“Took double payment from my account on 20th march receiving only one order ive tried ringing numerous timeson hold for 2 hours each time and still not spoken to anyone. Im a lone parent and now have bank cjarges because of this will not order again furious and taking it further 9”

“Have always bought clothes from there select sales which have been delivered promptly. Refund into bank account straight away when item out of stock. No problems. Still happy to shop at select.”

“No refund on my purchase had to take a credit note,when I asked to see the customer notice which stated this it was a very small notice at the till, disgusting company policy even the staff were embarrassed, shameful practice hence won't be returning”

“I spent over £150 on good and said to the staff if they didn't fit was I able to bring them back and told yes. Brought £60 worth of stuff back to find I can only have in store credit was fumin!!!!!!!!!”

“So after waiting over 2 weeks for my order I sent emails which were ignored, so then I called after being on hold for 30 minutes I was told Hermes had lost my parcel.. so I asked ok can you send me a new one... this apparently isn't the usual protocol, I was put on hold and then was told good news your parcel isn't lost it has infact been damaged so being sent back to the warehouse. So I asked if you know it's on the way back I'm sure you can send me another one as it's a Christmas present was put on hold again.... "good news I've spoken to Hermes and your parcel will be delivered in 48 hours" brilliant but that wasn't the case 4 days later I call again (45 minutes on hold) and get the pleasure of talking to a young lady with the worst customer service skills I've ever experienced. I've now been told I have to wait 14 days for select to refund or resend my parcel. It's safe to say I will never order from this company again and will have great pleasure in telling people to avoid them at all cost”

“I placed an order on the website, then was looking through the social media pages and reviews on google. This worried me as I expected a problem but I cannot complain, the order came within 3 days, everything was packaged correctly & of a decent quality. The only issue was tracking the delivery information but that was due to a high amount of people using the website, but when I contacted select they replied straight away and kept me up to date with the information! Would recommend.”

“After the bad reviews i was i two minds to order but glad i did. Arrived quickly. Items as described really happy with them. Only advice I have is the leggings are slightly big so I'd recommend a smaller size. Would definatly shop again thankyou.”

“Do not like there retuns policy or the way treated by staff, when you buy a product and it does not fit you take it back and they have not got your size only to be told that you can only have a credit note is just not on”

“Dreadful store. Wanted to return an item I bought and took home. Didn't have time to try it on at the store, I was sure I could return it if I didn't like it. I went back later that same day, asking for a refund and return. The woman refused and said they don't do refunds. I got up the website on my phone to show to her and went on their returns policy which states that they refund. The woman found a sentence saying they don't refund items at the store that were bought online. That's completely irrelivant because my item was bought in store. When I told her that she was making up more excuses as to why she can't refund. Will not ever be purchasing there again, disgusting customer service.”

“Just made my 3rd attempt at ordering from Select... 1st time, 1 item was unavailable, 2nd time none were available and 3rd time, 1 unavailable. It's very annoying as you think you are getting value for your money when you make a multi order under one delivery price. Having to make a second order elsewhere for the things that were unavailable. Definitely considering not purchasing from here again. Value is great as long as you receive it.”

“Really disappointed with customer services.I made an order online for 7 items and only 1 item turned up I emailed you about this and was told to send you my details of my missing items .I then had to send another email as not heard anything back from you to be told that this is impossible and that I had received my items SHOCKING I only spent £ 25 so to be accused of fraud is really upsetting on such a small order ..”

“I went to shop at select in Southend and was told they shut at 5pm I looked around picked up a few items then went to pay at the till I was then told at the till that the till had been cashed up already I looked at the time it was 4.45pm therefore they could only take card payments the girl at the till looked at me like I was an idiot at the end of the day if they are open till 5pm they should be taking cash and card payments up until 5pm! Not cashing up before 4.45pm and deciding they can only take card payments without informing customers! A pointless effort and waste of time! I will not be going back!”

“Bought a faulty item over 2 months ago. When I returned it to store was told it had to be sent away and would receive refund within 14 days. Have had no response or money back despite 3 emails sent to follow up, phone calls ignored and a letter sent recorded delivery. Absolutely disgusting....I don't see how they are allowed to operate like this especially as a store on the high street! Have reported to Trading Standards.”
