This company is NOT manufacturing anything at all. The customer service is AWFUL. They are an absolute SCAM. We ve ordered a Sliding gate worth £1700 middle of August. 3-4 weeks lead time they said (next day on their website). On september 15, marked as despatched. Call them for the following 3 days telling us it has been despatched and will be delivered next day. After 3 days, call TNT Directly and they never collected the parcel. Call them they said “we ve made a mistake, our apologies, we ve got the composite infills but missing the gate frame.” So for 3 days we called them they confirmed it was despatched but we had to find out ourselves they be made a “mistake”. Then call them on 1st week of October they said “we will have the frame next week will be delivered the following week” We call the following week “sorry it’s not ready we have the frame but not the infill”???? A joke! Now 25 of October, call them (because they never do) we’ve got everything ready it getting packed and will be delivered in the next few days. Following week after nothing turned up “sorry we just realised that we are missing the frame and the trellis, it will be another 3-4 weeks” We request to cancel the order, no response. We called them, they cut the line.. This company should be reported and shut down. They may deliver few things to some lucky customers when they received their cargo from China but if you re unlucky and order the wrong product (in our case sliding gates) you’re going towards an absolute nightmare. I WILL ADVISE ANYONE TO FIND ANOTHER COMPANY AS YOU MAY EXPERIENCE ONE OF THE WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE OF YOUR LIFE WITH THIS PEOPLE. My review is 100% genuine, I know it’s sounds absolutely insane but it’s true. I’ve got all emails to prove my says.

My story is the same as everyone else. My order was in stock but as soon as I paid they said it wasnt in stock and I would have to wait 4 weeks. The following month I received an email to say my order had been dispatched. I tried to follow the tracking details but the number wasn't recognised. I emailed SWE several times but no reply so I phoned the courier who said they did not know anything about my order but would look into it. A few hours later the courier phoned to say my order was damaged and had to be returned to SWE. After ignoring several emails from me SWE eventually replied saying it would be another month to wait. They then emailed me to say they were delighted my order had been delivered! It hadn't. After several more emails, which were mostly ignored, they eventually agreed to refund me once senior management had approved it. 2 months on I am still waiting for my refund and they do not reply to my emails or answer the phone. I have never left a bad review in my life but Screen With Envy need to be named and shamed for the absolute con artists they are. My bank is trying to get my refund now. They need to be struck off. I don't know how the founder, Sophie Birkett, can sleep at night. Watchdog will be on to them next. Watch this space!

Here’s my story so far! I ordered 6 screens and 7 posts on 6th June, an order totalling over £1700! With the promised next day delivery I expected my order by 8th. I got a dispatch notice and tracking number on 7th. A few days after this date had passed, I still hadn’t received my screens and the tracking number didn’t work so I contacted them by email, they replied saying the courier must have lost my order and they will contact them. I chased them again and was told by somebody else that my order hadn’t in fact been dispatched because the screens I chose were out of stock. They said if I chose an alternative my screens would be with me the next day. So I replied saying I’d swap from MOUCHARABIYA to VERDURE. I didn’t hear back, so chased again and received another tracking number with delivery due on 18th. The tracking number just lead to PDX website, so I contacted them and they said they’d had several similar phone calls regarding screen with envy, it appears they are booking in the courier and then cancelling, so we get a tracking number but nothing moves on the tracking as there are no goods for PDX to collect. Just another delay tactic. I was then promised a full refund by 5pm on Monday, of course it never arrived. I then had a message yesterday to say I can’t be refunded as the courier has lost the item. It’s truly laughable. I have been watching them closely and notice they challenge trust pilot reviews and have them removed to buy time, they delete all negative comments on social media and block anyone who leaves a bad comment. They are still running huge advertising campaigns and promising next day delivery. I’m so outraged with them that I have collected everything together, sent the information to my bank to claim a chargeback. I will also be reporting them to visa & MasterCard fraud departments and shopify merchant fraud. I have logged a report to watchdog online and will be doing the same with citizens advice consumer fraud department as well as reporting their tactics to trust pilot & Facebook and Instagram advertising as a scam. I have also started to message potential customers that I see post on their social media to warn them. This may seem extreme to some, but I am £1700 out of pocket and am sick of their blatant lies & sneaky underhand tactics. I am also angry that they are still taking people’s money even now, knowing full well the order will not be fulfilled. I am sure if enough people report them to the right people this company can be stopped in their tracks. As for trust pilot reviews, the manager has been messaging old customers with a sob story to get the invited good reviews! Just go to detailed overview and look at the organic reviews for the real true picture. Please also see Facebook group screen with envy real reviews to see lots of others bad experiences. Also check out their account son companys house, CCJ’s etc. The company is being run into the ground.

