“This company is either an elaborate SCAM or in serious financial trouble. DO NOT USE don’t be fooled by the glossy social media or too good to be true discounts. They take your money fast enough but don’t deliver any products. Ordered a gate in July and still nothing arrived and now getting the run around to get my money back. Currently going through the bank to try and recover that way. They are unresponsive on communications the phone lines do not work. They delete all negative comments on social media posts. It’s a disgrace they are still allowed to trade. I have reported them to trading standards and hope all others who have been scammed by this joke of a company do the same.”

“PLEASE AVOID!!! Bought a 6ft screen months ago, delivered in good time with emails asking me to inspect on arrival. That went ok so we then ordered a gate then the trouble started, paid upfront and waited months, phoned often and told it would be early the next week, didn’t arrive and were ignored thereafter. Raised the issue with PayPal( pointless really ) got our bank to get the refund then got an email from SWE of our cancelled order. Our first delivery is to draw you in then you get scammed. Our bank said they will not be out of pocket and they will get the money back from them. We were lucky to get this resolved, hoping that many more try their bank to get back at this company.”
“Order placed and delivered all in good time. But the order was damaged in transit so contacted SWE, absolutely no response on any contact medium. Damages happen but what I can’t forgive is the lack of customer support and the distain in which they treat their customers. Quick enough to take your money, buyer beware!”

I also looked on Companies House website and Screen With Envy moved their accounting period forward by six months in July 2022.
This, along with (1) them having hardly any stock for months and (2) continual fire sales for products on ‘back order’ to raise cash, are red flags that could point to cash flow issues and possibility of them going bust.

“The most disgraceful company who will take your money deliver nothing and then simply ignore you or fob you of with woefully inadequate customer service which is off shore with an agent (sounded like she was in a backyard somewhere as I could hear chickens squawking and dogs barking) clearly following a script and could do nothing. Have received by email 2 very dodgy emails showing my package is with Tuffnells, if I was them I would immediately cancel my contract with Screen for Envy and another email with emojis. They clearly do not know how to run a business and continue to take orders they should be ashamed. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY!!”

In the end as was at hospital appt with father, item delivered! Clearly emails ignored. Now left with poorly packaged items, have notified local Trading Standards. You cannot call as their lines supposedly 'down for maintenance', cannot email as no actual responses to the issue raised, tried online chat, again auto responses. Funny how before purchasing I could get through on the same number.
Do not purchase anything from this shockingly bad company. I rang Charles and Ivy who maybe double the price but at least you can speak with humans and their quality of service/products are superior.”

I ordered 2x16mm trellises. They arrived within 2 weeks but I didn't unpack properly only had a wee peek. When I opened this morning was so disappointed to find the 2 packages delivered each contained 3x5mm trellises! So I now have 6 of the wrong size! Customer service appalling!!!”

“Absolutely disgusting customer service. Ordered my screen, no delivery. Chased and chased and chased via email, phone, Messenger. Either no reply at times and left hanging or when did reply, it was to fob me off with delays. Requested refund as clearly goods were never going to show up. More chasing, chasing, chasing, then ‘the refund manager is off sick’ (why they couldn’t have refunded before I don’t know). Now escalating to the Consumer Ombudsman as they still have money 2 months later and I still have no screen and no refund.”
