"We rented a car from London & drove to Glasgow via Lincoln & Yorkshire without incident. Stopped at Glasgow SixT city office & asked to park two levels below in multi storey car park. Scraped wheel trim on extremely narrow circle turn. Tiny scratch. They have ripped me of \u00a3140. I\u2019ve since read many bad reviews about SixT UK. Beware. I\u2019ll never use them again."

"I returned the car to Glasgow City SixT after after having driven over 1000 kilometres. I had to park it in a car parking lift for them. I touched a wheel trim on the extremely tight turntable on the lift and they want to rip me off over \u00a3100. I will never use them again."

"I rented a car from SIXT in Bordeaux for 3 days. When I returned the car, before flying out, they told me to just leave the keys as the only staff member was helping someone else (big mistake on my end!). A few days later I received an email saying that upon review they found a 10cm scratch on the rear bumper, one that I am pretty sure I did not cause but sadly have no way to prove since I did not take pictures when dropping off the car. The infuriating part though is that from the pictures SIXT sent me you can tell it's an incredibly superficial \"damage\" and there is no way anyone in their right mind would charge 414 euros for, which they are of course doing. It's clear that they don't have an interest in maintaining a loyal customer pool and are simply out to get you. I would STAY AWAY from Sixt. Plenty of other car rental companies around!"

"Surprise final invoice had ridiculous damage waiver insurance $137 that I did not ask for I had insurance from Expedia,my credit card, and my own personal insurance. It is absolutely nonsense that I asked for a 4th insurance but this is garbage SIXT pulls on its customers. I am going to perhaps have my daughter file a class action I have already found several folks who had surprise final bills from this company. Insurance problems and phony scratch claims seems to be there business model. I am including the bill from Expedia that clearly shows I already had extra insurance. I will never rent from them again and I strongly suggest you go elsewhere."

"When I turned in the vehicle the employee stated I scratched the bumper. There were hair thin scratches on the front right bumper which could only be seen if a light was shined on it. I did not see those scratches when I did my walk around because I did'n\u2019t shine a light across the surface. Now they are asking me to pay $722 to repair something no one would repair on their own personal car. I never drove into anything. It would appear a bush brushed against the bumper, which I never did. The employee even stated the scratches could have come from road debris. I will never rent from this company again."