Warning to customers who are still awaiting their money back, make a claim against them in small claims court and bombard them with CCJs!! I had trouble like everyone else ordered a screen and posts. Nothing came, chased, fobbed off, got block on Facebook and Instagram. Sent message after message...ignored. So I claimed back through PayPal. They awarded in my favour. Then two days after it turned up. I expected them to contact me so we could arrange payment now I actually had it. Oh no they did one better I received a summons for money or I would need up with a CCJ. This in my opinion was really low and actually demonstrates the type of company you are going to deal with. I was more than happy to pay but I wasn't going to have my money with a company who wouldn't supply the goods and would not communicate. So my advice is if you are waiting for you money and know you are not going to receive your good take them to court. Sadly this has been EDITED as Screen With Envy have complained that I said that their positive reviews are fake. Okay I accept and apologise that my statement was without evidence, however I will point out that if they have so much time on their hands they should be addressing the poor customers who are chasing their goods and responding to the feedback on websites giving an explanation rather than looking for way to stop people expressing how they have been made to feel. It's called freedom of speech. The products are good and do look nice I do think they are overpriced, however, the service is appalling. So order with low expectations and anything above is a win.

Terrible service. Ordered a door in September for next day delivery and here we are in November with no door and £300 poorer. Communication is dreadful - standard response used very time and they don’t care a single bit. I have requested a refund and feel thoroughly stupid to have been scammed.

Ordered 2 separate screens as 'dove grey' on 2 separate occasions which matched. Ordered a third and was sent 'grey' and fobbed off by Jessica saying that there is a variance in batches. Totally different colour but she was having none of it. Very bad customer service and had to get trading standards involved to try to resolve. And the comment by 'plum ber" on 4th March 2020 in that the colour variance is breach of consumer rights is in fact correct. I called trading standards whom looked at the website along with my order confirmation and pictures of differences in colour i had received and have confirmed it is a breach of trading standards in that it is mis-selling no matter what the terms and conditions state. Be very cautious if you do order and get them to check before any colours before despatch. They also took an order off me knowing fine well it was discontinued. I had to complain before getting my money back and was fobbed off again by some incompetent advisor. Avoid if possible. Screen with Envy is a limited company and is regulated by the companies act in the uk.

Ordered a radiator cover at the start of the year , got told April , may , June now it’s August!! 8 months is a joke , I’ve asked for a refund , doubt it’ll happen , avoid at all costs , company is despicable, full of lies and false promises

How I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. Absolutely terrible customer care. Like other customers I ordered 3 months ago, assured of delivery within a couple of days. Payment was taken immediately but 3 months later I am still awaiting delivery. They do not answer phone calls, never return calls and e mails are acknowledged but never actioned. I am now cancelling the order but expecting a battle for a refund. Please avoid this terrible company.

