“A major source of menswear for my day to day life. Socks, in particular, are the best on the market. Their single toe bowties are my preferred bowtie. Would buy non evening wear equivalents too.”

“What can I say, Fort Belvidere socks are truly exquisite and elegant socks. For me personally I have found them to be the best socks out there. The quality and style of the socks are outstanding, as well as the feel of the socks. I have many to my collection and replacing my other sock brands with Fort Belvidere socks. “I am 44 years old and have never given much thought or effort to dressing as a gentleman. With some of the executive security work I was doing about 6 years ago it became a necessity to "dress the part." I noticed right away how people were treating me differently, I was receiving many compliments, and I even felt different about myself, in a positive way. In the spring of 2022 I started going back to college full-time as I am seeking to get into law school by late 2024, and I am starting to do more work as a paralegal and it is not uncommon for the attorney I work for to have me accompany her to court. The environment demands that I am dressed in at least business casual, if not even more professionally at other times. I started to randomly search YouTube for ideas and education about dressing as a gentleman and I eventually stumbled across the Gentleman's Gazette. It was a treasure trove of insight and valuable lessons that I was greatly in need of. Since then I have made numerous orders from Fort Belvedere and plan to make many more. I have absolutely fallen in love with their silk woven ties, calf-high socks, and pocket squares. Completely unexpected was the affinity I developed for boutonnieres and even bow ties!”

“This is an interim review and rating … because, as of yet, my order has not been shipped. Order was place and paid for two weeks ago. Item ordered was listed as “in stock” I am unable to determine cause for delay as well as when it will be shipped. Hence this rating. Update: I submitted the above narrative review with an accompanying rating of three stars for the reasons listed. Within 30 minutes of that submission, I received a personal reply from a customer service representative with an apology and shipping information. Never have I experienced such an immediate response and resolution to a problem with a purchase made via the internet. My order (a beautiful silk boutonnière flower) arrived today as promised. Perfect for my purposes … and elegantly boxed. I update my rating to five stars. I will be a repeat customer.”

“HIgh quality materials but inaccurate fit. The pinky/thumb sleeves were too long while the middle 3 fingers fit fine. Also, the buttons look nice but impractical to press button thru the snug buttonhole w one glove on. Snap buttons would be more functional.”

“Service was faster than I expected. Quality of everything is top notch. I love their stuff. Socks are long and better color options than I can get anywhere. Shoe strings are just fun to switch in and out. Pocket square are way better than the basic silk ones I have.”
