Installed professionally as per website guidelines.
First weekend after being fitted (to a flat brick wall for decoration) we experienced heavy rainfall. The boards distorted and bent and buckled.
Contacted Screen with Envy who refused to deal with my complaint because the screen had been installed. No refund and no return. Despite them not being fit for purpose, have had to order the 15mm screens at my own cost.”
“Ordered 3 screens & 2 posts in dove grey from this company. They came quickly (although not the next day delivery as promised). Unfortunately only 1 of the screens matched the colour of the posts. And then the fun started. Umpteen emails over several weeks resulted in an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. The customer service department is woeful. They quote from a set script constantly trying to absolve the company of any fault. Even went so far as to suggest we painted them. The founders, Sophie & Tom Birkert constantly hide behind their customer services team. There is no way of contacting them direct. After threatening legal action I was sent 2 replacement screens - but these are a different grey too. Their quality control is non existent. The products are shipped in from China & shipped out to the customers. I doubt the contents are even checked. Certainly no attempt appears to be made to match colours of the screens & posts being despatched. I would never order from this company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. Read the positive Trustpilot reviews with caution. They are happy to leave "invited" positive reviews on, whilst deleting "invited" unfavourable reviews They are currently trying to have my independent negative review removed. If the positive reviews on here & on Trustpilot are genuine, then think yourselves lucky that all went well with your purchase.”

“This company is a disgrace I ordered 3 x radiator covers and each one is damaged and should be painted white but the paint is different colours and some parts are not painted and they advised me to buy Rustoleum paint and another paint to seal the paint and paint them myself ! they will not send replacement covers because they say I have installed them, which I have not!
they come flat packed and have to be built so the boxes have been opened but they are not fit to be used or installed as they say and are haggling with me over a discount! each time I email and respond to an email a different representative answers me! appalling Customer service do not trust them !”
“If your order is anything more than just simple panels then avoid. I've ordered 3 times from this company now. First time was just panels and these arrived quickly. Second and third orders never showed up and was strung along for almost 3 months (on second order) before I eventually got my refund.
Thought I'd try them again recently and after waiting a week for a next day delivery, i contacted them again to be told it would be at least 10+ weeks before I could expect the items to be despatched. This was contrary to what was advertised on their website when placing the order and the entire reason for me ordering. I've cancelled my order and fully expect resistance to getting my money back again.”
“Look beyond the glossy photos and advertising. Read genuine reviews and not “invited reviews” on Trust pilot. Majority of customers all have the same complaints - didn’t receive product or partially received damages items”

“Don’t use this company. They are cowboys. I paid for a gate in March. It is now the end of August and I have still only received part of it. They won’t refund me unless I pay to send the heavy part back myself and they say the rest of it isn’t in stock.
The parts are useless without the fixings, hinges and locks.”
“Ordered gate May 5th. One small part delivered August 2nd. Same problems as everyone else. They've refunded me the cost MINUS the screen (£60)they delivered which is of no use to me without the rest!! Luckily I have pursued charge back via my credit card company who are totally on my side. I WILL get the £60 back. My message to everyone is simple. Don't deal with these people and do pursue them via your credit card company. You will win.”