Please do not buy from this company, save yourself from the anxiety, stress and lost of your hard earned money. We regretted that we did not check the company reviews online before we order their composite fences. Now we are one of their so-called NEXTDAY delivery victims. The main reason we bought the composite fence from them was because they offer us NEXTDAY DELIVERY, we needed the fence urgently for our boundary fence in the garden and our neighbour really like a pretty & nice light grey composite fence. So right from the start, we asked their staff via online chat to check their stock and delivery timeline before we order. They told us stocks are sitting in their warehouse ready to despatch for next day delivery. However, they've lied. There isn't any delivery, no goods, nothing. When contacted them via online chat, they kept repeating the same reason, delay in transit, courier issues etc and when we called, the lady sounded very unhappy, she said the order already been despatched and blamed the courier, she said they cannot cancel or refund us. Instead she asked us to refuse delivery if it come and only refund you after they receive it. We contacted the courier company directly, they told us that SWE did not give them the goods/pallet for delivery, so they have nothing to deliver. It's obvious that they did not despatch the order. We then asked SWE to cancel our order and refund us, they refused to do so. They firmly insisted that they despatched the order and is delayed in the transit. From morning till afternoon, we've battling with them but we're getting nowhere. We are now seeking Citizens Advice, taking action actively to get our money back. We encourage everyone who suffers the same as us report this company to BBC Watchdog and also seeking advice from citizensadvice.org.uk / Trading Standard to get back your hard earned money especially in this pandemic. We still not getting a refund back for undelivered order, the worst is we now have an upset neighbour next door!

Do not order anything. Have had 5 weeks of hell and stress to get my money back. I am out of pocket as I had to pay £104.00 to return the rubbish they sent me. Dented scratched and a very poor botch job to touch up. Lie after lie of promises. Eventually realised I would be better going through paypalBeware, you might get my returned order. Never ever again.

Do not order !!!! If I could have given this company 0 stars I would have, but the system makes me give 1. - ordered, next day delivery, screens looked amazing - 3 weeks later, no screens - call them, and the phone line goes dead after 10 mins - online chat, got me no where, very unprofessional comments, like "I am sure they will come next week". - generic emails sent out saying they are looking into it, - impossible to talk to anybody given up and claimed money back through paypal, PLEASE don't use this company, not good

Ordered in March 2021 nothing arrived by end of June 2021 despite many many promises it would be delivered, false tracking numbers, excuses of shipping problems, manufacturing problems etc. etc. In the end I asked to cancel the order and have a refund. Nothing happened. So I escalated to Paypal for a refund, only then did they start shipping my order and only in parts - not the entire order. I contacted them to ask why they are doing this, and they had the cheek to say because I had escalated to Paypal they couldn't talk to me. Just came across like they are buying time. Terrible company, mediocre products, terrible customer service.

Spent over £4,000 with them 9 months ago. About 3 months ago we noticed the composite fencing was cracking in several different places. Contacted them and they are refusing to replace any of the panels citing that it is general wear and tear. Avoid at all costs. Great Facebook presence but it is a gimmick. No one to provide customer support via telephone.

I am disgusted with this company. Ordered 2 screens a month ago, same old story as everyone else, that the courier had lost them. Got replacements sent but totally different colours. Told I would get a replacement but yet again told courier had sent back because they were damaged. Today they sent me £10 and told me to get a can of spray paint and paint them. Needless to say I sent the money back. It is a joke that they are in business and nothing is done about it.

Don't bother at all. The quality is horrible, cheap plastic sold at inflated prices. I should have asked for a sample so I can only blame myself. Hopefully, I will be able to save others from making the same mistake. Ask for a sample in order to avoid throwing your money away.

Shocking company. It’s basically hit or miss if you receive goods. I missed. Informed twice goods enroute both lies. Kept emailing all l get will be dispatched!, asked for refund now they don’t reply. They need to be closed down.

I ordered a sample pack and then chose the trellis screens based on the samples. What arrived was a totally different colour. I showed them a photo and they said they would go to warehouse to pick screens nearer the sample colour. They did say it can vary in shade and this is in their terms and conditions. This I feel is very sneaky when all images show darker grey but sample is off white grey. They then backtracked and refused to replace. I had thrown packaging away, expecting new ones to arrive. They then refused to accept return without the packaging. Customer service is terrible. They do reply but with repetitive stock replies. I was willing to accept a small refund but no. I have given up but want to make sure people are aware of the small print and what you see isn’t what you get. The link below shows the sample and the screen together. You decide if it’s just production shade variation or an entirely different product. Since found a much better company with fab reviews.
