I recently ordered a pair of DM (Adelaide) Henrietta Oxford shoes direct from DM's own website in their clearance sales - but they are only offering the Oxblood version in the sales. In fact the only other colour you can get direct from them (albeit full RRP price of £100/pair) are the Black ones. Through my online browsing, I found Shoes International (SI) and they're offering the DMs at £15 cheaper than full RRP! Plus they're offering the shoes in their original range of three colours (Oxblood, Black and Oak)! Because I am madly in love with the shoes, I ordered two pairs in the colour I don't already own. Having said that, I was fully prepared for SI to come back to me and say "sorry the manufacturer has stopped the Oak version, would you like to cancel it or order a different colour" etc etc etc... I put in my order on a Friday 5 August, by Monday 8 August I received an email telling me to expect delivery in 14 working days. Then yesterday Tuesday 23 August, I got an email telling me they've shipped my shoes and by 15:50 Wednesday 24 August I received delivery of both shoes!!! I am totally over the moon with the service... just BRILLIANT! I mean I have had no need to contact and communicate with them direct, but from reading all reviews I can imagine they'd be super efficient and super helpful! I would definitely be using SI again in the future and will honestly, "from bottom of my heart" kind, be recommending them to friends! Well done guys and keep up the good service! I love the personalised message in the box too! Note: (a) Chaps... despite the shoes being marketed for ladies... don't be scared, they're not too feminine and the heels are only about 1.5"! (b) If you are in between sizes (and have wide-ish feet) you ought to round it up to the next size up. In fact I originally ordered size UK6.5 when I ordered direct from DM but had to return it and re-ordered size UK7, because the shoes are a bit narrow. All in all, if you love the look of the shoes... go for it! I thoroughly recommend them and definitely recommend Shoes International!!!

“My order arrived very quickly, however it transpired that there was an issue with the shoes I had purchased from Shoes International. Unfortunately the specific shoe manufacturer's agent was very slow to respond to my queries regarding settlement of the issue, however Shoes International quickly replied to my emails and chased the agent on my behalf. When the agent declined to reply further, Shoes International intervened and resolved the matter directly with me. This was greatly appreciated.”

“I had to change my shipping address. That was done with a minimum of fuss and my shoes arrived safely in Australia, with very reasonable international shipping costs. Unfortunately I have had to return them due to a bad fit, but Shoes International were not responsible for that. I am glad to have discovered your company and hope to be able to use your services again I the future.”

“A tale of serendipity - Fussy wife sees shoes she "must have" in a shoe shop, but not available in her size (all sold out) Extensive effort by the shop reveals Head Office is also completely out of stock. Shoes International came to the rescue and sent the right shoes by return. Very happy wife! R.P.Udall. Chichester”

Please note that we offer a Price Pledge - if you find the same product available elsewhere at a lower combined price we will beat it (there are some terms and conditions - see our website). The Internet is a very competitive market. We constantly monitor our prices - because if we do not, we lose business. I wonder if you might be referring to the shipping charges to South Africa? We charge shipping to cover the cost of the shipping to us and unfortunately shipping to South Africa is one of the most expensive destinations for us. I hope you will appreciate that this matter is out of our control - to charge any less for shipping would mean the transactions were not viable for us. We did stop shipping to South Africa for this reason - but we found there were many customers willing to pay the extra shipping costs so we opened it up again with a revised shipping pricing. “I ordered a pair of Mephisto shoes and, though they didn't quite fit, they were returned very quickly and easily with no quibbling. I wish the shoes had arrived sooner, but I think they sourced the shoes after my purchase, though I wasn't there and could be wrong. If they are sourcing the shoes from the manufacturer after purchase, then this explains the delay. If not, then they could have shipped more quickly.”

“There is a good range of shoes for the wider foot . Ordering is easy but it is important to check availability as sometimes the shoes have to come from makers . Worth a call to check if time is of the essence. Returns are easy should you need to send something back .”

“I bought Mephisto shoes, they were ordered for me and were delivered on-time. I have bought and worn this brand for every day shoes and walked miles and miles in them. I hope and expect that these new shoes are just as comfortable. I would add that Mephisto has a huge range, why not put them up on the site with a garanteed order time as special order? They are such good value these are replacing my last pair bought in 2008, worn most days.”

We receive a list of all styles currently available from the manufacturer at least once a week and we update our website accordingly. So what you see on our website is everything we have in stock and everything which is available at short notice from Mephisto.
