“Hi all I order the brushed stainless steel I pick it up Friday and electric turn up Saturday to fit the light and infor me it had rush on the light order it from birkenhead shop the manager today Monday 23/3/20 was out of order with me I will not us this birkenhead shop for long time I hope the manager is sack to”

“Called in to weston super mare .iam a business owner and because iam not a electrician or plumber was just dismissed I then went into edmundsons electrical and spent 350 on parts if as a business you can afford to turn away money you shouldn't be in business...”

“Great at getting items to us in our remote location, poor at getting them back when (on very few occasions) things go wrong. Always very helpful if you need to call them. Website simple and easy to search and use.”

“I have visited Screwfix in Bulwell Nottingham many times and I am always find the staff helpful and friendly. Today I visited the store and was served by Alan and Zach. The where extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products they self. There customer service is excellent and it is always a pleasure visiting the store. I van highly recommend Bulwell Screwfix”

“I get most of my hardware from Screwfix in Handforth. The staff are very helpful and value is excellent ! Most items are available immediately, those exceptions when not can be ordered for next day , or website will detail which store it is if you need it same day ! I have no hesitation in recommending Screwfix and this store !”

“I agree with Cathaff's review of Screwfix 1 month ago, to buy even the simplest of things you get the third degree to try and get your details,its pathetic, unnecessary and downright intrusive, so grow up Screwfix and start respecting people's privacy, we don't all want offers etc from you !”

“Ordered a generator from them They sent me a text it was ready for collection It wasn't even in their branch They then told me that they wouldn't process refund unless I attended store Be careful”

“Wolverhampton Wulfrun Trading Estate I felt I was an inconvenience to the staff when I was finally served. Then charged twice on my card after I was advised the first payment did not go through. When showed my online statement on my banking app was told that one of the payments ‘probably’ wouldn’t go through which consequently did the next day - sales staff advised there was nothing she could do and that I would have call back to the branch with a bank statement! Called customer service and advised to send an email with screenshot of transactions. Now have to wait for a refund through no fault of my own. Very disappointing service, will not be using Screwfix in the future as clearly they do not value their customer these days - made me feel like a fraud!!”

“Hi my tools was stolen in screwfix car park whilst I did shopping by them I asked them in writing to get the cctv footage they didn't allow me to see the suspect on their cctv look in the photos what they answered me”

“Bought a mitre saw today at Kendal store. Wanting to view item before purchasing when box was opened it needed to be assembled the store manager Dave could not have been more helpful & offered to assemble it so I could view. He then carried it to my car for me. Many thanks Dave”

“Sick of staff constantly trying to harvest names and addresses etc when it's none of their business and a data protection risk. Peoples info is none of your business, neither is it the business of everyone else in the shop. It is blatant data gathering to harass with marketing and use info and then lose it when your servers get hacked. Stop it now.”

“Our kitchen strip light went at 3.40pm Christmas eve. Knowing all shops close at 4.00pm dashed to b&q in Stockton and just locking doors 3.50. Looked over and there was Screwfix. Got my striplight probably half the price of b&q. Thank you Screwfix for saving the day and our Christmas. Once again can't thank you enough xx”

“Screwfix - great at taking your money; lousy at refunding it I purchased some jigsaw blades online for collection at the Screwfix branch in Plymouth. I then realised that they weren't compatible with my jigsaw and immediately phoned Screwfix customer services. They said they could cancel the order and refund me. Guess what? No Refund. I followed up with an email to Screwfix and received a response on 24 Nov 19. No apology for the delay. The email stated that the Plymouth store would be contacted and that I would receive my refund when the store put the item back into stock. It's now 11 Dec and still no refund. This experience has led me to look for alternatives to Screwfix and I've since discovered Tool Station and I have to say their prices are far far better than those at Screwfix.”

“Most DIY materials are available at a reasonable price. Mostly available in the storeroom or will deliver next day.”