Ordered a radiator over with next day delivery for free, which sounds too good to be true in the first place. A week later and still no item. I contacted them 3 times and n the third time was told that the item is on pre-order and won't be delivered for another 2 months.
Nowhere on the website does it state that the item is a preorder and I had no email telling me this! The only reason I was suspicious is that on my tracking with Hermes they still hadn't received the item (I know Hermes being the good guys for a change!)
I am now awaiting a refund and have been promised that in 2 - 3 working days....fingers crossed!”
“Unfortunately Screen with Envy does not deserve even 1 star. I ordered a pedestrian gate on 31st of May which was supposed to be delivered the next day. After several harrowing calls, a delivery was made early August. To my dismay the order has arrived with no hinges, no slats, no lock and key. Calling them again, it was promised that it will be delivered the next day. Again no promise kept. I called them again today and two different customer service agents giving them two different timelines - One says delivery in 2 weeks and the other says delivery can't be done before 19th September. It's harrasment. I am not hesitating to take a legal action against them unless they refund my money as I have no will left to receive anything from them. Worst company with worst customer service.”
“I had an awful experience with this company. Huge delays in deliveries whilst the website indicates in stock and next day. No follow-up email to say "sorry your items are not in stock". Just radio silence leaving you to think you have been scammed! It took over 3 months to finally fulfil my order!
Along the way there were damages, lost orders (which means you have to wait 7 days before they will do anything), and a very rigid refund policy leaving you with items you cannot return!
Eventually the products do turn up and are good quality, but the customer experience along the way is truly awful. I wasn't kept in the picture, I was constantly having to chase.
If your items are in stock and you don't need to return anything then you might have an OK experience, but anything outside of this will leave you disappointed.
I am pleased with the end result, and the screens do look great, but I'd urge you to go with one of their competitors instead. I just wish there were other companies offering the same thing back when I bought mine :(”
“Anyone else having issues with screen with envy? I've not received my order. Only one post out of 6. Which is also missing all of its parts. I'm being now told If I don't accept them to send the missing parts out i have to pay to return it. As its their policy they are trying to resolve it.
However I placed my order on 31st July for next day delivery. For 6 base plates and 6 posts. 2 weeks later I receive 4 damaged base plates that were wrapped in just bubble wrap. And apparently the posts had been returned to them. They resent the order out. This time I received 6 base plates and 1 post missing the parts.
Now because I said I just want a refund I'm being told they will send the parts out for the 1 post I have. Or I can return for a refund but I have to pay postage. Despite the fact I still don't have my full order and am only cancelling as the orders been messed up twice. This is not good customer service. I'm not even allowed to speak to a manager or anyone high up. I just keep getting told this is out return policy. I can understand if the post was not missing parts. I said I would keep the base plates as will cost loads for me to return in postage but why should I pay to return a post thats missing parts? They have also been dragging it out to refund me. When I keep asking for a refund”
“What can I say, bunch of liars, they take your money then Fob you off with such fairytale as we will be in contact again in 48 hours, we'll the 48 hrs has turned to 72 and no word. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Looking at B&Q now, at least they have real people and not faceless liars”
“I placed an order and paid in full 27th May 2021. Since then the order has been with Hermes , they must of lost it , its been despatched again , not received. Then i said i would collect the goods as i did not believe a word they told me. On collection , 3 posts missing ! then we start again , July , then August sounded positive i was told they were in stock and would be sent out with 72 hrs , then another mail from someone else saying 48hrs and you would have them by the weekend , finally i was told they were in stock. One mis truth after another. to date 17th August still not received the 3 anyway posts. i told them to collect the goods and send my money back , i was told you need to send them back and if they could resell the items i would receive a refund , how could i use them i am still posts missing !! Absolute Joke company”
“Avoid this company unless you want to be messed around like nothing you have ever seen before. Consistently promise to delivery goods. Nothing ever arrives. Tracking details are misleading as do not offer any insights. Consistently blame courier for delayed goods. Stating they lost them. Then they lost the replacement paperwork for shipping replacements for lost items. Courier has advised it is incorrect. Block you on social media pages if share real experience. I then needed an additional post due to being poorly advised initially. Placed the order only to learn the order was deliberately cancelled by their director because they were unhappy with honest account on TrustPilot. Even better I only learnt about this because I rang having not received any replies to my emails on a an update and was told they cancelled it but didnt tell me. And couldnt tell me why I was not informed they cancelled the order. Furthermore, they also did not refund it. I asked them to check they said it was, when I asked for confirmation they advised oh it hadnt been refunded. Oh and by the way the refund process is manual. Which means they require someone to request the system issue a refund. So it meant that the person who cancelled this knew they needed to refund it also but didnt. Also advised their director was complicit in the decision to cancel due to info. provided on Trustpilot.”
“WARNING this company is awful placed an order for a pedestrian gate on 6 June 8 weeks later still no gate was continually told lies originally it was on a two week delivery which I said would wait for then I was told it would be July before I got it July past into August was continually lied to had messages off Hermes saying they was going to deliver on Three separate days but failed to deliver as there was no one home again lies I have cctv on my property and a video doorbell. Eventually had enough and raised a dispute with PayPal on 24 July to my shock and horror they found in there favour because Hermes had sent a tracking number I didn’t agree so contacted PayPal again to disagree with there findings and eventually on 16 August found in my favour. This is a horrible company who continually tell lies and Hermes are no better stay away or lose money there is a far better company out there.”
“Ordered a radiator cover beginning of May 21 and to date I am still waiting delivery. I have contacted Screen with Envy numerous times, and they keep saying awaiting for stock. Asked for my money back, and they said the item was reduced because it was out of stock at the time, but it did not say so on the website. First email I received of them said there was no room on the van for it, and they would send on the next one available .
it is now the middle of August and I'm still waiting. I would avoid this company and would not recommend them either to anybody.”
“We ordered a gate and fence from this company fence arrived safely within a few days. The gate which we ordered early June arrived July 27th in complete no frame we contacted screen with envy immediately well if holding on to there phone system is immediate, was told will get back to me. We where just left phoned every day and emailed eventually they have re ordered but have been told no stock until end of August avoid this company at all costs they are just not interested only in taking your money”
