Ordered £100 worth of clothes for my daughter three weeks ago. Hermes delivered to god knows where instead, I supplied proof to select (ring footage, photos of my door compared to the photo Hermes sent) yet still select refuse to resend or refund. Because “both the doors are white” (actually stated by Tracy at customer services).. mine (in the photos) is actually grey now and has glass panels running down the right hand side, Hermes delivered to a white solid panelled door (in photos). Tracy looked on old google maps from 2017 and found my door used to be white. (White door with flower pots) Absolutely disgusting service. I’ve reported to trading standards and if I don’t hear with 48 hours I’m going to take them to small claims court!

I ordered trousers for school. The button had come off so I've been hoping t doesn't fall off when I'm walking. The zip doesn't stay up (it's definitely my size) so I'm using a key ring to keep up and the material rubs when I sit down. Return policy meant I couldn't return it because I had worn it but how else would I have known about the problems. No wonder there's no reviews on the website. I imagined select to have good quality trousers but i guess i was wrong.

Bought a pair of chain cargo trousers with elastic waist, in the Broadway store. At the check out, I made enquiries because I thought they should have been in the sale. There was no price tag. Just a receipt stating, and I qoute; Chain Cargo Trousers size 18 5059071852884 Grey There where issues with the belt as well, as it's only two feet long. Anyway, I went home and checked the website. They where in the sale and all the sizes where already sold out, except for one size. No surprises there, I thought. I wrote to customer service to explain my predicament,that had happened in Bradford, Broadway. A few hours later, I received a reply. How did we do? I replied back, Bad. Reason. Unresolved. Today, I received a very badly composed email. It was from Gaby C. She was on the defense, and showed an item from the website of a different pair of cargo trousers. I replied back on the, How did we do, part. I'm awaiting a reply. But, I just can't believe how incompetent the staff is. The customer service, and who knows who else? I have business sense, and customer service skills. I have worked in Oxford Street, and there is just no way you would get away with this type of attitude in London. This is fast fashion. It's on it's way out. Unfortunately, people in the north of England don't have the money to spend. I predict the Select shops will be out of business, in a few years time.

The order I placed throw the online PayPal account on lockdown period. But the address on PayPal was old. But unfortunately, for the system from Select, I am unable to update the delivery address. I contacted the customer service and they said I have to wait (while the Product will transfer to the delivery team harness). While the team got the product, before delivery I called them to let them know about updating the address. They confirmed to me about successful updates. After that, I knocked them several times throw an online customer service number from their website, but the number was inactive. Recently I emailed them from my unused email id. I already emailed to customer service email address, but I didn’t receive anything from them. Reply of mines: What kind of joke it is? I am chasing this order since I placed the order. I had called to select customer service to update my delivery address, and she confirmed that. Since then I tried to contact with customer service number and also head office. I sent several emails and I also contacted the local stores regarding that. After updating the address you delivered to the old address. Is it my fault? I am Looking for a solution for nearly six months. Reply from Select: Pravin (Select Fashion) 6 May 2021, 11:23 CEST Hello, We can see the order was placed on 28-11-2020 and the same was despatched on 28-11-2020, the delivery address was put by you while placing order was 123 Keogh Road, London E154NT. We have checked the Hermes tracking and its shows secure delivery at the above address. As the delivery has been made at the address provided by yourselves on order, we are unable to help any further Kind Regards Pravin

If I could give minus 100 I would me and my friends just went to the Westfield select store and the work who said she was the manager fully insulted us.she told us to get out and even said she would call the security for not picking up the clothes we left in the changing room eventhoght we repeatedly told her that it’s wasn’t us who left the clothes there.instead she responded but saying I don’t care get out or I’ll call the security just because we were young teens that didn’t even say anything back it was truly insulting do not go there unless u want to get insulted

Got a pair of boots took them home and they hadn't been properly finished there was still extra material down the sides and inside tried to return only to be told I'd have to send them to head office and wait weeks for a refund it was a genuine fault so I feel there should of been some discretion on getting a refund in store would of been happy to exchange but they didn't have my size very bad outdated policy and will put me of buying things in there again

Took double payment from my account on 20th march receiving only one order ive tried ringing numerous timeson hold for 2 hours each time and still not spoken to anyone. Im a lone parent and now have bank cjarges because of this will not order again furious and taking it further 9

Steer clear.... Been trying to contact for days, currently on hold for over 3hrs... Have emailed fb messaged.... No response at all.... Quick to take money but 8 days after placing order it hasn't even been confirmed!

Misleading item description. Ordered some black cargo jeans, as they were described on website, and when I got the order they looked like the item in the photo but the fabric was nowhere near a jeans, but a thin elastic one, like spandex. As they don't do refunds in store I went to exchange them with something else so I wouldn't have to spend extra for return postage, just to be told that they can't take them because of the label that they had on the bag. So another waste of time. This was the last time I'm buying anything from selectfashion.

