments are usually delayed whilst customers decide wether or not they wish to proceed or not due to a price revision. Your feedback is truly valuable to us, and we genuinely appreciate your concerns. Email communication fine from head office, money deposited fast, Mick the recovery driver however was very rude and unreliable. Arranged time between 10-12 monday, called at 8am that morning to cancel as he was too busy, re-arranged for the following day, same time. Called again at 8am the next day and said we do it right now or I'm not coming. I explained that the car was not at my address and seeing as I didn't have a car, I had to get a taxi to the place. He tried to cancel it again, saying 'I've got plenty to do today so it's now or it's not happening' I told him his behaviour wasn't acceptable. He said 'I'll set off now but if your not there in 15 minutes I'm off' I managed to get there in time. In person his attitude didn't change I asked him a few questions regarding it as I no longer had trust in him/the business and he replied with 'look do you want me to take this or what because I've got plenty of work to do and I can just go' I found the whole experience with him incredibly rude and unprofessional. I doubted if I would get paid but thankfully I did. He was a very poor representation of your company and unfortunately I would not recommend your business to others.

This company is robbing people off . Don't trust them. Soonest you agree with the price online ,they will come and take your car. Next day they will offer you less than half price for your car, when the car in there garage, Or they will tell you com collect your car if you don't agree for the price they offer you . They will say find your way to get your car back. Come recover your car. Those people is robing cars 🚗 Don't trust this company

Hi Mohamid, Thank you for leaving a review. In our terms and conditions it states it has to be a complete vehicle with all original parts (please see here: https://scrapmycaronline.co.uk/terms-privacy/#1657797814926-03d6f9b2-b663), which is the basis you receive a quote on. Your Honda Civic did not have the most valuable part of the vehicle, as you were advised while on the phone with our office staff. As you did not agree with the quote reduction, we offered to store your vehicle while you found another company to collect directly from ourselves and we provided a deadline for this as it would be taking up space in our yard. When the vehicle was not collected by the deadline, the vehicle was dismantled as you were advised. I’m still waiting for a call back from the manager that I asked for within 24 hrs , I had taken the afternoon off work for the car to be collected as I was called twice on the same day to make sure it was still ok to be picked up , the driver rang me at 8am to let me know he would be half an hr, so I had to take the morning off work too, the management need to give their heads a wobble , I wouldn’t recommend to anyone in the future
