Bought a polymer sink that is underfitted to an island worktop, it has cracked due to moulding defect (it is a straight crack following the plastic weld line path) and needs to be replaced. this seller will not accept liability and just said 'you must have dropped something' rather than actually investigating even asking for the sink back to be checked by the manufacturer. by the way it had a 10 year guarantee - not worth diddly with this lot - AVOID!!!!!!!

I purchased a fridge freezer that has a loud knocking noise coming from the compressor, only to be told by SIA that this is a normal noise and there is no fault. The customer service team are very unhelpful, they keep you on hold for ages and then just fob you off they just want you to go away.

USELESS COMPANY CANNOT ORGANISE A SIMPLE EXCHANGE AFTER SENDING ME A DAMAGED EXTRACTOR FAN THEN TRYING TO GET ME TO ACCEPT 40 POUND TO KEEP IT , WHY WOULD ANYONE KEEP A DAMAGED GOODS ?? THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE . 5 DAYS I HAVE BEEN TRYING STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS SHAMBLES YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Been fighting for 7 months now to get a refund on a faulty set of oven/fan/hob package deal. The oven and hob both faulty. Eventually after me getting my bank involved they have agreed to refund the hob and oven but this has taken 7 months of emails, waiting for engineers etc. The fan was part of the package so out of decency you would think they would refund this too but they wont. I have bought another matching set off another company so am stuck with this unwanted fan now.

DO NOT BUY FROM SHIPIT APPLIANCES Bought a cooker hood. It arrived with dents in chimney. Packaging clearly showed it had been previously unpacked and badly repacked. Tried to phone numerous times NO ANSWER. Sent many email NO REPLY. Come on trading Standards shut these cowboys down, there are numerous examples of malpractice.

I bought a hood from Ship it appliances 4 days ago and paid £9.99 for the next day delivery. The courier company they use to deliver their goods is called APC-overnight which is an extremely bad courier company. Here I am after 4 days, which was supposed to be the next day delivery, there is still no sign of my item. For this negligent from both Ship it appliances and the courier company they use, I have to pay another £120 to my builder to come and fix this hood for me! Unbelievably irresponsible and awful service.

Do not buy from these cowboys ,, just read the reviews on all sites , trading standards should shut them down and send the directors to prison , it’s called stealing money ! , brought a cooker hood , faulty won’t even honour the warranty’s std 12 warranty , they offer a 2 yr + 5 yr parts ,, they just ignore e mails , phone calls are a joke, the hood is a fire hazard , unusable ,, pity they don’t offer a fire warranty I could’ve took that as well ,, e bay should ban them from selling on there site and they should stick to a dodgy car boot we’re you expect to buy junk from

I would definitely not recommend buying from this company. I’ve had a freezer delivered that was incredibly dented. My fridge also has a small dent in but after the hassle of replacing the freezer it wasn’t worth going through again. After plugging in the freezer I’ve found that The thermostat is incorrect and totally froze my whole freezer. The delivery was ridiculous and told me they tried to deliver when I was in the house (they definitely didn’t). Don’t expect to get any kind of warranty after the 30 period (or any kind of help) normally warranties for appliances are a lot longer than 30 days, due to issues that can occur later down the line. This is very disappointing and I will not be buying anything from this company again.

I ordered the Franke composite sink which came quickly enough, but there was a fine crack across one corner and a screw hole underneath was damaged. The sink was discounted by £35 so assume it was a seconds, or had been returned. It wasn't obvious until the plumber pointed out the flaws and I had inspected it as required when it arrived. The plumber didn't damage it as I was with him when he fitted it. I managed to disguise the crack, but I wasn't happy. If it was a seconds or returned I should have been told.

I had an issue with a tap I purchased. The issue was minor but important to me during a stressful time. The customer service I received was above and beyond what I expected. I don’t suppose I can name the lady who helped me but a big thank you to Emily.
