the driver, Kaitik Sharma, went above and beyond to deliver my order. This was a group order from Mcdonalds on a Wednesday evening. The coffee that I ordered got spilled and he drove to MvlcDonalds to replace it for me! I am thrilled with his service

I accidentally placed an order for Pickup instead of delivery. Called up the restaurant and the restaurant was kind enough to not process the order and gave customer support contact number. Spoke to Ashdeep who very quickly verified me and cancelled my order swiftly after double checking with the restaurant. I really appreciate (New India buffet @W Broadway and Ashdeep @skip customer support) to act so swiftly and providing amazing customer service. Credit was reflected on my card after a few min. Thank you!

I recently drove halfway across Canada... and back. Total of 8,000 km. In order to minimize risks in this day of COVID19, we ordered food in to the hotel every night rather than eat in a resto. We used Skip the Dishes in Winnipeg twice, Regina, Saskatoon, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie. Then again a few times when we got home to Ottawa. Excellent APP. Easy to download, install and use within minutes. 100% accuracy of order. Great GPS tracing of where the driver is. Food was delivered on time, or early, every single time. The user interface presents all the resto menus in the same format so it is easy to read, understand, select, and order. I just tried using DOOR DASH and had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with it... so bad that I just gave up on ordering and I am about to delete it from my phone.

Typically ordering through them is rather pleasant and easy through and through. However, most of their delivery people are rather cold. Most don't say "Hello", "Hi", "Hi I'm ____, I'm here to deliver X to Y" and so it feels very unpleasant like they hate this job. Recently I ordered a single blended coffee beverage and it took 3 hours! I live maybe 8 blocks away and for whatever reason it took 3 hours! Even then when I was told I'd be compensated for the timing I was given $5 credit. That was all they were going to give me until I contacted their support a 2nd time and they refunded me the beverage. Still even after all that $5 as the initial compensation is pitiful, stingy, and somewhat insulting.

For every restaurant on Skip the Dishes should be a feedback section for the CEO's to review and make changes. Like, since when does a customer have to ASK for napkins??

Update: Skip refunded the full amount on my credit card without contacting me which is why I bumped up my review from 1* to 3* Original: Terrible service. Order was sent to restaurant 30 minutes after the order was placed. No driver was ever assigned to the order, the restaurants manager had to deliver the order himself. Skip only offered to refund the tip I had prepaid. Incredible.

I have had mostly positive experiences with Skip, except two instances where one of the items I ordered was wrong (though that could have been the restaurant’s fault for not checking) and the other time the driver couldn’t find my house and I had to go out for him to hand me my food. Other than that, the service has been good.

This is the third time we have dealt with this firm. Each other time was not a great experience either. This latest time we placed an order from McDonald's. On the order it requests do you want the order to be left at the door (no contact) or do you wish to meet them at the door. We chose MEET AT THE DOOR. There was also a place for an extra note in which I went a step further and stated to" Please ensure to hand the order to someone "...Time comes first delivery and no knock or doorbell ring. So we wait patiently as things happen. Finally I hecknthe ap whi h days it was delivered?? So surrounded enough we find 30+$ of food just sitting on our front porch getting cold. 🤔 were 2 notes not enough for this staff?

They never let you know they have delivered your meal. I'm handicapped ♿️ so how do you expect me to get outside to pick up my meal? Your service has gone down over the years. Time to switch to Uber eats.

Used to order during COVID, was happy with service. Ordered couple of days ago, have no idea why they froze my credit card cause something went wrong with thier system, tried to chat with someone on line, stayed 15 min chatting, he couldn't explain why or help me with my questions, that's why I stopped ordering with them.

Twice now I have ordered and the food has been inedible. Once the driver left it in the ground in my driveway in the rain despite the fact there is a chair for deliveries at my front door. Yesterday I recieved a pizza with no sauce with several pieces having neither sauce not cheese and the most they will offer is 50% credit. So I've paid 1/2 price and also now have to get more food as I'm not going to eat wet food that's been on the ground or pizza that I have to choke down as it's been made with no sauce. Horrible! I will be using another service from now on

I gave them 2 stars because some drivers are ok but most do not care about your food. They just care about the money they are making. I guess I am going to have to tip accordingly.

I’ve ordered with skip the dishes for a while now. Actual delivery and accuracy is good. Don’t ever have a problem. Customer service is horrendous. Over two hours to be told they could do nothing.

## SkipTheDishes Disappointed Customer - Unhygienic Delivery Practices **One Star Rating** I'm extremely disappointed with my recent SkipTheDishes experience. While the food itself might be good from the restaurants, the delivery conditions are concerning and unacceptable. On multiple occasions, my food has arrived looking **disgusting**. Here's why: * **Food Left on the Floor:** Delivery drivers have a habit of leaving my food on the ground, often right by the door. This is a breeding ground for bacteria and completely unsanitary! SkipTheDishes should instruct drivers to leave it on a table, counter, or designated delivery spot if available. * **No Thermal Bags:** It seems some drivers don't use insulated bags to keep food hot or cold. This is crucial to ensure food safety, especially during hot or cold weather. * **Unsanitary Car Interiors:** I once witnessed a delivery driver taking a picture of my food inside their car. The car was littered with garbage! This is horrifying to imagine, considering that's the environment my food might be exposed to during transport. SkipTheDishes needs to prioritize proper food handling and hygiene during deliveries. These practices are not only inconsiderate but pose a serious health risk. Until SkipTheDishes implements stricter guidelines and enforces proper food handling procedures, I will be hesitant to use their service again.

It is my third time I order and never get my order. I only receive confirmation that order is delivered, no picture nothing at my door I check both entrances of my building. I am really fed up of this poor service.

never had a problem with skip at first until the orders keep getting messed up and i understand that it’s the restaurants fault but they keep denying my money back i even sent pictures for proof that they give me the wrong items and still no refund back and apparently i was making “too many complaints” when i hadn’t done any i don’t recommend using this app they probably will deny your refund a bunch of scammers

Their app does not record street number and apartment numbers. When you order your expected to know this. The driver looks at special instructions I gave the security code to get in the building. It rings my phone. All I hear is Skip with delivery. I respond I'll buzz you in. Does not ask for apartment number and does not leave order. I paid thirty nine dollars and did not receive. That includes a delivery fee and tip. I complain and am told fifty percent refund as address was incomplete. I am penalized twenty dollars for their failed app and told I could have put apt. Number in special instructions. Even though I assumed they had my full address. I'm supposed to know this. They are rip off artists.
