I ordered the Franke composite sink which came quickly enough, but there was a fine crack across one corner and a screw hole underneath was damaged. The sink was discounted by £35 so assume it was a seconds, or had been returned. It wasn't obvious until the plumber pointed out the flaws and I had inspected it as required when it arrived. The plumber didn't damage it as I was with him when he fitted it. I managed to disguise the crack, but I wasn't happy. If it was a seconds or returned I should have been told.

I'm afraid my kitchen sink arrived damaged. I returned it last Tuesday but have not as yet received my money back. not really impressed with that.

The cooker hood did not come with some screws, which slow down an installation as we have to go to buy those as we were half way through and did not have time to send the item back and wait for another delivery. Not happy at all.

The product is very nice, although the packaging was damp right through, it was handed straight from the courier to my daughter, so I don't know how that happened or also smelled damp so must of been wet for some time previous to delivery.

It took a while before I found out where my order had got to, but once I had spoken to you, you were very attentive and kept me informed until the item was delivered.

The item was delivery on time though the equipment is not working properly especially the icebox. It's now over a week but there's no ice in the icebox and my items are getting spoilt.

Looks decent.easy to install. Fan not great, but might be that misses lied about putting it on when I came in to condensation on windows...she normally lies so won't get money back.

Actually arranging the delivery was good. Cannot comment yet on the actual cooker hood as it has not yet been connected. My kitchen is being refurbished and not yet readdy. The state of the box on delivery however was questionable. It had been opened - possibly to put the delivery papers inside - and not very well re-sealed. I was assured by the driver that everything was there. We'll see what happens when the electrician comes to fi it.

The box had been opened and there was no instructions with the extractor.

Bought a chimney extractor hood but the chimney section was dinted. Customer services were very helpful and arranged a replacement part to be delivered the next day. It arrived and was in worse condition than the first due to inadequate packaging. Again customer services were excellent and replaced the part however this caused a 5day delay due to their delivery midday cuttoff and the weekend. I would rate 1 star for quality but 5 for customer services picking up the pieces. I would use SIA again but only if I have time on my hands.

Hi, Sorry for all the inconvenience caused with this order, we do open every box before shipping to repack to try and avoid any damage during delivery but sadly accidents do happen. The products are great and arrived promptly. We were advised to check the items for damage on delivery, to avoid a collection charge if the products were found to be damaged. We attempted to do this and told the delivery drivers we were to check them, but they refused, saying they had a lot of deliveries to do, and left whilst we were checking all items, despite our insistence that they remained whie we did so. Fortunately the items weren't damaged, but be aware, it might have been a problem if they were.

The experience was spoiled by you supplying a 1.5bowl so k with a waste kit designed for a 2/bowl model. This caused an additional cost of £25.00. I am an experienced kitchen installer and know what I am talking about. Abstracast supply a type that can be adjusted for both models. Further, the set you provide has waste outlet swivels that are only secured by the resistance provided by the rubber ,"O"/rings and would inevitably get knocked off and cause flooding. The sink is of good quality and packed very well. Delivery was excellent. J Marshall
