“I tried to cancel this before 14 days and received an email saying it was too late. I then checked my bank about 3 weeks later and £99 had been taken from them, they refuse to give a refund although I have all the emails to and from them. The staff are rude and pushy, I have now sent a letter to them in writing and will be going to find out what the next steps are to get my money back from them. I wouldn't go near them, they don't even stick to their own terms and conditions. You'll phone them and they'll offer you loads of different products that you're not interested in and you can say no so many times they'll push and push.”
“DON'T touch this company at all. Debited £99.99 despite me cancelling my membership within the stated 14 days. Was promised a refund and have still had nothing despite numerous emails to them Finally now with the Ombudsman to sort.....not to mention that if you call and put your point forcefully (without swearing or being offensive I might add) they give you a warning.....I interrupted twice and was given two warnings before the call was terminated!!!!! Apparently they have a backlog from May to deal with.......DO NOT USE!!!!”
“When I searched for a short term loan online, and having entered basic details on SEG webpage, they rang me and went throught the usual spin and advised me that should I NOT successfully secure a loan through their recommended lenders, I would not pay any brokerage fees. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!!!!!! My application with two different lenders fell down due to my banking situation, which is delicate due to an ongoing divorce settlement.
So you can imagine how I felt when on 02/09/14, i checked my current bank balance, only to find that this bunch of SHARKS had taken £99.99 from my account. Where does it say that they will take this amount even if your application fails? I to recorded the call, and I have a copy of their T&C's, which I have handed over to the police, as there is clearly an issue of Fraud and Theft.
I would warn anyone to do their research on this mob before proceeding with them. Like all other such companies, they have a registered office in Leeds, UK, but no email address. I wouldn't trust this shower as far as I could spit and I look forward to seeing them prosecuted.
You have been warned, so be very, very careful.

“1st guy spoke to VERY helpful, thou told me about a £5 charge, which don't mind., then he passed me through to energy comparison lady, not very nice had awful tone when I told her I did not wish another guy to finalise loan he out phone down on me. Not good service. But 1st guy lovely”
“Called SGE Loans to get a quote for a loan.
Asked for my card details and stupid me gave them.
Advised no money would be taken out as it was just for checking purposes.
Checked my bank account and 89.99 has been taken.
Called SGE and advised money would be refunded after 28 days.
No such luck.

I have been in touch with the financial ombudsman.
As a person on here suggested.
Thanks they were brill and have taken my case.
So fingers crossed.

Told me to go into my emails and sign up through an email SGE sent.
Lucky me had the sense not too.
Cancelled under 14 day money at beginning of July.
Fought for the last 2 months to get my money back.
I was given so many excuses from system failure to not enough staff to process my refund.
Got in touch with The Financial Ombudsman.
Contact no 03001239123.
They took it on free of charge.
A week later.
Got my money back and they had the cheek to say that they were doing it as a goodwill gesture.