The Oxford store at Templars Square still has it's fitting rooms CLOSED so that you can't try items on before buying. And they say it's due to covid!?! AT THE SAME SHOPPING CENTRE ALL OTHER SHOPS HAVE THEIR FITTING ROOMS OPEN, AND EVEN TOILETS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! All it is it's to make people take the items home, take the money and keep it. Is it even legal? Their return policy is 14 days But! only for an exchange or a credit note, NOT money back. I bought a few items and tried them at home, they did not fit and they didn't have sizes above 12 in the store. So I could not do an exchange! And I don't want any other items. So I was left with the credit to use on items I don't want. NOBODY MENTIONED TO ME I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET A REFUND! IS THAT EVEN LEGAL? I was told in the store, upon returning unwanted clothes (and after the money was taken from my account) that the policy is described on the receipt! As a consumer I have a right to know that I won't be able to get my monies back BEFORE I PAY! Not after I've paid. Bad experience. I will not be buying from them ever again nor recommending to anyone. Bad practices, disrespectful towards customers.

Ordered jumper received cardigan returned at my own expense been 11 days no reply to emails no refund and 37 attempts to get through on telephone and thats just today constantly busy tone AVIOD

Avoid them! Ordered on the 27th September. Told by Hermes the items were delayed. This has not changed. Cannot ring Select as phone is always engaged. They either do not reply to emails or their inbox is full. Stolen my money.

It’s actually disgusting how awful this company is! Complete thieves! Hermes delivered to the wrong address. We’ve searched everywhere in our locality. Hermes said they left it in an “outbuilding” we live in a mid terrace NEW BUILD with NO OUTBUILDING! Basically called me a liar by Tracey in Customer Service/head office. Practically impossible to get a refund. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Thieving, rude and vile!

2 days ago I went to buy some cloths from “Select” shop in Bristol. As you couldn’t try them on in the store I bought some to try on at home. When I found out that the trousers were to small I went back to return them. When I tried to return them I was told that, I was only able to get a voucher instead of the money. So if you ever shop in select be careful because you won’t be able to get your money back.

Newcastle under Lyme store. Dreadful customer service walked in About 4pm no where near closing time. One member of staff flinging a pink hetty hover all over the place and nearly hit my foot. But hit her colleague, the hoovering was an EXTREME safety hazard, the wire was all over the floor and she was hoovering where I was standing, whilst the hoover was on they were speaking extremely loudly over it about none professional problems (out of work conversations) Whilst this was going on, an old lady was asking for MY help with getting her a top down from the shelf and getting me to pick out sizes for her. Me? A customer. Was So shocked, I work in retail myself, and this is totally unacceptable and unprofessional, could not believe it.

BUYER BEWARE! AVOID AVOID AVOID! Select is by far, the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with! There should be an option for zero stars... even that is too much! I placed an order with Select over a month ago, for nearly £70. Hermes failed to deliver the order (that's a whole different saga in itself!) and sent the parcel back to the Select. I am still waiting for my refund and after several calls I am still no further forward in receiving it. Last week they told me that they were issuing a refund... nothing. Now now this week they are telling me that they can't issue a refund until they find out where the parcel is. Not only has Hermes not returned the parcel but Select state that they don't have any information on where the parcel is! Last week they did know that the parcel was being returned??? My tracking states that it is on its back to the sender but apparently Select have a different tracking system that doesn't tell them that the parcel is being returned??? I have now been told that they have escalated my issue and I will hear back by the end of the day... I was told that same thing yesterday... I cannot believe that it is taking this long to be issued a refund for items that I have never received!!! This company takes your money, delivers a bad service and then makes it very difficult to get it back when something goes wrong. I have told Select that I will be reporting them to Trading Standards. Someone needs to look into their business practices and their blatant disregard for basic Consumers Rights. I am an owner of a retail business myself, and I would never, ever treat my customers in this way! As I am writing this review, I have just received an email from Select, stating that they are issuing a refund and it should take 3-5 days to reach my account. I won't hold my breath but I will wait for 5 days and then if I do not receive the refund as promised in writing, I will be back on here to post an update on my experience with this company. The ironic thing is that I paid extra for express delivery! It would be funny if it wasn't so terrible!! My advice to anyone reading this... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

Vile vile vile store and vile manager, Stacey in the Longton store. Rude, unprofessional needs a good training course on how to actually speak to people. Never use this awful store, they will happily take your money, not make you aware that you will not get a refund then refuse, humiliate you in the store then make threats when you ask to speak to someone higher.
